HOW TO JOIN THE ACTION


First of all, you need a character... selecting an existing one should be a piece of cake. Just look up the stats for said character from SEIBERTRON.COM's database or simply in the RPG Profiles threads, if the character is there. We emphasis on canon characters which is why custom characters have more limited stat table. Why would the likes of Ironhide or Jazz be considered as Autobot elite if every other fan created character beats them in stats? For fancreated character you need to create everything by yourself... in both cases, please use the following fill form, don't alter it:

Name: Name of your character.
Allegiance: What group your character belongs to, Autobots, Decepticons or Neutrals (other fations are currently not available).
Function: The function of your character. Eg. Warrior or engineer.
Alt. mode: What your character transforms into. Every Transformer needs to have an alternative mode.
Weapons: List the weapons your character has. One main weapon and one or two additional weapons recommended. If you wish to carry around many weapons, you need to have high strength and firepower rating.
Special Abilities: List the special abilities your character has (eg. cloacking device). If character doesn't have any, leave this part out.
Height: The height of your character both in feet and meters. Max height of fancreated characters is 32 feet at the moment. Please do not apply for bigger characters as your first character.
Quote: 'Write a motto that tells something of your character's view of life.'

Profile: Write a profile for your character which tells something of his personality and possible history.

Abilities: Tell others what you character is capable of. List top speed and range without external fuel tanks. Explain the effects of your character's weapons.

Weaknesses: Every character has somekind of weakness, write it here.

Sample Post: In here you can let your creative talents come to a boil. You've put all this time into building up your character (or compiling the info for a canon), now show us what you can do with them. Write a sample post for your character. Have them in a combat situation or a non-combat situation. The sample post has to be set to the TF universe of the RPG so you'll have to do at least some research to the game history and/or ongoing stories. Just remember that grammar and characterization counts.

Below you can see few of the most essential rules regarding character creation:


Rule #2: You must post your character's abilities and weaknesses, alongside with their profile. This way, other players know what they are up against and vice versa. Posting the character profile can be delayed if the player wants to keep his newly created character as a mystery for story telling purposes, but even then the strengths and weaknesses of the character must be made visible for others. However players are not allowed to use their OOC (out of character) information of characters against each other in the game unless they have learned that information IC (in character)! The full character profile has to be shown to RPG mods before starting playing regardless of how one wishes to introduce his character.


Rule #3: Fan created characters: When creating a fan made character the sum value of skills counted together (excluding rank) can be 70 at the highest, lest a permission is given by moderators. Fancreated characters cannot have a value above 9 unless a permission is given by RPG moderators. Also they are limited to one stat of 9 unless special permission is given. It is possible to achieve better stats by playing but it is not easy and shouldn't be expected to be something automatic. Higher than normal stats come to question only with experienced, proven players. If you want your character to have an ability such as cloaking or ability of escaping Earth's velocity for example, you will have less points than normally to distribute between the stat values. It is also to be noted that your first character can have only one alternative mode. In addition, fan created combiner teams are not allowed to be brought into the RPG. Use of a human, transformer or etc. superheroes/heroines, ghosts and other powerful entities also need permission from RPG moderators!

Here's a speed helper of sorts for characters that can fly in alt. mode.

Decepticon flying ability in robot mode allow approximately speeds from 100 mph to 300 mph depending on their design with the seekers being even able to reach speed of sound in robot mode. This robot mode flight however, is not the stat to be given for the speed indicates your character's alt.mode speed.

10 - Character is fast enough to reach escape velocity and can travel in space with extremely high speeds
9 - Speeds from Mach 3 to the limit gaining of escape velocity.
8 - Mach 2 to Mach 2.9
7 - Mach 1 to Mach 1.9
6 - Flying speeds from Mach 0.5 (~370 mph) to Mach 0.9
5 - Speeds from 250 mph to Mach 0.5
4 - Speeds from 150 mph to 249 mph
3 - 100 mph to 149 mph
2 - 60 mph to 99 mph
1 - Speeds less than 60 mph

And here's a speed helper for ground and seabound characters that can't fly in alt. mode.

10 - Speeds higher than 500 mph.
9 - Speeds from 300 mph to 500 mph.
8 - From 250 mph to 299 mph.
7 - From 200 mph to 249 mph.
6 - Speeds from 150 mph to 199 mph.
5 - Speeds from 100 mph to 149 mph.
4 - Speeds from 60 mph to 99 mph.
3 - 40 mph to 59 mph.
2 - 20 mph to 49 mph.
1 - Speeds less than 20 mph.

When this part is done, post the character applications to the Post your NEW character applications here! thread where it will be decided by RPG Moderators whether or not your character is allowed. If there is nothing wrong with your character, the next part is to bring him/her into the game.

There are several things to remember however... 1) First you must read through the RPG rules and guidelines and respect them. We have put much of time and effort to this game so don't ruin it from us and other players. 2) Then read the summary topic for what has happened before and proceed to study the currently running topics. It is impossible for the RPG staff to brief every new poster what has happened before. We are only humans as well. Understand that not everyone who applies will be successful. Lastly, DO NOT POST ON BOARD WITH YOUR CHARACTER BEFORE THE CHARACTER HAS BEEN APPROVED in the Post your NEW character applications here! thread.

Also to be noted: RPG moderators generally observe how one plays for a while before allowing a player to bring in characters that exceed the sum of 70 stat points. This is because there has been trouble with new/unexperienced players bringing in powerful characters in the past. Both your rank, additional transformations and how powerful your character can be, depend on how do you roleplay.

The following special abilities cost you ability points: (Unless RPG moderators decide otherwise)

Shield Generator -> (-8) Average. The negative bonus here depends the strength of the force field.
Teleportation -> (-15) And a good explanation why your character should have this ability.
Triple Changer -> Fanmade Triplechangers are not allowed at this point.
Quad Changer -> Fanmade Quadchangers are not allowed at this point.
Six Changer -> Fanmade Sixchangers are not allowed at this point.
Robot mode flight ability -> (-4 for Autobots, no penalty to Decepticons)
Cloaking Device/Invisibility -> (from -6 to -12)
Weapons we determine to be more than typical -> (Penalty is variable)
Radar/Sonar -> (-2 each) All transformers have a limited radar. This is about long range ones.
Above average sensory, includes audio, visual, touch, smell -> (Penalty is variable)
EMP weapons -> (-5) (variable depending on the power of the weapon)
Nontypical offensive and defensive abilities -> (Penalty is variable)
Targetmasters -> Fanmade Targetmasters are not allowed at this point.
Headmasters -> Fanmade Headmasters are not allowed at this point.
Powermasters -> Fanmade Powermasters are not allowed at this point.
Pretenders -> Fanmade Pretenders are not allowed at this point.
Combiners -> Fanmade Combiners are not allowed at this point.
Ability to create multiple holograms or large scale holograms (á la Hound) -> (-6)
Being able to reach the escape velocity from Earth's gravity field -> (-5)

This has been published to give some kind of a direction when it comes to height of Transformers in this RPG setting. Keep in mind that Starscream is larger than regular sized TF at 31 feet - the average height being roughly 25 feet. The heights are in feet, you can transfer the height to meters by using the following formula; ft x 0,305. Just for clearness sake, 72 ft = ~22,0 m, 66 ft = 20,1 m, 60 ft = 18,3 m, 54 ft = 16,4 m, 48 ft = 14,6 m, 42 ft = 12,8 m, 36 ft = ~11,0 m, 30 ft = 9,1 m, 24 ft = 7,3 m, 18 ft = 5,5 m, 12 ft = 3,6 m, 6 ft = 1,83 m.

Profile:
A calm and calculated warrior who shows loyalty to he who pays the most. He believes that he was created to destroy all creatures, big or small. He gained consciousness only three years ago and ever since he has challenged everyone he met. Learning how to control his ability to create hologram images of himself on a grand scale has made him even more of a threat and gives him the needed confidence to take on any opponent. He is currently acting as a bounty hunter, with hopes that he will find a powerful opponent.

Abilities:
He can move extremely fast due to his alt. mode, this makes him able to perform what he calls “Blitz Strikes”, which are attacks that involve his opponent not even being able too see him. His hologram projector makes it easier to dispose of his foes, allowing him to keep hidden in plain sight.

Weaknesses:
Malice suffers from a superiority complex, he believes that he has no equal and that he can never find a worthy opponent. He also has problems with ranged combat, his aiming is poor and his lasers barely can pierce a Transformer's shell.

Physical Description:
Despite his dark disposition, he is ironically colored yellow. He carries his spear in a small warp compactor on his wrists.(I was inspired by Ultraviolet)

Some Random Battlefield

A shadow walks across a wasteland on an empty battlefield, observing the damage done. A struggling mech starts crawling towards the shadow, hoping that it will show mercy upon the poor creature. But his attempts will be futile. The mercy this beast gives is something that I would wish upon on no one. The shadow looks down upon the straggler, observing its ripped out circuitry, gazing upon its torn shell of a body. The shadow brandished an energon spear, its red visor glowing with insanity. The spear is sent through the mech’s head, killing it instantly. This beast is merciless, this beast is Malice!

Profile:
Skywatch is still a young robot, yet understands why this war must be fought. He doesn’t like it, and longs to have his former transport sled form restored. That longing does not prevent him from performing his duty to keep the skies clear of Seekers and their ilk.

He is fairly friendly and idealistic, almost naïve. Not surprising considering he is not yet a full cycle old in his current form. He is still unsure of his capabilities, if given the chance to think on things, but those that have looked him over think he will be fine once he fully integrates into his new function. He is not stupid however; he is aware what war is, having been an incidental casualty already.

Skywatch is inexperienced and should be partnered with a steady hand.

Historical Notes:
Skywatch began his life as a commercial transport sled. As a domestic model, he felt the usual affinity to the Autobots, and was thinking about joining them when the Cybertronian wars broke out. Being technically unaligned at that time did not prevent him from becoming a casualty of Decepticon Seekers looking to blow things up. Things like him. Skywatch was severely damaged and rendered largely non-functional. That was then. With the Autobots needing someone to help keep the skies clear of the evil Decepticons, he has been run through the Autobots repair system and emerged in his current form. Skywatch is unsure about his role and new function.


Abilities:
Enhanced detection and tracking system – links to orbital satellite systems, observation stations on the factory moons, or any other available observational source to get a clear view of his area. With the breadth of sensors available, has a reasonable chance of neutralizing stealth/cloaking systems. If he is in an area where there are no satellites to link to, this has only true line of sight ability. Allows for long range reconnaissance, but functions poorly while on the move in that mode. Best used when not moving quickly (under 100 kph/60 MPH)

Hover system is cybertronian gravitic system. Limited flight ceiling height (15 meters), speed caps out at 350 MPH (no points, flavor text only, speed stat accounts for this)

Weapons:
Vehicle mode
Multi-mission interceptor missiles: missiles with dial-a-payload. Can be used as high-speed anti-air intercept missiles, or as direct-fire anti-armor missiles (with slightly lower effectiveness). Can also be used as torpedoes…though that isn’t recommended due to lack of active guidance.
Range: 78 miles/125 KM (note: same range as modern Air defense missiles)
Limit of 12 (6 per missile pod)

Ion Pulse Cannons: energy bolts that cause a massive disruption of shield and control systems. Minimal physical damage. Causes massive convulsions/seizures that have a chance of lingering for days (think tazer, but with more…duration.) Extremely effective against shield and computerized systems, due to the imbalance of energies imparted.
Range: 2 miles/3 km. effectiveness begins dropping at 1.5 miles, and falls quickly after
2 per pod

Bot mode
4 missile box launcher – as Multi-mission interceptor missiles, but with 4 missiles ready instead of 12

Ion Tribarrel: as Ion Pulse Cannons, but cross linked. Higher physical damage, on par with standard Autobot weapons, with the same shield/control system effects.




