Look, here are the facts:

1.) It was clearly stated that no one in that lockup does the full 45 days. Star, or otherwise.

2.) She did do her time as what was required by the court.

Like it or not, this is how things played out and she *DID* pay her debt to society. She could've fought it and won, but she went ahead and faced the music. Granted, she did put up a fight, but in the end...she did what was required of her.

That's a lot more than I can say for a lot of stars.

Hell, Tom Sizemore just got 16 months after innumerable drug charges. He should've been met with justice long before this. He beat the hell out of Heidi Fleiss.

Mel Gibson said disparaging remarks about Jewish people and the Holocaust, and even called a cop "Sugartits". Did he do any time? No.

I'm by no means saying that Paris is a hero, or changed, or even a good person (I don't know her, can't judge her), but she did more than most stars would, and she did it within the confines of the law and what the court allowed.

Getting pissed off because she was released as she was supposed to be, does nothing. Just makes you look hateful and pathetic.

I couldn't agree more. Giving someone unfair or harsher treatment just to prove a point just because they're a celebrity is crap. And no one should advocate a death, no matter the reason. It doesn't matter if their a celebrity or a politician, that's just obscene.

Personally in that picture she looks like normal human being....or maybe thats the beer talking?

I really don't care for her, she can't act, sing, or do anything good for society for that matter. This whole thing is a publicity stunt. I just wish celebrities can get fame by doing what they do best, whether they are an actor, musician, entertainer, etc. Not going to jail, or beating up their spouses, or how much drugs or alcohol they drink.

The sad thing is she didn´t learn her lesson. Wana bet how many days will it take to her to do the same thing?

I just don't want to see "I survived being in prison" shirts...

Frankly, IM Rabid O, anyone who gets done for drunk driving, and while on a suspended license, and having not been their first offence, should go to jail for YEARS not days. They should be charged with attempted murder/manslaughter.

Most will find that NZL has a very low opinion of drunks who get behind the wheel of a car.

And yes, I do think Mel G should have gone to jail for his anti-semetic drunken driving antics.
