the Ark still wouldn't fit on them though. :-(

Thanks Cob I took a look at the Ivar collection. Lot options there...I may have to get some of them. Although I would love something like a barrister book shelf so I can keep down on the dust collecting on these guys...

I wish Ikea wasn't so far away from me I would be there shopping now.
Ya, there isn't one here in Omaha, but they just built a new one in KC, where the rest of my family lives. Headed there next weekend to look into some LED lighting for my set up.
Make a list! I'll ship it to you.

I will have to hunt around.
i hadent even considered that the detolfs werent very wide... but i know something that might help you out! elevation!

if there was something you could buy that was essentially a set of bleachers (like seating in a football stadium) that were made of clear plastic, id say get that. that way you could elevate the guys behind your front row of displayed guys, maximizing the small space. but such a thing doesnt really exist (that ive found). but heres what i have found:

Image

plastic card storage boxes. specifically the slider type. im sure they can be found anywhere that sells sports cards or the like, they are cheap as balls, and come in various sizes. the clear plastic is really nice for your set-up (ie: glass cases, keep everything clear). theres an opening door type of storage box, but the reason i say to specifically get the slider type is because theyre two stage pieces. so you can essentially get two stands/platforms out of one box.

examples!

Thanks! I appreciate that. Once I get my room in order and the shelving as I like it I will be able to get some better poses, and of course the diorama will be a great photo op. Been doing some odds and ends work on that and taking shots of it...for my next update.

So what are you getting from Kapow? AND what Microman stuff did you get and where from? I was looking for some things maybe a few interesting pieces but not finding anything that caught my fancy...

Nice I have been on the fence about the UT version of Abominus do you have Troll and/or Fenrir?. Same goes for getting a 3P version of Predaking...but the MMC version is really nice. Let us know what you think about the QC on these guys when you get them and of course PICS!

Turbo Ejector(hate that name) is really kewl, although the clear plastic for the cowling and the ball joints are super tight. I did get 2 small stress cracks in the sockets, so I then loosened the screw on the inside of each leg to help. I am probably going to put some Tenax on the crack...we'll see.

I will see Whirlwind next week most likely, he is on my PoL at BBTS.

I added MMC Hextron Terminus yesterday so I will have them shipped out next week...

Those Microman figures you ordered are really neat, I really like the Divemaster figure a lot.

Ha me doing something classy, go figure! I love hardcover books of any kind so much easier to store and display.

Va'al made me do it though, I had to see what is in this edition that is not in the IDW collection volume 6...

The stickers will keep me busy on these remaining cold snowy weekends.

Big thanks to Shajaki for suggesting these they work like a charm!

Terminus Hexatron...is really awesome, never was big into the 6 changers when I was a kid but this is an epic update to Sixshot and very IDW which I lean toward in conjunction to G1 toon. Some of his modes are still a lil derpy like the gun...

I have a lot of these but I wish my Starscream and Skywarp were in the newer mold. I'm not *quite* as 3rd party heavy as this, but I do own a few of the interesting ones. I have the KFC Blaster w/ Rewind and I have Apollyon on order. Slap a few Reprolabel faction stickers on and they're good to go.

I would rather have official versions of everything but Has/Tak take too long...tthere doesn't seem to be much ryhme or reason to how they are putting out MPs. Like you said some re-prolabels and bam! Also I can always try to off load them if an officual ine comes out that I like.

Ok...so still waiting for QW :-(...but I did get something in the mail today. He is the only KFC figure I have purchased...Transistor.

And well..I like him :D I've heard plenty of things about KFC but I like this guy's engineering and aesthetic. I hmm'd and hawww'd this guy for a long time, and in the end I just went for it. I am assuming there were not a ton of pre-orders for this guy so I got all the accoutrements and the bonus SW hands which sweeten the pot.

Bot Mode -- I think he looks great and "Rewind" looks awesome too! Rewind has become one of my favorite characters in MTMTE.