Weaknesses:
Has trouble turning at high speeds in vehicle mode
Has hard time righting himself in vehicle mode if overturned
Limited ammunition for missiles
Tends to watch too much satellite TV where available




Possible Sample Post:
“Simulation Complete”. At the announcement the world faded back to the bare walls of the training complex. Skywatch shifted from his vehicle mode and hopped off the support cradle “I got him!” he crowed to the instructor, looking pleased with himself.

“Did you?” The mild response a bit surprising.

“Of course I got him!” Skywatch retorted “No way could I miss with that barrage!”
The instructor snorted “I see. Let’s take a closer look at that and see if you did it this time, shall we?” he moved over to another panel and set up the replay “Begin. “
A small rectangular vehicle with smaller boxes jutting from either side of the rear deck was skimming along a riverbed, spay rooster tailing from the rear. “You objective in this exercise was to secure the” the view zoomed out from the vehicle on display to a topographic map “secure river valley from aerial intrusion.” Another zoom out to show the valley “You chose to use the river itself as a site. Why?”

“Satellite showed only 2 possible ways through the valley” Skywatch tone was clear that he thought that a stupid question “along this line” his fingers sketched a line into the display “by staying on the river I could use my mobility to hit and move”

“Very good” the instructor agreed “What else?”

“I couldn’t handle the hill slopes that well” Groused the younger robot.

“Everyone needs to know their weaknesses as well as their strengths Skywatch . You aren’t the only one to have them.” The instructor chided him gently. “Attacking force was spotted ten minutes earlier, giving you advance warning. Your response?”

“I connected to the satellite to confirm their path and set up for launch.”

“Who were your targets?”

“The Seekers of course!”

“Ah yes, the seekers. Very good” Skywatch got a cold trickle at the tone. He had missed something again.

“I moved to the edge of the foliage cover along the river and set up my first sot. Two missiles, 2 seconds apart. Clean launch” the view slipped back to the vehicle firing ” and the second missile hit”

“Two missiles for one Seeker? A bit extravagant, or a bit insulting…”

“Neither. The first was a decoy. All it was supposed to do was drive the Seeker down into”

“Into the second missile where it couldn’t dodge so easily. Not bad….not bad” the instructor finished

Skywatch beamed.

“Then you ran.”

Skywatch stopped beaming “Yes I did. The last thing I want is to be reset again by those Spark-lost drones. I moved to another position further down the valley”

“So you did” the figures in the display moved in time to the narrative” That kept you from being hit by their counter attack” Two of the four remaining jets transformed and swooped down to the rivers surface. The slablike vehicles turret rotated to face the rear and small angry red bolts spat out at the pursuers. One went down in a giant spray as it went into convulsions “Your accuracy needs some work, or do you have a secret store of Energon?”

Skywatch grumped silently ‘I’m not a created combat model you old Junkion’

“Still one down, the other you had to use another missile on.”

“It worked!” Skywatch protested

“Yes it did, I wasn’t complaining young man, merely observing the events. That left two.”

“One disengaged. Pulled up and left out of the valley. I ignored it and launched everything at the last one.”

“Stupid.”

“EX-cuse me? What do you mean ‘stupid’?”

“Look the word up if you don’t know it. Look” the instructor pointed at the screen again “the missiles were dead on. You got him. Congratulations. You are also so dead…again.”

“What? No way!”

“Way!” the instructor disagreed firmly “You were so busy being trigger-happy that you didn’t see the last Decepticon blow you clear to Primus!”

On the display, a plane blinked into being, moving low and fast, launching four missiles at the hovering craft. The explosion made clear what would have happened “My original question stands: Who were your targets?”

“B-but-“

“You have the ability to look further out than most Skywatch ” The instructor continued remorselessly “..but if you don’t use it properly, that advantage is wasted! How do I make that any clearer? Work on that tonight. We’ll run this again tomorrow”. With that he turned and walked out without waiting for a response, leaving Skywatch staring at the display.

On screen the colors of Skywarp were clear.

Special Abilities:Sonic booms emit from his hands on demand,he can shoot electric bolts from his hands which scratch the main proccesors of the target rendering them temporarily insane(in rare cases,sane,if the target is already insane)

Profile:Like his name would suggest, he is mentally unsound. With Soundwave off on important missions and him being very useful most of the time,it was a bright idea to make a replica of him. Rumble and Frenzy,who weren't that particularly smart,directed the project and due to their lack of expertise,the replica's programming was ridden with glitches,not to mention they had accidently scratched the disc with his programming file on it. The replica was built in a rush off Rumble and Frenzy's plans,and cosmetically it looked exactly like Soundwave(besides the orange color in place of Wave's blue),but it was very psychotic and unstable and often would go on intelligent and witty rants,scattered with nonsense,about anything he could think off and had some powers that he shouldn't logically have as a replica of Soundwave. Occasionally the clone would rename itself or claim to be a messiah or savior. Mentally,it was "UnSound" and so it was named. The reason he wasn't scrapped was because he had immense intelligence(which he didn't often use),could still function as Communications as Soundwave did,and had an incredible knack for demolitions(of both the explosive and hand-to-hand combat encounter kind.).
Abilities:Not much above average. I went over all his special abilities earlier. No external fuel-tanks.
Sample Post: UnSound sat in the corner and stared at the wall for hours. "So blank. So calm. So fresh.",He mused. He wondered exactly why he was here and what he was doing.

"Doing? Nothing. Can you solve the other mystery along with Encyclopedia Brown? Woah! What? Where'd that one come from? I need to get out more.",Get out. That phrase clicked something in his head.

"Get out! Yes,that's it! I would like to get out.",Unsound put a finger on his chin to think and hunched over,looking innocent and childish.

"I want to get out because right now I'm.....FRrrZzzt!.....uh....in!",That was a glitch,he knew that,but back where he was,he knew he wanted to get out because he was in,but what was he in and how would he get out? How'd he get in for that matter.

"Think I got it now. I'm in Decepticon Detention Block Beta F-1-4,cell number 3-6-8-2. Now.....why? Hmm...detention block,huh? I must of done something....Oh Yeah! I remember,I backed up the pipeing with someone's face. Not my fault. He was a jerk. I'd do it again.",Now he most of it figured out,last question:how do I get out? As he pondered,he heard something at the wall,a clicking and tapping noise. Just then the wall disappared,revealing some Decepticon he didn't know.

"THE WALL!!!! WHERE IS IT??!!!",UnSound screamed in panic and started choking the person.

"Hey,hey,hey! Chill the hell out,man! That's just one of the defragmenting doors we put on the cells. Your three days is up,that's all. You can go.",Said the person. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go.,The word repeated in his head.

"YES! YEAH! SCORE! ALRIGHT! TUBULAR! EXCELLENT! PARTY ON GARF!",UnSound did an unsettling victory dance,yelling random victory cries. After this travesty,he scooted his bottom on the floor like one of those "Earth Dogs" all the way down the hall and out the door. Stepping through the door way he threw his arms in the air and added,"Hallejuiah! I'm free at last! Free at last! Thank God,I'm free at last!"

The guard just looked on,disturbed, and pondered,"Who's Garf?"

Height: 27 feet tall or 8.2 meters

Profile: Blackfire really doesn’t get along with anybody or care if they want to get to know them. He was part of a patrol squadron many years ago on an Autobot research colony. This colony was attacked in a Decepticon raid and Blackfire saw his entire squadron torn to pieces and the remaining few tortured to insanity before being put to death themselves (Blackfire never heard any questions asked to the prisoners, they were just randomly tortured). The only reason Blackfire survived is that an Autobot rescue party arrived in time before he was to be tortured. When he wanted to go after the Decepticons to enact his revenge he was confined by the Autobots and told that they would not stoop to the Decepticons level. After that, Blackfire left the Autobots and became a mercenary. He has sworn to painfully destroy all Decepticons involved in the slaughter of his squadron and whomever was involved in the missions planning.

Abilities: Blackfire’s true speed is yet to be determined as he just cares about going fast enough to get the job done. His rage is completely determined by how fast he is going. Above Mach 2 his fuel consumption is three times that of normal considering his systems. At Mach 2 and below his range is 3,000 miles, above that 1,000 miles. His weapons are pretty much straight forward. His main weapon is a long range, high powered, sniper rifle with multi format scope (night, electronic emissions, and heat signature). This is his most powerful weapon and has a 5 shot capacity before needing to be reloaded (takes 1 minute to reload and cool off). His secondary weapon is a short range semi-automatic pistol that he uses for close quarter combat and to finish off anyone strong enough to survive his sniper shot. The pistol has a 12 shot capacity and a short recharge time. His last weapon is an energon dagger. He uses this for extremely close combat and when quiet is a must. The dagger emits a short (3 foot) pure energon blade that can slice through almost anything. The blade only has a 30 minute use period before it needs to be shut off or it will overheat and melt itself. It requires 1 hour for each 5 minutes used after the first 10 (takes 10 minutes to reach full heat soak). Blackfire has a limited stealth/cloaking ability. When in jet mode he is invisible to radar and tracking (though still physically visible) and when he is in both jet and robot mode he can use his harmonic dampeners to cancel out any sound he makes which aides him in his missions. He has very little of the Autobot morality left and will do about anything to see his revenge carried out.

Weaknesses: Blackfire has an extreme hatred for certain Decepticons. He can be manipulated because of this hatred. It blinds him to certain things. He is not good in group combat as all of his experience and training is in stealth and one on one or small group melee. He prefers to kill from afar.

Sample Post:
The young Autobot walked up to Blackfire and noticed the scarred out Autobot marker on his left shoulder. It is quite apparent that no battle caused the scars.
Young Autobot- You know, we need every bit of help possible to defeat the Decepticons. Autobots are dying every day and I know you hate the Decepti-creeps as much as we all do. Why don’t you come back and help us?
Blackfire- Prime made it clear to me a long time ago that Im not going to get what I want with the Autobots. You sit high on your morality while all your friends and comrades are slaughtered around you.
Young Autobot- But morality is what sets us apart from the Decepticons. If you aren’t with us then you are against us.
Blackfire- That dogmatic thinking of yours is worthless and will get you killed. Listen pipsqueak, if you or any of your high and mighty Autobot friends get in my way, I will have no problem carving a hole through you to get to my target. Go play war somewhere else, I have heard about as much of your garbage as I can take for one day.

Profile: Brewer is an Autobot who questions a lot about life. He often wonders what has its purpose and why. His mind wanders off often when alone, and sometimes even during battles. Brewer is a complete daydreamer and a trustworthy ally, even when he goes off into la-la land. Often doing his ideal job, the mech bravely goes into battle in search of injured or stasis locked Autobots and takes them back to the medical facilities where they can be repaired. Even though Brewer doesn’t have much firepower, his endurance makes up for it, keep himself and the “client” protected for as long as needed.

Appearance: In robot mode, Brewer is mostly a hunter green on his armor, and gray in his basic body structures (arms, legs, face, hands, etc.). The front section of his jeep mode (front wheels, hood, and engine) is split into his arms, while the cockpit of the vehicle forms his back, and the trunk and back wheels create his legs. He’s a simple transformation, yet still complicated, considering his back wheels latch on to his hips, held in place by retractable and extractable arms of a sort that bring the wheels from the legs to his hips and vise versa. (Same for the wheels on his shoulders)

Weaknesses: The misunderstanding of the long-waged war bothers Brewer much more than one would notice. He hides a lot of his feelings about the whole matter within himself, knowing that there isn’t really anything he can do but continue trying to aid in settling the war. His habit of losing himself to pondering within his imaginative mind can sometimes get Brewer into much trouble with lack of information gained during meetings or knowing what he’s heading into in the middle of battlefields.

