No pre-orders from Kapow yet, I will probably buy this guy and hope that an alternate head (with a face on it) is released down the line. This is still a better version of this character than any other I have yet seen.

Wow I never realized he had a faceplate. As the Dinobot who talked the most (besides Grimlock) and also the only one with a high pitched voice, Swoop needs a mouth/face.

I bet Dr Wu (or possibly Planet X themselves) will do an alternate head for him. If Planet X does it, they'll probably just include it with the figure (I expect they would have done so with the alternate Genesis head had they gotten the feedback about it sooner).

lack of a proper shouty face is a major reason I've yet to pre-order. I want my Swoop to be able to visibly gurn about his name and/or getting his butt handed to him by psycho-future-Decepticons.

OK, yeah, he looks effing AMAZING!

I hope Planet X even decides to do their own version of Grimlock, because as much as I think the Takara version looks great, it doesn't touch the level of perfection found in Planet X's Swoop.

Well, Caelus just processed. I've heard good things about Planet X's stuff, so looking forward to him.

And yes, he'll be my CLassics Swoop. He's a robot who turns into a pterodactyl. Or pteradon. I can never remember which.

And for me he's a great size with Grimlock.

Indeed, Caelus dropped into my POL. Woot! (Also got the 2014 Deluxes starting to show up in the stores.) Looks like a fun Xmas vacation for me.

Actually, I believe Planet X has been very good thusfar. I seem to remember that they were pretty close with Genesis. (I still wish I could justify the money for Genesis...)

As much as I look forward to getting this, it still cheeses me off how badly Hasbro dropped the ball with the Dinobots. They're robot dinosaurs who transform into robots. Collectors, kids, people with interest in dinosaurs and other groups would LOVE them. This subgroup should not have to be made by third-party companies! :evil:

Yeah, Hasbro's on this whole "realistic" kick lately I guess (somewhat). I'm certain they'll be getting to them soon though, shortly after he fourth movie has dropped.

I still be they won't do the FoC Dinobots though, so Planet X is where it's at for me, because frankly the G1 Dinobots are good enough for any other purpose. I don't have a strong urge to put any Dinobots on my Classics/Generations shelves. MPs would be OK, but I'm not compelled enough to even get MP-08. I've considered it often enough, but never ended up pulling the trigger. Oh well. I've got the Asia Exclusive version on preorder on BBTS. *Maybe* I won't cancel it before it drops into my POL, but I highly doubt it at this point.
