I don't consider myself a scale Nazi, and it's not a deal-breaker by any means, I just wish he was a Voyager, and I really don't understand why they'd make him a Deluxe. Especially when a character like Powerglide gets an Ultra figure.

hmmm...I never thought about that. I just assumed it was a typo

Fananga wrote:I think this whole Slag/Snarl thing is more easily explained when you think about international Marketting.
Back in the 80's the American writers picked the name Slag as in America its just the word for Molten metal which was Slag's thing and of course the show was aimed at the American audience. However when the show hit the UK there was a little worry as Slag is an insult (roughly the same as a dirty whore).
With marketting being as important as it is today (and without having to change a charachter name on the UK packaging, or re-record parts of the script for the UK shows) it just makes more financial sense to rename the Charachter.

Who knows in the future year 2005, canons may realy look like that?
In lue of that though, I do think outside of this figures body, the rest is all screwed up. What I hope though is that suport of it will eventualy lead towards a show acurate reproduction.