Sample Post: “Hang on, buddy!” Brewer recklessly drove across the battlefields as he carried a highly damaged passenger in his seats. He couldn’t let this one go - not now, not ever. This ally was just too important to him.
The explosions nearly lifted the Jeep off of the ground and sent flying for a good bit, but they didn’t. Instead, the ride was rough and treacherous, sending rubble flying everywhere and about, hitting him pretty well. Some of the bombs and laser fire hit so close, he took a good bit of damage, but nothing would stop him - Brewer wouldn’t allow it. His interestingly colored friend groaned and grunted with each painful bounce, trying not to scream in agony from the major injury he really had - his arm almost completely blown off, hanging on by just a wire or two, and his chest was well opened, a missile hitting him at a very close range when he was taking cover behind whatever the booming graveyard had to offer.
It wasn’t long until Brewer made it to the Medical Facilities and practically begged for someone to take the passenger into the rooms pronto. “I have an emergency here! 97% damage to this one! Come on!”
At that, two Med. Bots ran out with a stretcher and rushed the injured mechanoid inside, Brewer transforming and chasing after them. He stood by as close as he could, hoping that there weren’t any other calls for him to attend to at least until he knew this one was going to make it through. “Orchid, stay functioning. I’ll bring you back to life and kill you again if you die on me,” he said rather loud enough for his long-term buddy to hear.
A grunt escaped the apparently named Orchid as two medics crowded over him, “When did you learn how to build sparks? Last time I checked, you weren’t Primus.” Then a faint chuckle hissed from his vocal speaker and his optics dimmed out, Orchid’s whole system finally giving out and settling into stasis lock.
“I’d find a way,” Brewer sighed and took a seat, carefully watching the repairs at work. He knew that Orchid would be all right, now. He hoped Orchid would be all right. The bot was in professional hands, after all. Another sigh escaped him and the green mech looked to the doors leading outside the facilities. Brewer couldn’t wait until everything was finally at peace again. He dreamt of a shining planet and all its glory, everyone on Cybertron laughing and getting along, children once again frolicking as joyfully as they use to. That past was a flicker, but Brewer knew one day it’d be a long future.

Profile: Forte is a femme bot who has been places throughout the war. Her former commander known as Rafter was killed in an accident in moon base one some many cycles ago, giving Forte a bad reputation toward other Autobots. The accident in that event was a tragic happening of Forte's temper loss. In the end, she was the one who caused Rafter's death in a brutal and gorey fall. Forte looks upon life as having far too much pity for her in cause of her size. She thinks everyone is going easy on her for what may seem as a fatal flaw to her form. With such thoughts programed into her mind, she now looses sanity and goes unconscious, yet functional when in her rampage. Once Forte has lost all patience with whatever may trigger her anger, she is practically unstopable and extremely deadly to anyone who stands in her way.
On the other hand, Forte is usually the kind and thoughtful character that will fight for the Autobot honor 'til her death. Her loyalty to the Autobots is one that is questionable with her temper glitch, but she is a worthy soldier that has stuck along with her allies for many centuries through the thickest of missions.

Appearance: Her outter armor is a shade of lavendar, being placed on her lower arms, shins, and knees. Her alternate mode's doors are placed over her shoulders as secondary armor, and her engine chamber - along with her Null-ray rifle - are on her back, also where her robot mode's head folds into. Forte's inner armor - where her alt. mode's pieces aren't - is a light grey. Her red optics show the ironicy of her innocent and childlike appearance and femine figure. Her helmet gives a shape that represents something similar to a human's short hair. Her red Autobot symbol is branded on her right door/shoulder.
Abilities: Forte has the ability of a Bezerker, multiplying her physical strength to great heights. In the cause of a glitch in her system from one nearly fatal battle, she now has no control over who she attacks in her Bezerker mode. In alt. mode, she can freeze enemies in their tracks with the Null-ray rifle in under her hood. This rifle can also flip out of her back when in robot mode. Her grenade launcher can reach great distances of 2 miles, and combining this with her skillful aim, she his deadly even out of Bezerker mode. This launcher also sends out a powerful atom explosion that spreads in the range of 20 meters. Her two energon pistols serve as main weapons, making them the first thing for her to pull out when in battle. These pistols do a fair amount of damage, but can only weaken the enemy, not destroy it.

Weaknesses: Out of all that Forte can do, her weakness is nothing more than her strength. As said, in her Bezerker mode, she has no control of who she attacks. In result, Forte may attack her own allies. Also, in many occasions of when her Bezerker mode levels reach too high, Forte falls completely unconscious, and possibly even in stasis lock.

Sample Post:

A very small sized fembot, not nearly as short as a Minibot, but not tall enough to be considered normal, shied away across the room as the roll call was taking place. She didn’t want to bump into anyone, but surely wanted to keep everything acknowledged.
Forte, the femme, pulled up a fist of knuckles and pressed them to her lips in nervousness as she watched the braver Autobots step up when their names were called. She couldn’t understand how they could just hide all their worries when in front of the higher ranked commanders. But none of that could be thought over, for her name was then expressed.
“Forte,” called the group leader.
This sudden sound of her name caused Forte to jump. She looked over to the mech whom had acknowledged her name and pressed her knuckles even harder to her mouth. With much hesitation, the femme stepped forward and made her way to the front of the group.
“Forte,” the mech looked around and then down at the lavender form that was much small than himself, “Ah, there you are. Head for the Training Facilities for practice and your new group leader will take it from there.”
“Y..yes, sir,” Forte mumbled from behind her fist, and quickly traveled out of the room and to her commanded destination.
Hopefully the other mechanoids would be a little less intimidating to her, maybe they were all noobies. Forte hoped so, that way, she wouldn’t have to worry about too much entertainment about her height. Primus, she hated when someone picked about her height - it almost made her want to do something she never thought was possible for a Transformer like herself. But maybe some things were possible.

Profile: Archaea comes from the city of Daicronus, and it’s Autobot Institute of Science. She is highly dedicated to her scientific work, discovering Cybertrons past. She believes in the historical preservation of all artifacts and their relevance to today. She is staunch in her work and decries any destruction to Archaeological sites and ruins.
To better aide her in her work, her body was given advanced analytical and sensory devices. She uses these to track, locate, dig, analyze and record data to further her documentations. Although she is not a very brave bot in the face of combat, if combat harms a site, she becomes infuriated. To this end she’d rather surrender than see a ruin destroyed. Her vast intellect is useful to the Autobots cause. Her analytical and scientific methods have, led to the discovery and capturing of Decepticon relics.


Abilities: Archaea’s Protoform was gifted at creation. Her chassis contains some of the most advanced sensory and data collection technology on the planet. She possesses a Genius level intellect and a fast analytical mind. Her processing ability is near Technobot efficiency. A crystal Light Matrix storage bank allows for the storage of vast quantities of data. Her body is nearly immune to corrosives, which helps during a wide variety of digs.
Her right arm is a handless sensory appendage containing her sensory suite. Some of the sensors contained in the arm can detect energy, analyze chemical composition, carbon date, use various spectrometers, photometers, laser image scanning/mapping, etc. It also contains a holographic generator to show artifact profiles.
Her left arm is her manipulator arm and contains a variety of Archaeological tools, such as sifters, screens, augers, micro trowels, storage compartments etc. Her tensile ability is sensitive and she can even pick of delicate objects like eggs.
Her head contains advanced Optics providing Microscopic and Telescopic vision. She also has UV, Infrared, and Low Light optics. She also has a Large capacity for language translation. 
  In vehicle mode she can reach a top speed of 65mph, while in robot mode she "rolls" or "skates" across the ground on her wheeled feet, at up to 25 mph. 


Weaknesses: Archaea is not built for combat. She is extremely weak physically and is easily overpowered. Her frame isn’t strong or durable making her vulnerable to enemy attacks. She is slow in vehicle mode compared to other Transformers. Her “feet” are vulnerable to weapon blasts which can leave her immobile. She lacks offensive and defensive power, though at times she will use a standard issue pistol for stunning attacks. In combat she is not very brave unless a ruin is in danger.

To know the past...
Archaea stood on the twisted metal of the ruins of Daicronus her home city. Daicronus had been destroyed years before by a massive upheaval of plasma energy. Rumor was that a Decepticon had somehow reignited old engines in the far depths of Cybertron. That rumor was not her concern here today. Her only concern was the recovery of a set of Data plate artifacts said to reside in the hall of records. After getting permission to go to Daicronus, from the Autobot Science council, she made her way there. It took nearly Two Astrocycle, to get there from Iacon. She had no worry for Decepticon patrols; they rarely were interested in recovering Artifacts of peace. If the Artifact didn’t make something go “BOOM!” they generally left it alone.
Her advanced optics came to life as she used telescopic sensors to scan the ruins. Geo-mapping placed the hall within the western most breech submerged under some destroyed towers. The site of her home saddened her some. This wasn’t her typical Archaeological site dig. This was her reclaiming a part of the place she called home. Ruined domes and tall spires littered the cyber-scape, buildings of learning and great museums fell into shambles below her wheeled feet. She skated down an embankment and used her sensor arm to scan for readings of the last known data signature of the halls doorway.
She skated over the uneven terrain until she saw the silvery blue mass of metal poking from the rubble. The hall lay beneath her. She quickly transformed into her exploratory vehicle mode to make the descent easier. Her small frame wasn’t hindered from the blocked and destroyed passageways of the hall. She had however come to an area where she could not pass easily. A small manipulator arm emerged from her left side, with a cutting torch at its tip. She switched to Low light mode and released several survey bots to scatter in different directions. While they searched about she began to cut the beam that blocked her, daydreaming about her home.
She pulled imagery from her data tracks, and replayed them with the clarity, only a transformer with her Crystal Light Matrix could. She remembered her first day at the Science Academy, where she began to study the various sciences. She had taken a liking to Cybertronian Anthropology and specialized in Archaeology. She knew that for Cybertron to grow she needed to learn its past. She had spent several Vorns learning not only Cybertronian history, but those of local alien species. Her onboard computer had switched off the torch as the cutting was completed.
Transforming she was able to lift the beam away from her path, not the strongest transformer but on digs she did fine. She rolled slowly down the dark passageways of the Hall of Records. Her gray white frame reflecting the blue lights her body sensors gave off. She passed room after room looking for one in particular. Down a forward passage she saw two of her survey bots prodding a doorway opening trying to squeeze thru.
“Have they found it?” she wondered, quickening her pace she made it to the door and forced it open, her other survey bots returned with various items, but not exactly what she was looking for.
This room however was what she needed. One tiny red light in a corner near some computers made her spark shine a little brighter. But she needed power. For several Megacycles she converted ten survey bots into redundant power relays. Using her own supply of energon as the catalyst, she provided the power they needed to access the rooms’ backup generators. As lights and devices whirled slowly to life her optics grew hopeful. Moving over to the rooms’ central computer, she inputted the access codes given to her by the council.
“Welcome to the Daicronus central computer for records, Input a query please!” it read on the screen.
1-3-4-7-Archaea-A, she entered.
“Processing, please stand by………….record found……data plate released below, input a query please.”
“By the eyes of Primus, I’ve recovered them” she sighed in joy. A circular door on her torso opened revealing a slot for direct input She put the crystalline data plates into them. They began to extract the files onto her memory matrix.
“Archaea…Autobot…Body type: Protoform…Chassis: Light…Manufacture date:……..”
Archaea relaxed happily as her Birth records were uploaded into to her mind. Most Transformers don’t care to remember when they came online, just that they did, But Archaea is an Archaeologist. To them the past is all that matters sometimes.

