See, here's the problem. The goal of the show's creators was to NOT make it for little girls. That's the LAST thing they wanted to do, as they HATE those kind of saccharine girly shows because of how stereotypical they are.
Were an objective observer to compare that show to other's of its genre, they would see distinct differences that diversify it from the typical female-based family-friendly cartoon, but one such as yourself wouldn't know that due to how you've already made up your mind about it based on false presumptions and such.
Just the simple fact that it has reached as broad an audience as it has is evidence alone that it is unlike anything like it that has come before. If so many find it that appealing, maybe it just
is. To think otherwise like if it's hypnotizing people or something is pure folly, as that kind of stuff only exists in fiction, not reality.

That is completely ludicrous. You're afraid for being quote-unquote "assimilated" into another fandom if given the slightest chance of not hating something? Dude, there are TONS of things that I don't hate that I also don't like. It's called being indifferent. I neither like nor dislike certain things because I simply DON'T CARE. I don't make a big deal about them because I show them neither love nor hatred.
You don't want to be a Brony. That is FINE. But you're irrational (and quite frankly, unhealthy) phobic hatred make you seem like it has to always be all or nothing, one way or the other, and never in between, which is simply not the case. It IS possible to lack a fondness for something without also condemning it.

Seriouly, sexualy themed MLP fanart. If that doesn't scream "sick in the head" and "needs to see a doctor" then I don't know what does.
If they were human I wouldn't give it a second though. I'd say "that's perfectly normal to be attracted to humans"....because it is. But they're not humans, THEY'RE PONIES!!!!
Welcome to fandoms, home of all sort of strange people. Note how I said "fandom
s", meaning that EVERY fandom has these kinds of people, even the Transformers fandom.
And what's more, some of the sexually-themed Transformers art isn't merely fan art, but OFFICIAL material. So if you're appalled by the MLPFIM community having that kind of fan art, you should be more appalled by the Transformers community having published, offically-licensed,
CANON works that contain that same kind of stuff. By your logic, that makes the Transformers an even
worse franchise than MLPFIM.
