Dude, that comic must be older than me, I still have to catch up on the old-school marvel stuff.

This would/will be my first as well...
Question is, will they make him slightly bigger than the others?
I mean, it's GRIMLOCK.
He needs to be bigger then Megatron and Optimus Prime or at least the same size. I'm really excited about this release!!
YAH!!! A Transformer I want!!

GET READY FOR IT.....

It should be from between 86 and 88. It's after the movie and grimlock assumes leadership of the autobots.
God.. I hated grimlock right there..

so basecly they could do a Jetfire as well

That would be inda cool.
I dont think that they could do Jetfire since Bandi is still useing the mold and variations on it for new toys. But who know's.
Takara never released Jetfire for their market back in the 80's like they didnt release Omega or Skylinx so if they did do Jetfire it would be their first time.

Anybody know why I did not get credit for being the first one to post this? The other thread starter part of the "news crew" got all the credit.

The simple answer is that when skowl posted it to news he hadn't seen your post. Members that could have made your post news opted not to until we get greater confirmation...atleast thats how I see it to have played out.
and add me to the list of people waiting to get excited, there has been far to much speculation on this topic to simply allow a silhouette image to pass for confirmation.

I'm gonna wait to rejoice until there's a bit more proof. Is this picture coming from a source that would make it seem official? I can't read most of the kanji, but the katakani in the article seems to suggest that it talks about Gundam a whole lot. What's the deal?

If this is an Encore release, Hasbro/Tomy will have some serious explaining to do when they flat out told us at BotCon that the Dinobots were not a possibility.
You cracka, you know the molds are out there somewhere. How dare you speek ill if Hasbros stearling genious!

Does it really matter who got the credit?????It's not like your getting paid for this.

You quoted Tim as being the one who gets credit anyways. Plus Tim wasn't even the first to post the info. The way credit should always be given is to the one who originally posted the story, not the umpteen middle men.

Why is this even an issue? As long as the information is passed on to everyone, the goal is accomplished. You can't expect a mod to go through every single post on a subject to verify which was posted first. Chances are they go with the one they see first or the one with the most posts.
Still, thank you for sharing the news with us, but this this is a little childish, don't ya think?

Its a new mold MP!
That right there makes me intrested.
What gets me excited is that they don't have to relate it to an actual item, so hopefuly the design staff will do just that, DESIGN!
This can potentialy be one of the best TFs ever.

Hell If they're charging us as if they did anyway...
As much as I like the MP line, it would be one of the last figures I get from it.
Earn my dollar Takara!