Profile: There are those that stick to the roads well-traveled, and those who blaze new trails in the skies. But Deckplate doesn’t fit into either category; being fed up with the tight confines of cities and their roadways, he’s always been in love with the seas. Ever since arriving on Earth to augment Autobot sea forces, he’s been in awe at the majesty of the deep and its seemingly never-ending horizon. He feels most content when sailing on the oceans, and is often disgruntled when stuck “on shore”. Yet, he is always willing to assist his compatriots in the fight against the Decepticons, be it land or sea.

Abilities: Deckplate is capable of reaching speeds of up to 146 miles per hour at-sea for ten hours without refueling, and when transformed, can easily reach 62 miles per hour. His RADAR and SONAR systems allow him to detect incoming airborne, surface and undersea threats out to a range of about fifty miles, provided the target moves slow enough to easily register. His magnetic-inducer shell launchers are capable of hitting targets as far away as 25 miles within thirty seconds of firing, and he is a fairly good shot with his laser rifle when he’s stuck ashore.

In tactical situations, Deckplate easily lends himself to a command-and-control role, given his detection and ranging equipment. He makes only informed decisions, and does his best to always have a “plan B” ready to go.

Weaknesses: As a turbofan-equipped hydrofoil, Deckplate is mostly above the water; a sneak attack from below can easily disrupt his SONAR equipment. He tends to navigate blindly, focusing solely on his SONAR and RADAR, leaving him open to just about anything that can outpace his processors. He is bound-to-the-book, and will never attack when hostages are at risk.

“Finally, something new for a change,” Deckplate said to himself as the shuttle flying he and his group of fresh Autobot forces glided over the central Pacific Ocean, near the island state of Hawaii. “It’s so... so...”

“Watery.” He turned to see a grizzled, stern warrior ‘bot next to him, sneering at the sight. “I’d rather be back at Iacon, but that’s not likely to happen with the way the war’s been as of late.”

Deckplate shrugged. “Hey, we’ll get our chance soon enough. You’re right – it’s a war. And no one gets to go home outside of two ways – leave and a slag pile.”

“Don’t count on that last one... that’s reserved for those slag-for-brains Decepticons we’re fighting.”

Deckplate smiled a small bit. “I’ll put some energon on that any given...!” He gasped. “Hang on tight, it’s about to get rough!”

“Huh? What’re you talking about?!” Just at that moment, an explosion shook the shuttle, sending it careening down towards the ocean near Pearl Harbor.

“Just hold on; we’ll make it outta here alright?” Deckplate tried to keep his comrade calm. The other nodded in reply just as the shuttle made impact. Both of them were sent flying out in different directions along with their fair share of wreckage.

By the time Deckplate came to, he was on a deserted beach, but could find nothing. No one landed near him, nor within ten miles. “What in the name of Primus...?” was all he could say. “How am I going to reach the landing site now?”

As if luck were on his side finally, a military-issue hydrofoil appeared on RADAR, approaching his position. He took a few passing glances at his surroundings and found a mostly intact scanner and reformatter assembly. After spending the better part of three minutes getting the scanner to function, the hydrofoil appeared in sight. He could make out crewmen getting out of the craft and manning its exterior brandishing all manner of small arms. One in particular carried only a megaphone as the craft slowed to a halt a few hundred feet away; this one was no doubt the captain. “Unknown, state your identity and purpose for being here,” the captain announced.

“Deckplate, sent here to support Autobot forces on this planet. And, as you no doubt know, I’m currently stranded in Primus-knows-where.”

The captain turned to another crewman, then turned back a few seconds later. “How are you stranded? Are you a land-bot, or are you unable to transform?”

“Wasn’t yet assigned a vehicle mode. It wouldn’t have happened until I got to my duty station.”

The capitain shook his head slowly. “Is there any way you can adapt yourself to cope with the sea? If you can, we’ll escort you out.”

Deckplate grinned. “I’ll need to scan your ship, then. Is that permissible?”

“Certainly, son,” the captain replied. “Just make it snappy, lest someone think we’re skating off out here.”

“Yessir,” Deckplate responded, activating the scanner. A sensor wave washed over the ship, scanning its exact design and feeding it directly to the reformatter, which immediately took to restructuring Deckplate from the ground up. After two full minutes of work, Deckplate’s body closely resembled a sleeker, smoother version of the hydrofoil that had found him. He waded into the water slowly and transformed, so as to not affect the human ship much. “Lead the way,” his voice echoed from his new body, as he and the other hydrofoil turned off and headed to the nearest known Autobot facility...

Profile: An early Autobot defector to the Decepticons, Mal Practice is an excetional - and mercenary - surgeon capable of performing complex operations under battlefield conditions using his own force shield and built in equipment.

In battle he will not fight face to face unless pushed, preferring to nobble the injured in a cowardly way as opposed to fighting them fairly. This lack of ethics spills over into his professional life as a research specialist in Decepticon R&D and Mal Practice has been responsible for many a dark and hideous creation in the past, some that Shockwave himself would have been proud of.

Abilities: As a physician his skills are extensive and his knowledge of transformer maintenance and repair is vast. As a researcher he has studied extensively the processes for integrating various generations of transformer technology together and so is able perform both quick and extensive repairs to models from all era's of the transformer race, from ancient sentinels right through to modern multi-changer designs.

Tough but extremely slow in battle, he is skilled at using concussion grenades to clear a safe zone near the 'patient' for him to work. He also carries paired pistols for emergencies and at extremely close range he is as skilled with an enegon dagger as he is as with a scalpel.

His toughened hide can resist most ballistic and artillery fire and doubles as an impact shield in explosions. As long as he stays sationary he can summon a 50' force field to protect himself and his ward that can last for up to 10 minutes, but drains almost half of his energy in that time.

Weaknesses: His ethics are non existent, he has no bedside manner and will charge extra to use anaestetic. His general lack of speed and inability to fly like other decepticons leads to him being left behind frequently. Like to take 'trophies' from the battlefield, disgusting all but the most hardened of decepticons in the process.

Sample Post:
Mal Loved his work. He had spent hours dissecting and reconstructing the autobot's arm he 'found' on the battlefield. He knew that mechs generally preferred to use CR chambers these days, but there was something so much more satifying and lucrative to fixing things by hand.

The large square doctor tinkered with the limb and held it up to the gigantic surgical light. After staring at it for a few seconds of deep concentration, he attached it back onto the bench and began applying a string of beeping electrodes to it. He then he put some orange safely goggles on, retreated back to a large wall mounted switch and waited.

The rythmic monotone slowly built up in volume and when it reached a specific pitch, Mal violently slammed the switch down with all his might. The lab flashed painfully bright with an energon flash as the ambience stopped with a crash across the whole building...

...?

The emergency power activated almost instantly but Mal knew his commander would be arrive any second to investigate the disruption. Figuring it wasnt worht it, he turned to the bench to hide the evidence. It was now stood upright and was giving him the finger.
He stabbed it with his electroscalpel and it clenched into a fist and swung at him.

"YES!!" he exclaimed, then moved over to a comms console."Mal Practice to Shockwave. The re-animation exercise was a success; 75% effieciency recovery, full remote control established. There is nothing i can do about the paint job, not even i can save that.

"Erm... Grafting techique research permission is now required. Do I have funds and permission to proceed?"

Profile: Swat is a warrior, his array of weapon are powerful for both long range and close range. He makes frends with his fellow teammates. He is serious when he is in battle and when he is not. He obeys his leaders commands and helps whenever it is necessary.

Abilities: Swat's burst mechine gun has dangerous explosive bullets, his ion laser is very powerfull but takes 45 seconds to recharge, his energy blade is deadly but he has to get real close to use it, also his jet pack can only allow him to fly at 65 mph and last 2 min. 50 sec. at a time.

Weaknesses: If you take out his ion cannons he won't be able attack accurately and you can attack his cheast from far range and take out his main power source. Then he would be almost powerless.

Sample Post: Swat drove as fast as he could towards the gun fire. He transformed before he got to the spot and hid behind a rock so he could get battle info. Clearly the Decepticons were winning. The Autobots were getting pushed back. Swat decided to give his fellow Autobots a healping hand. He got out from behind the rock and shot a Decepticon right in the leg with his ion lasers. The Decepticon fell down. Then Swat went in to finish the job.

Profile: Hooligan is just about the biggest practical joker in the entire Decepticon ranks. He’d much rather be back at base laughing it up with his fellow Decepticons than fighting out on the front lines. These laughs, in true Decepticon fashion, are usually at the expense of someone else, however, as he pulls some gag or another on any victims he can. His most notorious prank is by far the time he put sugar in Megatron’s fuel tank. Luckily he was able to talk his way out of an execution.

Abilities: Hooligan’s airframe is capable of accelerating to supersonic speeds quite rapidly, and even performing fairly tight maneuvers at such high speeds. Unfortunately for Hooligan, and fortunately for the Autobots, he doesn’t possess the skill or courage to use his form to even half of its potential.

Weaknesses: Doesn’t always think things through very well, particularly with who he targets with his pranks. Many a time he’s been inches away from a quick and painful death at the hands of another Decepticon because he didn’t know when his jokes had gone too far. He’s also not very brave in the face of death, and tends to hang back in battle and keep away from any big firefights.

“Long Haul, ol’ buddy, ol’ pal!” The orange Cyberjet walked up to the Constructicon and draped his left arm across the dump truck’s shoulders. “I wanted to thank you for that paint bomb you brought in with the last supply shipment.” If Hooligan actually had a mouth, his voice sounded as if he would have been grinning audio receptor-to-audio receptor.

“And be sure to bring me any more you can get. I’ve got a few more ideas for those little beauties…” He trailed off for a moment with a chuckle. “Oh, you should’ve been there. Soundwave’s going to be cleaning the paint out of his chest compartment for weeks. Rumble and Frenzy were still laughing their servos out when I left.”
Hooligan was about to invite Long Haul to share a bottle of oil; this deserved a toast, after all; when something caught his attention. He could see a very angry – and very pink – Ravage coming around the corner further down the hall.

Profile: In the many years on Cybertron whilst the war was still in it’s infancy, Psychout was one of the keys to Megatron’s psychological dominance of the non-combatant regions. Using his power to breed fear and terror into those who were not informed enough to counter the propaganda, the expert in hatred and paranoia could turn a peaceful safe-region into a chaotic and violent wasteland ripe for Decepticon picking.

Always viewed as a nasty piece of work, Psychout likes to make people fear him and takes pleasure in watching former comrades fight amongst themselves. Mostly seen as a bully, he uses his ability to remain hidden to his advantage and will spy on anyone if he feels he can use it against them. Cruelly pursuing anyone who abuses him due to his extremely small size he will relentlessly target them and turn all who knew them against the target. Loves to turn people against their brothers and it has been rumoured that whole outposts have fallen through Psychout turning friend against friend with just a few words exchanged.

His affinity for the for the smaller sized Decepticons has led him to an attempt to re-format as a cassette compatible with Soundwave, firstly unsuccessful and locking him away in stasis for centuries, a second more recent attempt finally realised his dream, and he sacrificed his previous canine alt to allow him the extra data storage. Now he and his unethical medical companion, Mal Practice, use their twisted talents in the Decepticon R&D department building newer and more efficient weaponry to bring the Autobots to their knees. He is also well known for his legendary exploits when consuming refined energon and visiting the Cybertronian strip clubs and his playboy lifestyle is in stark contrast to his ambulance partner’s all work and no play ethic.


Abilities: Hologramatic projection up to a distance of 1km away, in robot mode is totally invisible to detection by anything other than standard optics. Also In robot mode, he can transmit and intercept communications by hacking into existing orbital satellites, and his data capacity is humongous enabling him to recall almost any conversation held flawlessly.

