For one thing, MP Prowl is a near exact representation of Prowl as he appears in the G1 cartoon. Alternators Prowl, on the other hand, uses a different alt mode and a little on the "chunky" side.

Don't forget that the Alternator chest is completely wrong. It points down and the doorwings are at the wrong angle as well.
