You're welcome, Wingz!

And for everyone waiting to see what happens next, check out One Wild Weekend: The Aftermath! - now showing in the HMW General Forum.

I don't see why not

He did say "for a month" but didn't specify that it couldn't be changed. Clever idea, Servant!

EDIT: Another tweak. To avoid confusion, especially since another event will be going on, let's have him pick two doors for 2 weeks each. It just simplifies it.

How about this instead: If he wants to get out of a build early, he can opt to swap for the build that was behind the last door for the remainder of the 2 weeks. Otherwise, he's stuck with the two he chose. Like a bit of a wild card. It presents 2 builds and only introduces the last one if he chooses to convolute things for himself.

We can put it behind 'door number two', I guess...

All bios and decisions aside, I want to make something VERY clear here.

This thread was started on trust that everyone here could work together. This was obviously not the case. :BANG_HEAD:

I want everyone to remember that one person does not a community make. Everyone is here for different reasons, with different minds, with different expectations, I get that. When this gets in the way of supporting others and working together, however, it creates toxicity. Everyone needs to check themselves and think about this, because this is a game where community is pretty much everything there is, and we are not a large community. I like everyone here. I am not addressing this to any one person. However, I'm also extremely disappointed in what I've seen here. :(

Turbo, thank you for your suggestion regarding doors. As it was your suggestion, and I haven't seen anyone against it, which door would you like your suggestion to be behind? This gets posted today.

You know, maybe we should play a game with Buns; take the pure-avoid scout, the LOLFP, and the useless character and randomly put them behind "doors" and make him pick a door to decide which exact idea he ends up suffering...

Now this could be interesting. I did try to make mine half way feasible to where he would keep it as is or a little tweak.

Name: Speed Demon/ Hermes (Hermes in case Speed Demon is over used)

Alt mode: light vehicle race car car #36

Motto:Knowledge is power in the right hands. Knowledge is deadly in the wrong hands.

Weapon: mace
Armor: optional

Function: scout

Strength:3
Intelligence: 5
Speed: 6
Endurance: 3
Rank: 1
Courage: 0
Firepower: 0
Skill: 5

Avoid: 9

Profile: Hermes realized after the latest skirmish with Wingz and her coalition that going in half blind and fully cocked was not the greatest of ideas. It took several vorns to realize this so Hermes decided to go under a reformatting to become a scout. He also worked on his melee attacks and avoiding in robot as well as vehicle. His new philosophy for battle is to know one's enemy and in order to do so one had to survive. He isn't the strongest of melee combatants and disgruntled about only having a mace available to use. He will not be embarrassed by Wingz or her friends ever again if he could help it.

Since this was a prize from the battle, I tied it to the event instead of being something random.

 ooo, suspenseful!

If we decide to go with this, I'll write the post up and submit it once Sumo is finished and we decide who is behind which door. ;)^

I would go with the light vehicle personally.

You're free to present an idea. You're free to build a bio and create the stats, but you can't force the rest of the community to accept it if they don't like it. The creative control was originally for the top scoring player of the winning side, but I thought it'd be more fun to allow everyone to engage in creating it through a flow of conversation. Either you work with the others to create something you can all agree on, or you can make your character and it may or may not be accepted. Either way, I'd encourage a conclusion soon since this event ended almost a week ago. Bots are SERIOUSLY slow! :KREMZEEK:

I will admit my chicken idea might be overused even if I haven't seen it much in HMW. I still say this is a good time to experiment with extreme stats though. It did solve a curiosity I had about when it be earliest to reach a 10 stat. As for worthless mechs, I wonder about mine often but many have 0/0 fp/sk since I am more focused on tactics. One build I thought would actually work is an avoid with good skill (4-5) if I could find a good enough weapon. Piscor is my pure avoiders with some endurance.

https://www.seibertron.com/heavymetalwa ... r_id=85773

What you don't see is 4 avoid. She runs mid pack in my team so the build isn't completely worthless. With the experience we have to work with, it would totally possible to give more speed and keep the scout function idea. As for the goofy bio, that I would vote no for even if I appreciate and know the reference. I am too serious natured of a writer to do goofy bio.

I would agree with you. The bio is fun and the build, while still garbage, went with the joke well ;)^ It does feel in bad taste, personally, to just hand him a crappy build, with no humor or reason. If that's what the majority want, then I won't say anything more. The community is more important than the person. However, I get where it wouldn't sit quite right to see that result

The other option is a decent character, so not entirely useless, with a joke theme and everything written and thought out.

Personally? I don't truly care which one  though my softy sense feels the latter would be more enjoyable (to those who like a good fight and joke themes that haven't been reused several times) ;) He already has the humiliation of me earning over twice his points, though, most of which on him. I mean, let's be real here. Anything past that point is an improvement. >:oP

I had the same idea but put all of skill into avoid. However, the softies hated the idea. I was channeling G1 Prowl a little bit. I had 10 avoid, 5 intelligence, and 7 rank. I guess you put one point in skill to keep avoid at 9.

To be fair, it's likely embarrassing enough that I got so many points off of him to begin with  SO many points, Boss, SO many points! :KREMZEEK:

What build did you guys have in mind? I'm really only half here right now  so you likely have better ideas than I.