His Optical-EMP pistol can shoot a directed beam of radiation that affects the optical circuitry of his foe causing them to be ‘blinded’ for anything up to 4 earth-hours. His shoulder mounted twin stun cannons can stop a large sized (30m approx) transformer in its tracks at 100m range causing it to lose its balance and concentration, but are able to do some serious impact damage at a range closer than 5m. These cannons have a single payload and need to be reloaded manually after each expenditure. Psychout is able to fix them but it is time and energy consuming and much faster if left to Mal Practice.
He also carries a laser cutter and welding equipment for his scientific work, and has enough medical knowledge to be able to patch up most battlefield injuries.

Top speed 30-40 mph running on foot, but this can never be kept up for long, relying on his small side and detection avoidance with his extremely high dexterity to ensure he is not caught. Can fly as robot, but only slowly and with a limited range.

Weaknesses: Psychout likes to spend his whole time messing with peoples heads. This leads his fellow Decepticons to either distrust anything he says or just plain reject him out of disgust. His strength and lack of hand-to-hand combat skills also let him down if he is ever discovered and the fallout of a recent battle has left him prone to attacks of claustrophobia and nightmares of being crushed between two giant faction insignias. This stems from being crushed between two gestalt scale combatants in an epic aerial battle in his past. (He was crushed in between Scow and Superion in the battle for the Nemsis.)

Sample Post:
Engaging his hologram projector and Optical-targetting EMP simultaniously, our hero smashed dramatically through the window, miliplied as he hit the ground and The two Psychout's fled in opposite directions. Alarms still ringing in their audios and scrambling to give chase the Autobots blindly stumbled out after them.

With a sly grin over his shoulder, the first of the two identical cassetticons continued straight on towards the open gate and onto the runway, not caring where he was going. His identical partner leapt off to the left, nearly lost his footing on the ground and creating a cloud of dust in his wake had sprinted for the nearest piece of cover, eventually diving behind a ruined mining hut and dissapearing out of sight. He reviewed his escapade, what a rush! The EMP explosion have knocked out the sentries chances of finding him for more than long enough and any surveilance systems would have seen him depart in two different directions at once and the crashing noise of the blinded autobots as they cannoned off one another in the confusion was worth the effort in itself.

It was a good half an hour before the real Psychout decided he was no longer being chased, switched off his hologram projector and relaxed, he had chosen the direct path out of town and it has worked. He sat up against the rubble of a statue and began to read back over the information he had just stolen. He was interrupted by an incoming transmisison and he tapped a button on his wrist to open his communcator.
"Ahh Scrapper, just in time, sir. I have aquired the full design schematics. Exchange will be in 8 Breems at the Rusty Nuts energon house. Bring the payment and an encrption override module if you want to be able to read it... Understood? Good. Psychout out."

He paused for a second and made a second call.
Mal, its Psyche, are we secure? Good. What our the our chances of shifting Shockwaves appointment? I just spoke to Scrapper, he is willing to pay more than the cyclops and we really need the energon."
Mal Practice responded with his typical bedside manner;
No, you idiot! Thats when you are meeting that fleshthing, Zarak. Then its Counterpunch, Bludgeon and then Reflector. AND you still have to report to Soundwave eventually."
Psychout thought for a second."I suppose I can cancel my date with flipsides, all she ever talks about is Autobots..?"
"She only likes you for your energon anyway. Ill pass your message onto Shockwave. Dont be late! Mal out."


Psychout checked his internal chronometer as he took off for home. He had 7 breems left to prepare his evidence for 4 scientists, and to convince them that the data he had just stolen was the answer to their power coversion problems... "Perfect, loads of time spare, think ill stop off to refuel on the way home, that couldnt possibly go wrong..."

Profile:
A calm and calculated warrior who shows loyalty to he who pays the most. He believes that he was created to destroy all creatures, big or small. He gained consciousness only three years ago and ever since he has challenged everyone he met. Learning how to control his ability to create hologram images of himself on a grand scale has made him even more of a threat and gives him the needed confidence to take on any opponent. He is currently acting as a bounty hunter, with hopes that he will find a powerful opponent.

Abilities:
He can move extremely fast due to his alt. mode, this makes him able to perform what he calls “Blitz Strikes”, which are attacks that involve his opponent not even being able too see him. His hologram projector makes it easier to dispose of his foes, allowing him to keep hidden in plain sight.

Weaknesses:
Malice suffers from a superiority complex, he believes that he has no equal and that he can never find a worthy opponent. He also has problems with ranged combat, his aiming is poor and his lasers barely can pierce a Transformer's shell.

Physical Description:
Despite his dark disposition, he is ironically colored yellow. He carries his spear in a small warp compactor on his wrists.(I was inspired by Ultraviolet)

Some Random Battlefield

A shadow walks across a wasteland on an empty battlefield, observing the damage done. A struggling mech starts crawling towards the shadow, hoping that it will show mercy upon the poor creature. But his attempts will be futile. The mercy this beast gives is something that I would wish upon on no one. The shadow looks down upon the straggler, observing its ripped out circuitry, gazing upon its torn shell of a body. The shadow brandished an energon spear, its red visor glowing with insanity. The spear is sent through the mech’s head, killing it instantly. This beast is merciless, this beast is Malice!



Alright I've been given permission to look over the fan profiles. I have a different style to approving profiles, but it works.

--First off playing a neutral isn't too easy, and it kinda hard for you to find something to do. Since he has a Decepticon type personality, go ahead and make him a Decepticon. Perhaps he still wants to work for money, but don't demand payment if Megatron gives him an order, or he might find payment in the form of a fusion cannon to the face.

--We usually don't let fan characters be too large in size. 40 feet is too large, especially considering you want the character to be fast. That requires a lot of energy to get something that big moving quickly. So yeah reduce the size, unless you want to drop the other special abilities.

--Your tech specs seem to be in order. I can allow the Hologram generator, but that's basically the only special ability the character can have. No large size, no warp compactor.

--Make the physical description part of the profile.

--The sample post isn't really written in the style in which we play the game. Expand on it, write it in third person and in the past tense. I'd like to see a bit more of a sample of the perspective of the character. Another couple sentences could do it.

Profile:
Skywatch is still a young robot, yet understands why this war must be fought. He doesn’t like it, and longs to have his former transport sled form restored. That longing does not prevent him from performing his duty to keep the skies clear of Seekers and their ilk.

He is fairly friendly and idealistic, almost naïve. Not surprising considering he is not yet a full cycle old in his current form. He is still unsure of his capabilities, if given the chance to think on things, but those that have looked him over think he will be fine once he fully integrates into his new function. He is not stupid however; he is aware what war is, having been an incidental casualty already.

Skywatch is inexperienced and should be partnered with a steady hand.



Abilities:
Enhanced detection and tracking system – links to orbital satellite systems or observation stations on the factory moons to get a clear view of his area. With the breadth of sensors available, has a reasonable chance of neutralizing stealth/cloaking systems. If he is in an area where there are no satellites to link to, this has only true line of sight ability. Allows for long range reconnaissance, but functions poorly while on the move in that mode. Best used when not moving quickly (under 100 kph/60 MPH)

Multi-mission interceptor missiles: missiles with dial-a-payload. Can be used as high-speed anti-air intercept missiles, or as direct-fire anti-armor missiles (with slightly lower effectiveness). Can also be used as torpedoes…though that isn’t recommended due to lack of active guidance.
Range: 30 miles/50 KM (note: shorter ranged than current anti-air missiles)

Ion Pulse Cannons: energy bolts that cause a massive disruption of shield and control systems. Minimal physical damage. Causes massive convulsions/seizures that have a chance of lingering for days (think tazer, but with more…duration.) Extremely effective against shield and computerized systems, due to the imbalance of energies imparted.
Range: 2 miles/3 km. effectiveness begins dropping at 1.5 miles, and falls quickly after
2 per pod

Bot mode
4 missile box launcher – as Multi-mission interceptor missiles, but with 4 missiles ready instead of 12

Ion Tribarrel: as Ion Pulse Cannons, but cross linked. Higher physical damage, on par with standard Autobot weapons, with the same shield/control system effects.

Has trouble turning at high speeds in vehicle mode
Has hard time righting himself in vehicle mode if overturned
Limited ammunition for missiles
Tends to watch too much satellite TV where available


Historical Notes:
Skywatch began his life as a commercial transport sled. As a domestic model, he felt the usual affinity to the Autobots, and was thinking about joining them when the Cybertronian wars broke out. Being technically unaligned at that time did not prevent him from becoming a casualty of Decepticon Seekers looking to blow things up. Things like him. Skywatch was severely damaged and rendered largely non-functional. That was then. With the Autobots needing someone to help keep the skies clear of the evil Decepticons, he has been run through the Autobots repair system and emerged in his current form. Skywatch is unsure about his role and new function.

Possible Sample Post:
“Simulation Complete”. At the announcement the world faded back to the bare walls of the training complex. Skywatch shifted from his vehicle mode and hopped off the support cradle “I got him!” he crowed to the instructor, looking pleased with himself.

“Did you?” The mild response a bit surprising.

“Of course I got him!” Skywatch retorted “No way could I miss with that barrage!”
The instructor snorted “I see. Let’s take a closer look at that and see if you did it this time, shall we?” he moved over to another panel and set up the replay “Begin. “
A small rectangular vehicle with smaller boxes jutting from either side of the rear deck was skimming along a riverbed, spay rooster tailing from the rear. “You objective in this exercise was to secure the” the view zoomed out from the vehicle on display to a topographic map “secure river valley from aerial intrusion.” Another zoom out to show the valley “You chose to use the river itself as a site. Why?”

“Satellite showed only 2 possible ways through the valley” Skywatch tone was clear that he thought that a stupid question “along this line” his fingers sketched a line into the display “by staying on the river I could use my mobility to hit and move”

“Very good” the instructor agreed “What else?”

“I couldn’t handle the hill slopes that well” Groused the younger robot.

“Everyone needs to know their weaknesses as well as their strengths Skywatch . You aren’t the only one to have them.” The instructor chided him gently. “Attacking force was spotted ten minutes earlier, giving you advance warning. Your response?”

“I connected to the satellite to confirm their path and set up for launch.”

“Who were your targets?”

“The Seekers of course!”

“Ah yes, the seekers. Very good” Skywatch got a cold trickle at the tone. He had missed something again.

“I moved to the edge of the foliage cover along the river and set up my first sot. Two missiles, 2 seconds apart. Clean launch” the view slipped back to the vehicle firing ” and the second missile hit”

“Two missiles for one Seeker? A bit extravagant, or a bit insulting…”

“Neither. The first was a decoy. All it was supposed to do was drive the Seeker down into”

“Into the second missile where it couldn’t dodge so easily. Not bad….not bad” the instructor finished

Sky watch beamed.

“Then you ran.”

Skywatch stopped beaming “Yes I did. The last thing I want is to be reset again by those Spark-lost drones. I moved to another position further down the valley”

“So you did” the figures in the display moved in time to the narrative” That kept you from being hit by their counter attack” Two of the four remaining jets transformed and swooped down to the rivers surface. The slablike vehicles turret rotated to face the rear and small angry red bolts spat out at the pursuers. One went down in a giant spray as it went into convulsions “Your accuracy needs some work, or do you have a secret store of Energon?”

Skywatch grumped silently ‘I’m not a created combat model you old Junkion’

“Still one down, the other you had to use another missile on.”

“It worked!” Skywatch protested

“Yes it did, I wasn’t complaining young man, merely observing the events. That left two.”

“One disengaged. Pulled up and left out of the valley. I ignored it and launched everything at the last one.”

