The blades cant be removed. in fact he use the special fighting style of rolling backward in vehicle mode, then, he flip on his top and hope for the best.
In bot mode, the blades come out of his backpack so what he do, he just bend over, close his eyes, and run to ram his ennemies while screaming, hoping the very top of his backpack (where the blades come out) hit his ennemies.
Or you could just use Google and stop asking stupid questions.

You can take the blades out, yes, but that teeny tiny little storage space is all there is to put anything. The rest of the big gray bin houses Wreck-Gar's robot mode body parts, and does not open. The little compartments that house the blades are also on top of the bin rather than connected to its inside, so sticking anything inside the little slots won't lead to the bin's interior.herculesbeetle wrote:@Sabrblade. As for the Junkheap mold...

It's not much of a storage toy either.

I'd really like it if they made toys of Blackwall and Rung from the IDW comics, but it'll never happen. Especially Rung, because they'll never release a toy whose package says "??? Mode".

I just acquired some Dino Rider Construct Bot toys and I must say, these are lots of fun. How they can ride the dinobots is well implemented. And Strafe is a particularly good toy. I preffer his transformation over the transformation the deluxe toy got. The robot head is better hidden, he is completely flipped around and the dino heads become the feet. And plus, his wings flap. It's a very well done toy and surprised me greatly. These toys should be super cheap right now if you find them so if you are into trying new things I suggest giving one dinorider figure a chance and to team him up with Strafe.

I loved those figures. I'm disappointed we will never get the other rider figures

Transformers Age of Extinction Stomp and Chomp Grimlock now available at Winners (TJ Maxx)
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
The Transformers Age of Extinction overstock isn't depleting, it seems. Winners (the Canadian name of TJ Maxx) now has Stomp and Chomp Grimlock, and at a reduced price of 50$ canadian (38.36$ US). He might be coming ot a TJ Maxx near you, if you are interested and held off this long. Also, it is to be noted that the recent rare Power Battler figures found (Junkheap, Vehicon, ect) can interact with this toy (as all other Power Battler figures can).

Personally I'd rather spend more money on the titan class knockoff of the leader toy. At least that one can move it's legs...and arms (fully)...and head...

Oh, it's not the first time I've seen the thing at 50% off. What I want is 75% or more. And I'm pretty sure I will see it.
Because let's face it. Why the hell did they made a 100$ 1 step TF? Because it's quite rare for little timmy to deserves a toy that is worth more than 40$. As a guy hanging around in toy sections (FOR TOY HUNTING ONLY) my ears are always open and when a parent shop a toy with his/her child, he/she only go for the cheap ones or they tell the child how limitted the budget is.
For that reason alone, I expect that Grimmy to be so plentiful that he'll be very, very dirt cheap.
Let's hope it's lesson learned for Hasbro.

At least it seems to have the metallic paint the original desperately needed, plus a better weapon.

Both Darksteel (aka Talon
) and Sidearm Sideswipe look way better then what Takara is spinning off here. Way too little way to late it seems.

Now that's a surprise. I'm already happy with my regular DotM Sideswipe (but could never find Darksteel...), so I have no immediate need for him. I will say that release fixes a sore point of the original.
