I got a new haul yesterday, sans Apollyon (he'll be here next week :) ). But I was excited because Warbotron's Fierce Attack (Onslaught) the FINAL member of the team is in! In addition, DX-9 Chigurh, Overclockiing and (gasp!) XTB Ollie. Additionally I bought the x-ray gun set for Warbotron.

I will have more pics later for this haul. I have to say that I am loving Chigurh and SXS's Overclocking is pretty darned sweet (first of their product I bought). They are both solid, good QC and they look great (IMO). Ollie (as I knew) looks the part so well! But he is clearance issue prone, I did see reviews of his screwed in parts coming off. So far he is solid just those clearance issues. The only other problem I have with him is the ultra loose thigh swivel.

Now for Warbo...the figure is ? (great I hope to say eventually) comes in alt mode out of package looks the part and all as a military transport truck.

I transformed him no issues QC seems ok except...my guy has a severe case of slipped disc (see below). He transformed fine. But I did not go any further with the Gestalt after I discovered this horrible back injury. I have an email out to BBTS to inquire about a replacement.

FierceAttack1.jpg

As for the x-ray gun add on, you have to put it together, which I was looking forward to...so no issue there. If you get this kit a word of caution the mushroom pegs that create the thigh swivel are FRIGGIN tight. I had to file the port they slide into to get them to fit properly. That was after I broke one peg trying to get it in. Fixed an all but dayum that is a tight fight (insert obvious pun). The thigh swivel is also NOT needed for the transformation. Other than that the lil shockwave is pretty kewl. He could use some paint on the face but pretty poseable for a legion class figure and the transformation is kewl. The extra weapons that form the BFG for Bruticus are also kewl no issues assembling those.

Anyway...have a good morning off to get started for the Mother's day celebration today. For those that celebrate hope you have a good day with your Moms and such :).

And if there's one good thing about BBTS, is that their customer service can't be beat. They'll get you squared away in no time ;)

Thanks ShackJacker ( ;) ) heheheh, you are correct they have been great since I have used them.

In fact my G2 Sideswipe was missing one of his weapons and I emailed them sent a pic and they sent me the weapon within a few days of the email.

I am assuming the same level of service or better for this issue.

It sucks because I was sooooo looking forward to a BF-Bruticus to mess around with this weekend :( *sniff* *sniff* LOL

BBTS is shipping me out a new figure and and a return label for the defective one! Yaaaay!! I have to say 4th customer service related issue I have brought to their attention and the 4th time I have been impressed by their quickness and level of care.

Only two, including this latest were figure related. The other issues were pricing discrepancies.

I've only had this Apollyon customer service experience and it's been amazing. They answer my questions and address my concerns, it's hard to believe. I'm glad I've made my larger figure purchases with them, even though I've only had to reach out once.

I took a few shots of the latest haul Apollyon. I couldn't resist seeing how his dimensions stacked up to my 9mm; and...his silhouette is spot on. However, he is much wider than a real gun.

No judgment taken. I tried to read most things on here in a lighthearted way...unless it's dripping with drama like some not to be named threads  then I just turn an walk away or maybe try to change the subject :)

At any rate, yeah totally bummed about it but I have him "mending" upstairs right now. The tab that gives his angle tilts cracked in half. So took his leg apart popped the pin out and put some Tenax 7R plastic weld to see if that works...(fingers crossed). Figured I would let it cure over night and maybe loosen some of the tolerances on it by sanding so it's not getting to much stress moving forward. Loose ankle tilts are better than a broken ankle

My Nonslaught replacement parts will be here next week! BBTS gave me the option of just getting a replacement torso or replacing the entire kit. It was quicker and easier to get the torso so I opted for that. Didn't feeling having to deal with the return label and shipping the defective unit back...I'm like electric current I take the path of least resistance (Ba Da Cha!)

On another front, I have got another Detolf and a I bought a Billy bookcase (now my Legos have a home too) for my room...AND got some Dioder puck lights for the Detolfs...lovin'em so much more than the strip lights. Will have to get some pics. One more busy family weekend and then I will have some time.

:-? Why does BBTS have spare parts laying around? Is it a figure or an upgrade kit?

Glad you like the pucks. In time, as older lights burn out, I'm totally replacing them with those.

I think they (BBTS) are taking the torso from another figure and DOAing that instead of sending me the whole thing and then me having to send mine back.

Billy bookcase is an Ikea modular bookcase system. As for Legos I am into the creator expert stuff and Star Wars. I'll try to snap some photos today.

MP Roddy is so notorious for breaks that people make these pieces now, and I've bought ankle pieces for my TRU Roddy (but have yet to actually implement the fix).

And here I thought buying the diecast knees was being preemptive....have yet to implement that fix but will when I put the repaired ankle back together...aand the fresh ankle wull be in reserve. I ordered that while at the dealership waiting for my oil change this morning.

So as promised I did take some shots of the collection as it stands today. I did rearrange my room a bit but still have some "cleaning" (i.e. organizing and throwing crap away).

I have 3 Detolfs now...I love the Dioder puck lights (thanks for recommending Cobs!). Now I have to get the other 2 sets put in (sigh).

With all the hooplah over Apollyon...I haven't really fussed about the other neat figures I got recently. Salvia Prominon, Overclocking, Chigurh, Justice Rhinohorn, and Invisible. All of which I think are great.