“Stupid.”

“EX-cuse me? What do you mean ‘stupid’?”

“Look the word up if you don’t know it. Look” the instructor pointed at the screen again “the missiles were dead on. You got him. Congratulations. You are also so dead…again.”

“What? No way!”

“Way!” the instructor disagreed firmly “You were so busy being trigger-happy that you didn’t see the last Decepticon blow you clear to Primus!”

On the display, a plane blinked into being, moving low and fast, launching four missiles at the hovering craft. The explosion made clear what would have happened “My original question stands: Who were your targets?”

“B-but-“

“You have the ability to look further out than most Skywatch ” The instructor continued remorselessly “..but if you don’t use it properly, that advantage is wasted! How do I make that any clearer? Work on that tonight. We’ll run this again tomorrow”. With that he turned and walked out without waiting for a response, leaving Skywatch staring at the display.

On screen the colors of Skywarp were clear.


--His function of airspace command and control, makes it sound like he's has a command rank. Airspace defense and control might be better.

--You stat total including the special abilities seems to be at 76. 75 is the limit for fan characters. Also I think the firepower he has would bring him up to a firepower rating of 8. I can approve the enhanced detection and tracking system, but the low fuel use should go. I don't see where a Transformer could have that may weapons and be that size without having at least a normal power demand, unless he's asleep most of the time.

--If you want a rank of three I can approve that.

--"Has hard time righting himself in vehicle mode if overturned" as a weakness. If he finds himself in that spot he could always transform. Granted being forced to transform to get himself up and about my leave him vulnerable for a moment, but I just thought you should know.

--Put the character's history in the profile section.

--Your sample post looks good. Just the issue of the stat points and special abilities that really needs to be changed.

Profile:Like his name would suggest, he is mentally unsound. With Soundwave off on important missions and him being very useful most of the time,it was a bright idea to make a replica of him. Rumble and Frenzy,who weren't that particularly smart,directed the project and due to their lack of expertise,the replica's programming was ridden with glitches,not to mention they had accidently scratched the disc with his programming file on it. The replica was built in a rush off Rumble and Frenzy's plans,and cosmetically it looked exactly like Soundwave(besides the orange color in place of Wave's blue),but it was very psychotic and unstable and often would go on intelligent and witty rants,scattered with nonsense,about anything he could think off and had some powers that he shouldn't logically have as a replica of Soundwave. Occasionally the clone would rename itself or claim to be a messiah or savior. Mentally,it was "UnSound" and so it was named. The reason he wasn't scrapped was because he had immense intelligence(which he didn't often use),could still function as Communications as Soundwave did,and had an incredible knack for demolitions(of both the explosive and hand-to-hand combat encounter kind.).

Abilities:Not much above average. I went over all his special abilities earlier. No external fuel-tanks.

Sample Post: UnSound sat in the corner and stared at the wall for hours. "So blank. So calm. So fresh.",He mused. He wondered exactly why he was here and what he was doing.

"Doing? Nothing. Can you solve the other mystery along with Encyclopedia Brown? Woah! What? Where'd that one come from? I need to get out more.",Get out. That phrase clicked something in his head.

"Get out! Yes,that's it! I would like to get out.",Unsound put a finger on his chin to think and hunched over,looking innocent and childish.

"I want to get out because right now I'm.....FRrrZzzt!.....uh....in!",That was a glitch,he knew that,but back where he was,he knew he wanted to get out because he was in,but what was he in and how would he get out? How'd he get in for that matter.

"Think I got it now. I'm in Decepticon Detention Block Beta F-1-4,cell number 3-6-8-2. Now.....why? Hmm...detention block,huh? I must of done something....Oh Yeah! I remember,I backed up the pipeing with someone's face. Not my fault. He was a jerk. I'd do it again.",Now he most of it figured out,last question:how do I get out? As he pondered,he heard something at the wall,a clicking and tapping noise. Just then the wall disappared,revealing some Decepticon he didn't know.

"THE WALL!!!! WHERE IS IT??!!!",UnSound screamed in panic and started choking the person.

"Hey,hey,hey! Chill the hell out,man! That's just one of the defragmenting doors we put on the cells. Your three days is up,that's all. You can go.",Said the person. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go.,The word repeated in his head.

"YES! YEAH! SCORE! ALRIGHT! TUBULAR! EXCELLENT! PARTY ON GARF!",UnSound did an unsettling victory dance,yelling random victory cries. After this travesty,he scooted his bottom on the floor like one of those "Earth Dogs" all the way down the hall and out the door. Stepping through the door way he threw his arms in the air and added,"Hallejuiah! I'm free at last! Free at last! Thank God,I'm free at last!"

The guard just looked on,disturbed, and pondered,"Who's Garf?"


--Well the stats seem to be below the limit, but you have a lot of tens. I can be convinced to let him have a 10 in courage because he seems to be completely insane, but a 10 in intelligence won't work out. Crazy people don't tend to be that smart. Also a 10 in melee won't work either. Even being crazy, a courage of 8 or 9 should actually be enough.

--Even then I say cut back on the whole crazy insane thing. The Decepticons would more likely blast him apart for being too unstable or keep him locked up.

--Also you need the permission from Soundwave's player to involve him in the creation of your character. Given the involvement of Soundwave, Rumble, and Frenzy, I'd say it might be a good idea to just drop that part entirely. Also Rumble and Frenzy don't have enough ability to create a Transformer, anything they would create wouldn't just be insane... it just wouldn't work at all.

--The special abilities will probably require some type of stat penalty, especially those electric bolts that could mess with someone else's mind. I'd say get rid of the sonic boom ability if you want a power that can alter someone's state of mind.

--More detail on the abilities section is needed and you need some weaknesses.

--The sample post was pretty good though, I'd say that's pretty much what we're looking for, but having a crazy character who acts crazy all the time will end up being a problem. Like I said, it's likely to get him blasted or locked up.

Profile: Blackfire really doesn’t get along with anybody or care if they want to get to know them. He was part of a patrol squadron many years ago on an Autobot research colony. This colony was attacked in a Decepticon raid and Blackfire saw his entire squadron torn to pieces and the remaining few tortured to insanity before being put to death themselves (Blackfire never heard any questions asked to the prisoners, they were just randomly tortured). The only reason Blackfire survived is that an Autobot rescue party arrived in time before he was to be tortured. When he wanted to go after the Decepticons to enact his revenge he was confined by the Autobots and told that they would not stoop to the Decepticons level. After that, Blackfire left the Autobots and became a mercenary. He has sworn to painfully destroy all Decepticons involved in the slaughter of his squadron and whomever was involved in the missions planning.

Abilities: Blackfire’s true speed is yet to be determined as he just cares about going fast enough to get the job done. His rage is completely determined by how fast he is going. Above Mach 2 his fuel consumption is three times that of normal considering his systems. At Mach 2 and below his range is 3,000 miles, above that 1,000 miles. His weapons are pretty much straight forward. His main weapon is a long range, high powered, sniper rifle with multi format scope (night, electronic emissions, and heat signature). This is his most powerful weapon and has a 5 shot capacity before needing to be reloaded (takes 1 minute to reload and cool off). His secondary weapon is a short range semi-automatic pistol that he uses for close quarter combat and to finish off anyone strong enough to survive his sniper shot. The pistol has a 12 shot capacity and a short recharge time. His last weapon is an energon dagger. He uses this for extremely close combat and when quiet is a must. The dagger emits a short (3 foot) pure energon blade that can slice through almost anything. The blade only has a 30 minute use period before it needs to be shut off or it will overheat and melt itself. It requires 1 hour for each 5 minutes used after the first 10 (takes 10 minutes to reach full heat soak). Blackfire has a limited stealth/cloaking ability. When in jet mode he is invisible to radar and tracking (though still physically visible) and when he is in both jet and robot mode he can use his harmonic dampeners to cancel out any sound he makes which aides him in his missions. He has very little of the Autobot morality left and will do about anything to see his revenge carried out.

Weaknesses: Blackfire has an extreme hatred for certain Decepticons. He can be manipulated because of this hatred. It blinds him to certain things. He is not good in group combat as all of his experience and training is in stealth and one on one or small group melee. He prefers to kill from afar.

Sample Post:
The young Autobot walked up to Blackfire and noticed the scarred out Autobot marker on his left shoulder. It is quite apparent that no battle caused the scars.
Young Autobot- You know, we need every bit of help possible to defeat the Decepticons. Autobots are dying every day and I know you hate the Decepti-creeps as much as we all do. Why don’t you come back and help us?
Blackfire- Prime made it clear to me a long time ago that Im not going to get what I want with the Autobots. You sit high on your morality while all your friends and comrades are slaughtered around you.
Young Autobot- But morality is what sets us apart from the Decepticons. If you aren’t with us then you are against us.
Blackfire- That dogmatic thinking of yours is worthless and will get you killed. Listen pipsqueak, if you or any of your high and mighty Autobot friends get in my way, I will have no problem carving a hole through you to get to my target. Go play war somewhere else, I have heard about as much of your garbage as I can take for one day.


--The stealth special ability I'd say should take off at least 6 stat points. You have the room for it, so it's not a problem.

--Again it's not easy to play a mercenary character. Perhaps he can be just uneasy with being in the Autobot ranks. Being neutral is allowable, but if you find that the character doesn't have much to do it might be the time to have him join the Autobots again or the Decepticons.

--Tech skill of one may be kinda stretching it for a character who uses a sniper rifle and his stealth ability. If the equipment has more then an off and on switch he may be kinda ditzy about using them. Even then with a tech skill of one he may forget what the trigger does. I'd say for him to be useful with the weapons and abilities he has, his tech skill needs to be boosted to four at least. You'll need to lower other stats to make that work out.

--The sample post needs to be redone a bit. We don't use the script format here. You got some good dialogue there but it needs to be in a story format.

--Except for the things I mentioned it looks like you have a solid profile there.

Profile: Brewer is an Autobot who questions a lot about life. He often wonders what has its purpose and why. His mind wanders off often when alone, and sometimes even during battles. Brewer is a complete daydreamer and a trustworthy ally, even when he goes off into la-la land. Often doing his ideal job, the mech bravely goes into battle in search of injured or stasis locked Autobots and takes them back to the medical facilities where they can be repaired. Even though Brewer doesn’t have much firepower, his endurance makes up for it, keep himself and the “client” protected for as long as needed.

Appearance: In robot mode, Brewer is mostly a hunter green on his armor, and gray in his basic body structures (arms, legs, face, hands, etc.). The front section of his jeep mode (front wheels, hood, and engine) is split into his arms, while the cockpit of the vehicle forms his back, and the trunk and back wheels create his legs. He’s a simple transformation, yet still complicated, considering his back wheels latch on to his hips, held in place by retractable and extractable arms of a sort that bring the wheels from the legs to his hips and vise versa. (Same for the wheels on his shoulders)

Weaknesses: The misunderstanding of the long-waged war bothers Brewer much more than one would notice. He hides a lot of his feelings about the whole matter within himself, knowing that there isn’t really anything he can do but continue trying to aid in settling the war. His habit of losing himself to pondering within his imaginative mind can sometimes get Brewer into much trouble with lack of information gained during meetings or knowing what he’s heading into in the middle of battlefields.

