Yeah it would be close. I think Dinobot is better skilled with his sword, and may even have a slight edge in hand to hand combat, but I think Grimlock is stronger, and he can eventually beat Dinobot into stasis lock.

Or just rip him in half. Dinobot was a skilled warrior who fought with honour but he could only take so much pain. While Grimlock is this unstoppable powerhouse fixed on the thought to eliminate his enemy, he's kinda like a Terminator he'll only stop fighting if he or his foes are no more then scrap on the battle ground. And wasn't the comic Grimlock like a super tactical brutal yet intelligent warrior kinda like Dinobot just lacking in the honour and compassion?
