Yep, that was the premise behind the first set of rules for the first competition, but unfortunately the calculations required to compute the score dissuaded people from playing.

Guys, I am absolutely getting swamped at work and I don't want to be a bottle neck for this tournament.  Would one of you mind volunteering to finalize the rules?  It sounds like there is momentum behind the treasure hunt idea.

Basically, I need someone to finalize the rules by summarizing what has been agreed upon thus far and post here on a semi regular basis to keep the momentum going.  I would be willing to give this person some extra energon (say 100K?) to help with this process.

I am completely buried at work.  It does not take any mental effort for me to play HMW, but posting something semi intelligent requires my brain to perform a context switch from my software development tasks.  After I read the boards and make some posts, it takes some time for my brain to mentally switch gears back into coding the project I am working on.  I have some pretty serious deadlines coming up that I absolutely cannot afford to miss.

Any volunteers?