Sample Post: “Hang on, buddy!” Brewer recklessly drove across the battlefields as he carried a highly damaged passenger in his seats. He couldn’t let this one go - not now, not ever. This ally was just too important to him.
The explosions nearly lifted the Jeep off of the ground and sent flying for a good bit, but they didn’t. Instead, the ride was rough and treacherous, sending rubble flying everywhere and about, hitting him pretty well. Some of the bombs and laser fire hit so close, he took a good bit of damage, but nothing would stop him - Brewer wouldn’t allow it. His interestingly colored friend groaned and grunted with each painful bounce, trying not to scream in agony from the major injury he really had - his arm almost completely blown off, hanging on by just a wire or two, and his chest was well opened, a missile hitting him at a very close range when he was taking cover behind whatever the booming graveyard had to offer.
It wasn’t long until Brewer made it to the Medical Facilities and practically begged for someone to take the passenger into the rooms pronto. “I have an emergency here! 97% damage to this one! Come on!”
At that, two Med. Bots ran out with a stretcher and rushed the injured mechanoid inside, Brewer transforming and chasing after them. He stood by as close as he could, hoping that there weren’t any other calls for him to attend to at least until he knew this one was going to make it through. “Orchid, stay functioning. I’ll bring you back to life and kill you again if you die on me,” he said rather loud enough for his long-term buddy to hear.
A grunt escaped the apparently named Orchid as two medics crowded over him, “When did you learn how to build sparks? Last time I checked, you weren’t Primus.” Then a faint chuckle hissed from his vocal speaker and his optics dimmed out, Orchid’s whole system finally giving out and settling into stasis lock.
“I’d find a way,” Brewer sighed and took a seat, carefully watching the repairs at work. He knew that Orchid would be all right, now. He hoped Orchid would be all right. The bot was in professional hands, after all. Another sigh escaped him and the green mech looked to the doors leading outside the facilities. Brewer couldn’t wait until everything was finally at peace again. He dreamt of a shining planet and all its glory, everyone on Cybertron laughing and getting along, children once again frolicking as joyfully as they use to. That past was a flicker, but Brewer knew one day it’d be a long future.


--Though I don't really see why he would have a rank of 7. Unless he was approved to have a rank of 7 beforehand, I think a rank of 6 will be more fitting.

--Brewer would have been approved but you need an abilites section put up. It was probably just an oversight, but you have to have one, at least mentioning his speed and weapons, and maybe what kind of punishment his armor can take.

Profile: Forte is a femme bot who has been places throughout the war. Her former commander known as Rafter was killed in an accident in moon base one some many cycles ago, giving Forte a bad reputation toward other Autobots. The accident in that event was a tragic happening of Forte's temper loss. In the end, she was the one who caused Rafter's death in a brutal and gorey fall. Forte looks upon life as having far too much pity for her in cause of her size. She thinks everyone is going easy on her for what may seem as a fatal flaw to her form. With such thoughts programed into her mind, she now looses sanity and goes unconscious, yet functional when in her rampage. Once Forte has lost all patience with whatever may trigger her anger, she is practically unstopable and extremely deadly to anyone who stands in her way.
On the other hand, Forte is usually the kind and thoughtful character that will fight for the Autobot honor 'til her death. Her loyalty to the Autobots is one that is questionable with her temper glitch, but she is a worthy soldier that has stuck along with her allies for many centuries through the thickest of missions.

Appearance: Her outter armor is a shade of lavendar, being placed on her lower arms, shins, and knees. Her alternate mode's doors are placed over her shoulders as secondary armor, and her engine chamber - along with her Null-ray rifle - are on her back, also where her robot mode's head folds into. Forte's inner armor - where her alt. mode's pieces aren't - is a light grey. Her red optics show the ironicy of her innocent and childlike appearance and femine figure. Her helmet gives a shape that represents something similar to a human's short hair. Her red Autobot symbol is branded on her right door/shoulder.

Abilities: Forte has the ability of a Bezerker, multiplying her physical strength to great heights. In the cause of a glitch in her system from one nearly fatal battle, she now has no control over who she attacks in her Bezerker mode. In alt. mode, she can freeze enemies in their tracks with the Null-ray rifle in under her hood. This rifle can also flip out of her back when in robot mode. Her grenade launcher can reach great distances of 2 miles, and combining this with her skillful aim, she his deadly even out of Bezerker mode. This launcher also sends out a powerful atom explosion that spreads in the range of 20 meters. Her two energon pistols serve as main weapons, making them the first thing for her to pull out when in battle. These pistols do a fair amount of damage, but can only weaken the enemy, not destroy it.

Weaknesses: Out of all that Forte can do, her weakness is nothing more than her strength. As said, in her Bezerker mode, she has no control of who she attacks. In result, Forte may attack her own allies. Also, in many occasions of when her Bezerker mode levels reach too high, Forte falls completely unconscious, and possibly even in stasis lock.

Sample Post:

A very small sized fembot, not nearly as short as a Minibot, but not tall enough to be considered normal, shied away across the room as the roll call was taking place. She didn’t want to bump into anyone, but surely wanted to keep everything acknowledged.
Forte, the femme, pulled up a fist of knuckles and pressed them to her lips in nervousness as she watched the braver Autobots step up when their names were called. She couldn’t understand how they could just hide all their worries when in front of the higher ranked commanders. But none of that could be thought over, for her name was then expressed.
“Forte,” called the group leader.
This sudden sound of her name caused Forte to jump. She looked over to the mech whom had acknowledged her name and pressed her knuckles even harder to her mouth. With much hesitation, the femme stepped forward and made her way to the front of the group.
“Forte,” the mech looked around and then down at the lavender form that was much small than himself, “Ah, there you are. Head for the Training Facilities for practice and your new group leader will take it from there.”
“Y..yes, sir,” Forte mumbled from behind her fist, and quickly traveled out of the room and to her commanded destination.
Hopefully the other mechanoids would be a little less intimidating to her, maybe they were all noobies. Forte hoped so, that way, she wouldn’t have to worry about too much entertainment about her height. Primus, she hated when someone picked about her height - it almost made her want to do something she never thought was possible for a Transformer like herself. But maybe some things were possible.


--A Null ray should take at least 3 points I think. It won't be as powerful as Starscreams, but it's what your character can afford. You character has enough points in reserve so it's all right.

--I think her strength should be downgraded to be at the most 8. Being a berserker she might be able to get to a level of 9 or 10 in that mode. The 10 might be a refection of how far she can go in berserker mode, maybe you can make a note of that in the stats.

--I think her temper problem would make it so she doesn't have a rank greater then 5. I know it's kinda picky.

--It's not much that needs to be changed really, just those few changes and all should be ready.

Profile: Archaea comes from the city of Daicronus, and it’s Autobot Institute of Science. She is highly dedicated to her scientific work, discovering Cybertrons past. She believes in the historical preservation of all artifacts and their relevance to today. She is staunch in her work and decries any destruction to Archaeological sites and ruins.
To better aide her in her work, her body was given advanced analytical and sensory devices. She uses these to track, locate, dig, analyze and record data to further her documentations. Although she is not a very brave bot in the face of combat, if combat harms a site, she becomes infuriated. To this end she’d rather surrender than see a ruin destroyed. Her vast intellect is useful to the Autobots cause. Her analytical and scientific methods have, led to the discovery and capturing of Decepticon relics.


Abilities: Archaea’s Protoform was gifted at creation. Her chassis contains some of the most advanced sensory and data collection technology on the planet. She possesses a Genius level intellect and a fast analytical mind. Her processing ability is near Technobot efficiency. A crystal Light Matrix storage bank allows for the storage of vast quantities of data. Her body is nearly immune to corrosives, which helps during a wide variety of digs.
Her right arm is a handless sensory appendage containing her sensory suite. Some of the sensors contained in the arm can detect energy, analyze chemical composition, carbon date, use various spectrometers, photometers, laser image scanning/mapping, etc. It also contains a holographic generator to show artifact profiles.
Her left arm is her manipulator arm and contains a variety of Archaeological tools, such as sifters, screens, augers, micro trowels, storage compartments etc. Her tensile ability is sensitive and she can even pick of delicate objects like eggs.
Her head contains advanced Optics providing Microscopic and Telescopic vision. She also has UV, Infrared, and Low Light optics. She also has a Large capacity for language translation.?
??In vehicle mode she can reach a top speed of 65mph, while in robot mode she "rolls" or "skates" across the ground on her wheeled feet, at up to 25 mph.?


Weaknesses: Archaea is not built for combat. She is extremely weak physically and is easily overpowered. Her frame isn’t strong or durable making her vulnerable to enemy attacks. She is slow in vehicle mode compared to other Transformers. Her “feet” are vulnerable to weapon blasts which can leave her immobile. She lacks offensive and defensive power, though at times she will use a standard issue pistol for stunning attacks. In combat she is not very brave unless a ruin is in danger.

To know the past...
Archaea stood on the twisted metal of the ruins of Daicronus her home city. Daicronus had been destroyed years before by a massive upheaval of plasma energy. Rumor was that a Decepticon had somehow reignited old engines in the far depths of Cybertron. That rumor was not her concern here today. Her only concern was the recovery of a set of Data plate artifacts said to reside in the hall of records. After getting permission to go to Daicronus, from the Autobot Science council, she made her way there. It took nearly Two Astrocycle, to get there from Iacon. She had no worry for Decepticon patrols; they rarely were interested in recovering Artifacts of peace. If the Artifact didn’t make something go “BOOM!” they generally left it alone.
Her advanced optics came to life as she used telescopic sensors to scan the ruins. Geo-mapping placed the hall within the western most breech submerged under some destroyed towers. The site of her home saddened her some. This wasn’t her typical Archaeological site dig. This was her reclaiming a part of the place she called home. Ruined domes and tall spires littered the cyber-scape, buildings of learning and great museums fell into shambles below her wheeled feet. She skated down an embankment and used her sensor arm to scan for readings of the last known data signature of the halls doorway.
She skated over the uneven terrain until she saw the silvery blue mass of metal poking from the rubble. The hall lay beneath her. She quickly transformed into her exploratory vehicle mode to make the descent easier. Her small frame wasn’t hindered from the blocked and destroyed passageways of the hall. She had however come to an area where she could not pass easily. A small manipulator arm emerged from her left side, with a cutting torch at its tip. She switched to Low light mode and released several survey bots to scatter in different directions. While they searched about she began to cut the beam that blocked her, daydreaming about her home.
She pulled imagery from her data tracks, and replayed them with the clarity, only a transformer with her Crystal Light Matrix could. She remembered her first day at the Science Academy, where she began to study the various sciences. She had taken a liking to Cybertronian Anthropology and specialized in Archaeology. She knew that for Cybertron to grow she needed to learn its past. She had spent several Vorns learning not only Cybertronian history, but those of local alien species. Her onboard computer had switched off the torch as the cutting was completed.
Transforming she was able to lift the beam away from her path, not the strongest transformer but on digs she did fine. She rolled slowly down the dark passageways of the Hall of Records. Her gray white frame reflecting the blue lights her body sensors gave off. She passed room after room looking for one in particular. Down a forward passage she saw two of her survey bots prodding a doorway opening trying to squeeze thru.
“Have they found it?” she wondered, quickening her pace she made it to the door and forced it open, her other survey bots returned with various items, but not exactly what she was looking for.
This room however was what she needed. One tiny red light in a corner near some computers made her spark shine a little brighter. But she needed power. For several Megacycles she converted ten survey bots into redundant power relays. Using her own supply of energon as the catalyst, she provided the power they needed to access the rooms’ backup generators. As lights and devices whirled slowly to life her optics grew hopeful. Moving over to the rooms’ central computer, she inputted the access codes given to her by the council.
“Welcome to the Daicronus central computer for records, Input a query please!” it read on the screen.
1-3-4-7-Archaea-A, she entered.
“Processing, please stand by………….record found……data plate released below, input a query please.”
“By the eyes of Primus, I’ve recovered them” she sighed in joy. A circular door on her torso opened revealing a slot for direct input She put the crystalline data plates into them. They began to extract the files onto her memory matrix.
“Archaea…Autobot…Body type: Protoform…Chassis: Light…Manufacture date:……..”
Archaea relaxed happily as her Birth records were uploaded into to her mind. Most Transformers don’t care to remember when they came online, just that they did, But Archaea is an Archaeologist. To them the past is all that matters sometimes.



