To quote Daniel Bryan, "YES! YES! YES!" Nice and sunny at the beach. Tried out some new to us brews as well. Found the Megatron metal kit thingy in a store so I picked it up! Haven't tried to build him yet though. Cleaned the 3, cut the grass, went to the water park yesterday, awesome weekend all around.Cobotron wrote:Ya. Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Cobotron wrote:Boy, at first glance, I had no idea he was KO. He doesn't look different at all.
Love the "man in the mirror" shots.
RocketPunchArmy on YouTube has a lot of KO reviews, mainly to point out the differences between the figures. Most of them are so close it's scary. The biggest differences seem to be the art on the box (since it's a scanned and reprinted copy), although I think some of them now say "TakasaTony" on the box instead of "TakaraTomy".donny1975 wrote:Well I will take your word for it ;o) I have no experience with KOs, and I don't want to have any more if I can help it. I still want to get an official version of this guy but he'll work for now. I think if you had them both in hand you would see some of the non-crip paint applications.Cobotron wrote:Boy, at first glance, I had no idea he was KO. He doesn't look different at all.

The man in the mirror pics were something I was thinking of as soon as I got him...

itscramtastic wrote:Hooray!! I knew it was water, but I didn't know they had coffee makers!! Whatabout the burnt out toaster ovens?!
Cobotron wrote::lol:I love Takasa Tony!!! It sounds like an old western outlaw name. He rides in a posse with Tuscaloosa Tom and Apache Steve.

I like that he has a name tag too. He will from this point on be referred to only as Tony.
D, that water looks AWEZUM!!

Dibots of Iron?! Soundablasta?! Combiner Wars and upgrades?! And then Warbotron. Maaaaaaaan.
carytheone wrote:Nice haul! I wants to know how you feel about them PE hands and footies. I'm still considering them for the scamblers and the Devy kit.
Cobotron wrote::shock:
What a haul!
D, is FT responsible for Scoria? That figure is beautiful. As I'm sure their other Dinotrons are.
You couldn't be more right about old Tony being an East Coaster, with the smoking and all. Although cowboys are notorious smokers, and Marlboro is synonymous with cowboys. and Schneiders who roll their smokes in their sleeves.![]()
Donny's haul has inspired me. I'm off to my "internship" in hopes of it becoming a job so I can afford monster hauls like that. Thanks D.![]()
In the words of Tony,
Seez youz guyz lata.
fugit aboudit!

Great plains?! Too much land. I'm 4 miles from the Atlantic as Laserbeak fliesCobotron wrote:I'm up for the road trip! I know where Cary is but where the heck is Cram? Am I the farthest west in Nebraska? 'Cause that probably means I have to drive. It's cool. I'll swing buy and pick you cats up.
I wanna help build that sea fort!
So D, is Scoria in that PoL? Is he in the FT box without a Dino Dude on it? (Maybe I should say, was he in that box?)
Internship - Long story short. I made a friend when I first moved here 3 years ago who owns and operates a film and motion graphics studio. I have periodically done freelance illustration for him. He has encouraged me to start coming in so he and his crew can teach me how to animate in After Effects (Adobe software). All in an effort to employ me further. It really couldn't be a sweeter deal.
You all are welcome to come to the great plains to play anytime too.
DEAL!carytheload wrote:I'll take over driving when ya hit Louisiana.

I'll be up by Lancaster in a few weeks! I laughed pretty hard when I saw "Intercourse" on the mapdonny1975 wrote:Now there's a map! Isht just got real!
Ahh the DelMarVa Peninsula, haven't been down there in ages; such beautiful shores.
Yeah Cram the chickens...that's what Maryland is known for...Uh huh...or is it the Crabs?
Us Pennsyltuckians sell T-shirts in a little town in Lancaster county that say the following:
"Maryland has Crabs but Pennsylvania has Intercourse". Haw Haw Haw!

This is a photo I call "The grass is always greener". The cat is named Jack. He's a big ole pudding and a bit of a diva.
