I cannot stress enough that as soon as there are new missions we'll turn off all the old missions and get things balanced.

But these missions need to be written, and not enough people are stepping up to help.

You did fine ZW 8-)

Group coordination has always been a place the Cons do better than the Bots.

When we have an event where we're just dealing with each individual claiming their own kills we'll do better (assuming we're not funneled into the killing fields that the 6-11 & 1-11 event missions were this time)
Right now the Cons have more active High-Level players than we do so trying to face them head on in missions like that was just suicidal. Those Bots players that weren't invested in the event tended not to deploy into them thus depleting our already light back-up.

I've been talking to Psych as the week progressed and he understands where there were some mistakes made in how this event was implemented. He's a fair guy that wants a fair fight so he'll adapt and do better next time.

As long as you're posting them in the score thread in the HMW GD we're good. Psych will sort it out.
Since I've gone through ALL the friggin missions since the start of this thing I've likely got them but I am prone to mistakes when tired (and almost ALWAYS tired when doing this)

Speaking of, here's my last report before I go to bed & likely before the end of the event.

We could have done better, but I've also seenthe Bots do a LOT worse in the past so I don't personally think its that bad.
It was a format that didn't play to our strengths & we just did have some key people on our side active much/at-all (Myself being just as guilty of that)

Flood the missions with Enduring Medic Avoiders supporting a couple high-powered Strafers?

But that requires more coordination than we currently have.

Though this will bring down the Rage of Burn upon me (meh what else is new):

We really need as many of the active players in a fb convo (or some other kind of instant messenger) so we can rapidly request back-up/coordinate deployments. It's one of the things that's helped the RDD work as an effective unit in the past.

So the Previous rally fell apart quickly...

I did some further analysis:

We REALLY need to make sure the Knights (listed in the first post) only go into CFC missions. So far we have had nearly 50% fewer opportunities for points than the Cons. Some of that is just that our guys have less back-up and require more CR time but another reason is lack of proper deployment.

It'll be a rough road but I think we could still pull this out with some effort and luck ;)

Seems to be the story for all of us so far this week so no prob

We are currently enjoying a bit of a rally though so we've got that going for us which is nice

Added blocked points ( "# Con points blocked" = how many times we've stopped them from getting a Knight Point )

We're still fighting from behind but I honestly expected it to be worse from what I was hearing yesterday.

Keep up the good fight guys, there's still lots of play time

(Also I've claimed all 36 of our knight points so far)

I've just spawned a 0-5 mission and joined one that was already spawned. This is the most I've seen that mission today

I am going to do my best to get Rioghan in CFC missions. Its been a up-hill battle with the 0-5 mission spawns. Guess it pays to be patient! ;)

Not that far behind all things considered.

Honestly after the bloodbath we had going on yesterday I expected things to be a lot worse

So we're falling behind then by the looks of things, still, plenty of time to change that

I've claimed all our Knight Points so far (probably duplicating claims with some of yinz but screw it, let Psych sort it out  ) Not sure how many of those possible point the Cons have claimed

Really going to have to go through and turn off a lot of those lower level missions. Problem is, they span various levels (0-1, 0-2, 1-2, 1-3 etc). It's why I feel the easiest thing to do would be to come up with a whole bunch of new missions, add them, turn the old ones off then turn the new ones on.

Key 6 levels

Colossus Prime - 8
Shunt - 4
Rioghan - 5

What I suggest is that Steve & Wingz focus on the 6-11 missions since the rest of us can't reach them with our 'specials', TT & OP can focus mostly on the 0-5, S.o.L. & I can focus on the 1-11.
That being said if there are a lot of one kind (judging by what Burn posted there are FAR more 1-11 than 0-5) and the people that are supposed to take those missions are already deployed or AWOL fee free to jump.
(To be clear: I only mean to focus on those missions with you key guy. Otherwise deploy whoever into whatever tourney mission you can)

I'll add the list of our key 6 and their links to the top post to make it easy for all of us to check and see which of them are deployed/in CR/Inactive

Any other thoughts/ Suggestions/Heckling (not you Burn)

I think you've misinterpreted me. Those numbers I quoted were for how many missions in those brackets had been run, not how many different ones are in the system.

I think you've misinterpreted me. I knew what the numbers you quoted were. I may not have your fancy tools but I'm tracking too ;)

Still the low level missions generate at a far lower overall rate (like you said, due to the number of other possible missions the RNG can kick out in that range.
At last check the Tourney missions are about 20% of all missions and the 0-5 mission is somewhere between 2%-3%

Ah so there's only three tournament missions then.

As you know my team is pure L3 so I doubt I be much help in the wider range missions unless there are L9 and below Cons and even we have to outnumber them 2 to 1. As for the 1-5 missions, I should do well in them. I wish the Cons had better players around my level but those who are rise quickly. I admit, my team isn't the best and my playing frequency isn't the best either except days off where I stay home.

One thing I am curious about is the bonus energon and experience. Do we know what they are?

Re: CFC2 Round 2 coordination thread

Post by Bun-Bun » Sat Dec 01, 2018 11:23 pm

You can meat shield in the 1-11 matches and be decent back-up in the 0-5 matches.
Even if one of our special 6 isn't in a match we still have to keep the Cons from winning (as that's the primary source of points) and especially if one of their special 6 is in it so they don't get bonus points.

I'll add a list of their 6 to the top post for easy refrence as well

*edit

After adding the Cons I realized they don't have any under level 6.
That means only we can get bonus points from the 0-5 missions (too bad those are the ones that spawn the least)
If we hit the 6-11 & 1-11 missions with our big guns while flodding the 0-5 missions with level 5's we may be able to limit their bonus points while racking up points for us.

To that end I say all the specials that can should prioritize the 0-5 missions (but still make sure we only have 1 special per mission to maximize our opportunities)

So is there any way I can be useful in the times that I'm on or is it just throw myself in their way in the top level missions? As I've only got two guys in the same lvl range as two of the specials.
