- animals, dinosaurs, nature, history... basically I'm the type that would happily live in a museum
- bird watching (though thanks to this hobby I'm amazed squirrels aren't on the top of any 'smartest animals' list)
- science fiction (both 'grounded' and purely whimsical), fantasy, mythology
- horror... to a degree. Monsters and surrealism as opposed to blood and guts -- think: Colour out of Space, The Enigma of Amigara Fault, the Doctor Who episode "Midnight" (which are all really hard to summarize without sounding stupid)

* Movies and pop culture and such. Generally sci-fi, action, or comedy. If it has goons in it, I'm all in.
* Fitness. I'm into running, but this inflamed muscle in my knee is getting in the way right now. Stupid knee. Stupid muscles. Stupid knee muscles.
* Paranormal stuff. I don't know if I believe in it and I've never seen a ghost, but I think the idea is really awesome.
* Physics.
* The big one is writing. I write a comedy/superhero/future series. In fact, I'm trying to get it published via crowdfunding. If you're into Spaceballs and X-Men, give the link in my signature a try. The series is a mashup of qualities of the two.
* And, as lame as it sounds, I like organizational ideas. Weird, I know. And that's probably as best as I can define it. Notice I didn't boldface that one. That'll be our little secret.

Thanks, man! That actually means a lot!I'm still in the process of spreading the word, so if you have any ideas on where to go, I'm all ears. These campaigns are all about word of mouth, and they're made or broken on how much hype they get.

Aha. Now this is a tricky one. Women's lingerie is cagey, but I give a three-session lecture on the subject. My next class starts in April and it includes anything from the tame underwear to wacky dominatrix stuff.

You guys are the best! The way to make this work is, yeah, to invest in it, but also spread the word. If everyone tells a friend who tells a friend who tells a friend, etc., the law of averages works its magic. So if you guys know anybody or a Facebook group or another site, pass the word by directing them to the link! Big thanks to anyone who does or who donates!
(I hope I'm not overstepping my boundaries by talking about this. I PMed Ryan a few days ago about saying something on Seibertron about the campaign, but I haven't heard back. So I hope this is allowed since the conversation progressed here. Don't want to step on any toes, though. Sorry sorry sorry.)

An appearance on a local news bulletin for harassment and public indecency doesn't count and you know it.

I'm not sure but it requires a doctor's note and an accompanying adult.

Putting on your silly little fez and your silly little bow tie and writing a note does NOT constitute a doctor's note.

But wearing these glasses and having you consult me in the back of my doctor van in this alley does. Sign here and here, please.