--Let's leave intelligence at nine and I'll give you permission to put tech skill to ten. You can have those flipped if you want and make intelligence ten and tech skill nine. Maybe if she had more funtions then being a archaeologist and archivist both could be ten.

--She would really be helpless in combat situations. A micromaster or human could probably beat her up. It's okay, but she'll generally need protection if she's sent on any missions.

Profile: There are those that stick to the roads well-traveled, and those who blaze new trails in the skies. But Deckplate doesn’t fit into either category; being fed up with the tight confines of cities and their roadways, he’s always been in love with the seas. Ever since arriving on Earth to augment Autobot sea forces, he’s been in awe at the majesty of the deep and its seemingly never-ending horizon. He feels most content when sailing on the oceans, and is often disgruntled when stuck “on shore”. Yet, he is always willing to assist his compatriots in the fight against the Decepticons, be it land or sea.

Abilities: Deckplate is capable of reaching speeds of up to 146 miles per hour at-sea for ten hours without refueling, and when transformed, can easily reach 62 miles per hour. His RADAR and SONAR systems allow him to detect incoming airborne, surface and undersea threats out to a range of about fifty miles, provided the target moves slow enough to easily register. His magnetic-inducer shell launchers are capable of hitting targets as far away as 25 miles within thirty seconds of firing, and he is a fairly good shot with his laser rifle when he’s stuck ashore.

In tactical situations, Deckplate easily lends himself to a command-and-control role, given his detection and ranging equipment. He makes only informed decisions, and does his best to always have a “plan B” ready to go.

Weaknesses: As a turbofan-equipped hydrofoil, Deckplate is mostly above the water; a sneak attack from below can easily disrupt his SONAR equipment. He tends to navigate blindly, focusing solely on his SONAR and RADAR, leaving him open to just about anything that can outpace his processors. He is bound-to-the-book, and will never attack when hostages are at risk.

“Finally, something new for a change,” Deckplate said to himself as the shuttle flying he and his group of fresh Autobot forces glided over the central Pacific Ocean, near the island state of Hawaii. “It’s so... so...”

“Watery.” He turned to see a grizzled, stern warrior ‘bot next to him, sneering at the sight. “I’d rather be back at Iacon, but that’s not likely to happen with the way the war’s been as of late.”

Deckplate shrugged. “Hey, we’ll get our chance soon enough. You’re right – it’s a war. And no one gets to go home outside of two ways – leave and a slag pile.”

“Don’t count on that last one... that’s reserved for those slag-for-brains Decepticons we’re fighting.”

Deckplate smiled a small bit. “I’ll put some energon on that any given...!” He gasped. “Hang on tight, it’s about to get rough!”

“Huh? What’re you talking about?!” Just at that moment, an explosion shook the shuttle, sending it careening down towards the ocean near Pearl Harbor.

“Just hold on; we’ll make it outta here alright?” Deckplate tried to keep his comrade calm. The other nodded in reply just as the shuttle made impact. Both of them were sent flying out in different directions along with their fair share of wreckage.

By the time Deckplate came to, he was on a deserted beach, but could find nothing. No one landed near him, nor within ten miles. “What in the name of Primus...?” was all he could say. “How am I going to reach the landing site now?”

As if luck were on his side finally, a military-issue hydrofoil appeared on RADAR, approaching his position. He took a few passing glances at his surroundings and found a mostly intact scanner and reformatter assembly. After spending the better part of three minutes getting the scanner to function, the hydrofoil appeared in sight. He could make out crewmen getting out of the craft and manning its exterior brandishing all manner of small arms. One in particular carried only a megaphone as the craft slowed to a halt a few hundred feet away; this one was no doubt the captain. “Unknown, state your identity and purpose for being here,” the captain announced.

“Deckplate, sent here to support Autobot forces on this planet. And, as you no doubt know, I’m currently stranded in Primus-knows-where.”

The captain turned to another crewman, then turned back a few seconds later. “How are you stranded? Are you a land-bot, or are you unable to transform?”

“Wasn’t yet assigned a vehicle mode. It wouldn’t have happened until I got to my duty station.”

The capitain shook his head slowly. “Is there any way you can adapt yourself to cope with the sea? If you can, we’ll escort you out.”

Deckplate grinned. “I’ll need to scan your ship, then. Is that permissible?”

“Certainly, son,” the captain replied. “Just make it snappy, lest someone think we’re skating off out here.”

“Yessir,” Deckplate responded, activating the scanner. A sensor wave washed over the ship, scanning its exact design and feeding it directly to the reformatter, which immediately took to restructuring Deckplate from the ground up. After two full minutes of work, Deckplate’s body closely resembled a sleeker, smoother version of the hydrofoil that had found him. He waded into the water slowly and transformed, so as to not affect the human ship much. “Lead the way,” his voice echoed from his new body, as he and the other hydrofoil turned off and headed to the nearest known Autobot facility...


--Approved and I'll give him a rank of 7 being that the Autobots will need a good ocean operative on Earth and even on Cybertron with the Rust Sea.

Profile: An early Autobot defector to the Decepticons, Mal Practice is an excetional - and mercenary - surgeon capable of performing complex operations under battlefield conditions using his own force shield and built in equipment.

In battle he will not fight face to face unless pushed, preferring to nobble the injured in a cowardly way as opposed to fighting them fairly. This lack of ethics spills over into his professional life as a research specialist in Decepticon R&D and Mal Practice has been responsible for many a dark and hideous creation in the past, some that Shockwave himself would have been proud of.

Abilities: As a physician his skills are extensive and his knowledge of transformer maintenance and repair is vast. As a researcher he has studied extensively the processes for integrating various generations of transformer technology together and so is able perform both quick and extensive repairs to models from all era's of the transformer race, from ancient sentinels right through to modern multi-changer designs.

Tough but extremely slow in battle, he is skilled at using concussion grenades to clear a safe zone near the 'patient' for him to work. He also carries paired pistols for emergencies and at extremely close range he is as skilled with an enegon dagger as he is as with a scalpel.

His toughened hide can resist most ballistic and artillery fire and doubles as an impact shield in explosions. As long as he stays sationary he can summon a 50' force field to protect himself and his ward that can last for up to 10 minutes, but drains almost half of his energy in that time.

Weaknesses: His ethics are non existent, he has no bedside manner and will charge extra to use anaestetic. His general lack of speed and inability to fly like other decepticons leads to him being left behind frequently. Like to take 'trophies' from the battlefield, disgusting all but the most hardened of decepticons in the process.

Sample Post:
Mal Loved his work. He had spent hours dissecting and reconstructing the autobot's arm he 'found' on the battlefield. He knew that mechs generally preferred to use CR chambers these days, but there was something so much more satifying and lucrative to fixing things by hand.

The large square doctor tinkered with the limb and held it up to the gigantic surgical light. After staring at it for a few seconds of deep concentration, he attached it back onto the bench and began applying a string of beeping electrodes to it. He then he put some orange safely goggles on, retreated back to a large wall mounted switch and waited.

The rythmic monotone slowly built up in volume and when it reached a specific pitch, Mal violently slammed the switch down with all his might. The lab flashed painfully bright with an energon flash as the ambience stopped with a crash across the whole building...

...?

The emergency power activated almost instantly but Mal knew his commander would be arrive any second to investigate the disruption. Figuring it wasnt worht it, he turned to the bench to hide the evidence. It was now stood upright and was giving him the finger.
He stabbed it with his electroscalpel and it clenched into a fist and swung at him.

"YES!!" he exclaimed, then moved over to a comms console."Mal Practice to Shockwave. The re-animation exercise was a success; 75% effieciency recovery, full remote control established. There is nothing i can do about the paint job, not even i can save that.

"Erm... Grafting techique research permission is now required. Do I have funds and permission to proceed?"


--If you really want a stat penalty for being an exceptional surgeon I can give it to you. Nah, it's included in tech skill.

--I suppose I can give you a ten for tech skill. You have to lower strength as you said though

--Being a surgeon his dexterity has to be a lot greater. Boost it to at least 6 or 7, endurance can be sacrificed for that.

--Just those small changes and the profile will work out fine.

Profile: Swat is a warrior, his array of weapon are powerful for both long range and close range. He makes frends with his fellow teammates. He is serious when he is in battle and when he is not. He obeys his leaders commands and helps whenever it is necessary.

Abilities: Swat's burst mechine gun has dangerous explosive bullets, his ion laser is very powerfull but takes 45 seconds to recharge, his energy blade is deadly but he has to get real close to use it, also his jet pack can only allow him to fly at 65 mph and last 2 min. 50 sec. at a time.

Weaknesses: If you take out his ion cannons he won't be able attack accurately and you can attack his cheast from far range and take out his main power source. Then he would be almost powerless.

Sample Post: Swat drove as fast as he could towards the gun fire. He transformed before he got to the spot and hid behind a rock so he could get battle info. Clearly the Decepticons were winning. The Autobots were getting pushed back. Swat decided to give his fellow Autobots a healping hand. He got out from behind the rock and shot a Decepticon right in the leg with his ion lasers. The Decepticon fell down. Then Swat went in to finish the job.


--Way too big. 35 feet is about the max for fan characters without special permission.

--Robot mode flight for Autobots is a 4 point stat penalty. That puts your stat total to 78. Three points will have to be taken from the stats if you want to keep that jetpack.

--I'd like a bit more in his profile. The sample post could use a bit more too.

Profile: Hooligan is just about the biggest practical joker in the entire Decepticon ranks. He’d much rather be back at base laughing it up with his fellow Decepticons than fighting out on the front lines. These laughs, in true Decepticon fashion, are usually at the expense of someone else, however, as he pulls some gag or another on any victims he can. His most notorious prank is by far the time he put sugar in Megatron’s fuel tank. Luckily he was able to talk his way out of an execution.

Abilities: Hooligan’s airframe is capable of accelerating to supersonic speeds quite rapidly, and even performing fairly tight maneuvers at such high speeds. Unfortunately for Hooligan, and fortunately for the Autobots, he doesn’t possess the skill or courage to use his form to even half of its potential.

Weaknesses: Doesn’t always think things through very well, particularly with who he targets with his pranks. Many a time he’s been inches away from a quick and painful death at the hands of another Decepticon because he didn’t know when his jokes had gone too far. He’s also not very brave in the face of death, and tends to hang back in battle and keep away from any big firefights.

Sample Post:
“Long Haul, ol’ buddy, ol’ pal!” The orange Cyberjet walked up to the Constructicon and draped his left arm across the dump truck’s shoulders. “I wanted to thank you for that paint bomb you brought in with the last supply shipment.” If Hooligan actually had a mouth, his voice sounded as if he would have been grinning audio receptor-to-audio receptor.

“And be sure to bring me any more you can get. I’ve got a few more ideas for those little beauties…” He trailed off for a moment with a chuckle. “Oh, you should’ve been there. Soundwave’s going to be cleaning the paint out of his chest compartment for weeks. Rumble and Frenzy were still laughing their servos out when I left.”
Hooligan was about to invite Long Haul to share a bottle of oil; this deserved a toast, after all; when something caught his attention. He could see a very angry – and very pink – Ravage coming around the corner further down the hall.

--You can boost Melee higher is you want. Hooligan does count as a canon at least in the regard that the stat rules aren't as strict for him. Three or four in melee could do it.

--Oh you don't need to list robot mode flight as a special ability for a Decepticon character. It comes natural for them.
