A Bealls Outlett pick-up.

He's a knock-off, but pretty cool looking. No idea if he's an actual TF mold, or if I need to think of a name for him. Think he came with enough gun?

thats a KO of robot masters victory leo. if you find a dollar general or family dollar you will find the KO 2pack of RM star saber/victory leo for $3. they are pretty good KOs.

Ah. Is he supposed to split in two equal halves right down the middle that snap back together?

Yes -- each half works as like a platform boot for the Star Saber figure he comes packed with. :)

Although I guess he wouldn't be much for parts swapping unless you have the original version of him... in which case you should tell me what it is immediately!

Pick up the KO of Predaking for $40. You know you want to...

The pack I got consisted of a pretty close to dead on copy of Cliffjumper, albeit twice the size and different colours. The second fig, which was what really interested me, looks a lot like Brawn in his vehicle mode... but he transforms like BB and CJ, and has Bumblebee's face!
The second pack had a Bumblebee with a new face, and another version of the Brawn-style mould.

I'll try and post pics of the ones I got tomorrow.

I've just seen the pics - I hope they make it to Leeds' Poundland like the other Super Distortion labeled KO's have!

I have.

But i've repainted it anyway.

HOLY CRAP!!! That looks amazing! So, the quality of this is not bad for a KO?

It's pretty darn great actually - some joint could use a litte TLC but then all you need to do is to respray the "Shell", paint the face and slap a big 'ole Con logo on his chest. Size is ever so slightly taller than Classics Prime (talking about millimetre or 3 there) which looks spot on as it makes him look a little more imposing.

Got Some knockoff Legends. Here is CD Red Alert and his flamboyant cousin. The only mold change is the little connector on his right leg so he can combine with his fellow knockoffs into a Gestalt.

I love this thread. I can't believe I made it to the last page, (yup, 68 and counting, read 'em all)

Discovered the AgesThreeAndUp site, very cool KO's there, even though some are kind of pricey.

Can't wait to go back to BigLots. First time there I only had eyes for some Devastators, now I wanna see if I can find a RatTrap KO, the big dragon Megatron, or if I'm really lucky the classics Megatron KO. That one that's posted and repainted really has me wanting one of those now.

and a KO Alt Grimlock and Hound would be pretty awesome too.

This is a really great thread for those of us who like KO's. They're a little less stressful to play with since you don't worry about breaking them. They're cheap.

To bad we don't have a section for KO's instead of just the one thread. It makes it hard to look up certain posts, plus in that 68 pages there were alot of posts that were basically the same posts. People posting the same exact toy/info/etc.

and I feel like I've seen a techno colored Stegasorus over and over and over, but if you should see one, there's this guy that's looking....

I just did a quick google search -- apparently it's a knockoff of Granbird from Solar Hero Fighbird. Here's the link:

I'd be interested in hearing more about these so-called duocons you saw! Our CVS has the Galaxy Defender shuttle (not to mention Power Rangers KOs!), but not those.

Sorry, no pics. The mall security guard may try to mess with me again if they see cameras shooting away.

Anyway, the quality is way below the usual KO TF. So i pass on this one. :)

Now im usually against KOs, but i have as of late been itching to buy a KO Fort Max. Im really not up to paying so much money for the real deal ( i can but its a bit much >< ) so i may pick up the cheap version. My question is, if any one owns a Fort Max KO, how bad of a KO is he?

I've got the shrunk-down FortMax KO, and it's really good. Pretty excellent.

Take note the Chinese produce different scales of KO FortMax. The excellent quality of the small one doesn't automatically mean the same for the big ones.

Better check it out first before buying.

I'd scrutinize every angle of the toy inside the bubble before i buy a KO. Particular focus on the joints, which parts is articulated as the original, and which parts are simplified.

You're KO FortMax looks good. Quality seems above average (of KO quality level).

I'm not so sure about the Shockwave though.

But i've seen some good Soundwave KO too. If you can find one.

Waaaarghlord got one of those Shockwave KO's, probably about 20 pages ago. From memory he said it was decent quality but the trigger's very, very sensitive and I think he ended up taking the battey out.

If I find the link I'll edit this post to include it.
