Sludge looks FANTASTIC. I'm going to want to pick him up for sure.

I mean, I dig it, but it's a tad silly.

Is this an Age of Extinction figure, or just some unrelated promotion?

Given the knight-esque theme about them, it looks like it might be a spikier interpretation of some medieval types of boot.
I can accept that explanation, though the "curled-up ends(toes)" is still very much "elfish" as opposed to "knightish."

It's a Lucky draw for sure.
Althought if the thing is recent, it's strange that they used the Optimus 2007 Movie Leader mold.

That's exactly what I saw when images of Grimlock came out - the concept art seems even more Gundam-esque. His head made me think of this.

Transformers: Age of Extinction Generations Line TRU and Argos Exclusives in the UK
- Motto: "Till All Are Pun!"
In a completely unsurprising twist for all the UK collectors, the upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction Generations figures will be distributed largely as exclusives - the simpler Robots in Disguise, on the other hand, can be found with most retailers. Toys'R'Us UK will supply the Generations Deluxes, such as Scorn, Slug and Crosshairs, the Evolution Two-Packs, all for £14.99, and the Voyagers, like Evasion Mode Optimus Prime and Grimlock for £22.99. Argos.co.uk, on the other hand, has listed both Leader class figures Optimus Prime and Grimlock, each at £44.99, and the Grimlock Track set at £14.99. If you're heading out to hunt, make sure you point out new sightings in the appropriate section, and drop a line in the UK Sightings Thread!

Same with Canada. I went to Target today and: NOTHING. The employees didnt even know when there would be new toys. There arent even specials on deluxe beast hunters and the like to clear them out.
Amazon.ca has all deluxes, the 2 voyagers but NO leaders. Toysrus on the other hand just has the deluxe figures.
This is my first time following a launch and its a bit dissapointing.

Usually, Canada is ALWAYS late compared to the USA when new things come out. Sometime, it's just a few days for a major Movie line. Sometimes, it's weeks and weeks for some Generations waves. Sometime, it's a FULL YEAR like the goddamn wave 2 of TF Prime deluxes.
Same old, same old. For the ones who wont wait, there's always online with extra money to pay toward shipping. It suck, but it's part of the game.

Last we heard from YouTube reviewer Baltmatrix was a look at Transformers: Age of Extinction Voyager Autobot Hound - but thanks to fellow Seibertron.com user Fires_Of_Inferno, we take a look at the new punchy line of the Power Battlers with a video review of Power Punch Crosshairs! Check out the embedded clip below, browse the Seibertron.com gallery, and let us know what you think of these simple but fun-looking figures in the Energon Pub.

Just sitting at my desk, posing my Evasion Mode Prime, and had a thought: Will maybe someone release a custom head for this guy? Perhaps with his faceplate? I would totally get that.
I really like the evasion mode prime. Its one of my favorite movie primes, but I'd love to be able to swap out a faceplate head. Heck. If I found out that one was coming out I'd get a third one! (I got an extra for painting)
Anyone else like this idea or are happy with the EM Prime?

I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy
