I own a skateboard/bike shop in wapakoneta ohio, and also work part time doing a mixture of things at Katie's Lighthouse (they manufacture colonial style lamps/chandeliers...lighting fixtures in general). Being generic, I dont really have a favorite. I honestly wouldn't want to ever part with any of the TF's my son and I have purchased throughout the past 3 or so years.

Funny how I go thru streaks where I'm always finding new things and dont have the money for them at the time, but when I do have some extra cash, the things I want are no longer there or are new and extremely hard to find. Lima is the closest tru for me, and I swear they dont get everything (even in limited quantities), that the other tru stores get. I never saw the animated ratchet or arcee there. A columbus store clerk *which was quite helpful, for once* said that all store get the same stock. Idk about that. I have been searching all over for the animated ironhide and rodimus. We took a trip to the dayton/cincy area and came up empty handed. I was soooo bummed, seeing that days later ppl in the same area were finding them. I guess we all go thru steaks like this. I've just been really unlucky here lately and it sucks. The clerk in c-bus obviously suggested to order things online, but I dont prefer to do it that way. I enjoy gettin out with the fam and doing things and searching. The thrill of the hunt. lol.

Don't forget about the ROTF and Animated stuff that are still clogging the shelves and pegs. The only store chain that i know of that did any type of clearance or extreme sale on them to make room for new stuff is Meijer. But they are always late putting out any new product. What really gets me is all the crap that TRU carries and doesn't clearance (ie Shangai Showdown, Gathering at the Nemesis, etc). I know of multiple TRU stores that have 10 to 15 of the Universe exclusive figures two years ago (Countdown and Darkwind). I hope that Target gets the new waves in the Dayton area soon. IMO it is the best store to find and get new Transformers. I am done ranting

I may actually save my hunting trips after what I'm reading here. the past few days though, give me a direction to go with the Generations line. I really like the old school bots and these updated versions get my attention. I'm liking the new Cliffjumper tons. I was really looking forward to Crankcase and the Destrons but they seem to have lightened them up more than I can stand. The photoshopped stuff that Hasbro is pushing out gives me a uptick until I see the real finished product. I wish they would cut that part out completely.

I also didn't realize Leadfoot and Pinpoint PCC were a preorder thing until the news on the leader today. I've been looking at the guy on the shelf at our Walmart for several weeks now.

Hey, has anyone happened to find Battle Blades Optimus Prime, Cybertronian Megatron, or Grindor recently in the Akron/Summit County area?
As an update on local stocks,my local Toys R Us has ONLY ROTF Desert Tracker Rachet and TONS of over priced Tuner Mudflaps (NOOOO...really?)in single packs, while most multipacks are on sale. A few RPM single packs are left for $1.98, and they're all good ones surprisingly, minus Starscream who sold a few weeks ago (DANG IT!).
Targets have some Generations and HFTD's but are letting the stock run out. Walmarts are also letting the stock go and are struggling with Tuner Mudflap also.

Hey guys, i hit the mother load for HFTD line this evening!!
Went to walmart by the Dayton mall and found 2 Hailstorms now minus 1, 2 Elita-1, 3 Tuner Skids and 3 Sidearm Sideswipes!!
But, i will tell you this, Hailstorm is pretty cool and disappointing at the sametime, cause i thought he would be a slightly bigger deluxe but his not, and if i had it to do over again, i would wait to get Mindset instead of Hailstorm, but thats me. On mine Hailstorm all paint apps are really good and joints are tight!!

We just got back from Mansfield TRU etc. The TRU had jack and squat. In fact, they had so little in regards to transformers they had joes stuffed between them. The entire lot of bots would have fit on half an upright shelving unit. I'm scratching them off my list as it looks grim for those guys. The Walmart there had the new legends like Hound and such as well as Destrons and Ralleybots.

From what I read above I shouldn't even boner with Akron/Canton in the morning. I'll save my trip and pick up Ramjet locally. Man, this rips big time. We seem to be getting hosed while all around us states are loaded up.

Nice haul, Stock--Hailstorm's on my buy list too, although I'll probably have to wait at least a week to start looking for him up here. Not having any money right now sucks, I tell you.

Stopped by TRU in Beavercreek but they had no new HFTD, Genline, or PCC figures. They did however have at least 6 or 7 MP Grimlocks and 3 of the Green EZ Devestators.

Hey, y'all... Opened up the birthday present from the wife. She snagged a Classics Universe Hound with Ravage from eBay! That's really cool! I've had an eye out for it for a while... I'm gonna stop by the TRU up here and see if I can snag something awesome on the way home from work. That's it. Take care!

Maybe I exaggerated a bit in the last post and need to Clarify the locations:
Toys R Us: Montrose/Fairlawn: Voyagers- Desert Tracker Ratchet. Deluxe- Tuner Mudflap. Leader- Battle Hook Optimus Prime, Starscream. That is seriously all that's there.
Target: Fairlawn- Pretty much all of wave 1 of HFTD and Generations
Walmart: Fairlawn- Nothing new; stock almost out. More Mudflap
Target: Arlinton Rd, Green- About half of wave 1 available
Walmart: Arlington Rd, Green- All of wave 1 deluxes and a bunch of ROTF voyager Desert Tracker Ratchet and the Fallen. Both Mudflaps here.
Walmart Supercenter: Wadsworth- Same as Arlington Rd
I'll try to get back on the Wadsworth and Chapel Hill/Akron Targets, Stow/Cuyahoga Falls Walmart, and Chapel Hill/Akron Toys R Us

Very cool, Lucius--Hound and Ravage are great figs to own...and Ravage is an old sentimental fave, since he and Rumble were my first ever TF's, back in 1984.

Hey man great snag on Hound and Ravage, actually i'm getting ready to order the Henkei version and most likely sell my Universe Hound to someone.

On a different note, the TRU express in the Dayton mall has 1 TFA Roddy there and TFA animated voyager figures for $6.00 each! though they only had Lugnut and Blitzwing and HA BB and Barricade for $17.50 and they had 2 of each!!!

Update on Stow/Cuyahoga Falls Walmart: Still only wave 1.

Is it just me or does the Akron area get everything last or not at all?

I swung through Canton TRU and noticed they had the green legends Devastator in stock. They also had one Master Grimlock.

Well guys, i havent seen much out there, and i hope to see Blurr and Dirge real soon, but im sure it will be another 2 to 3 weeks before they hit!!! Other than that, i see tumbleweeds and the same ol' sh*t

Same here, Stock...same here. I'm going to resume hunting a bit on Thursday--I'll be able to hit the Walmarts in Bowling Green, Tiffin, and Lima all in the same day.

Well, just when I thought I was going to be able to get up and running my boss flipped and cut my legs out from under me. I've been cut back sharply in regards to hours and leashed so hard my throat hurts. I just hope I can get back into the game sooner than later.

The real kicker? My boss acted like a friend then served me up this plate of poo as strictly "a business decision." after telling me I did a great job. Talk about a hosing.

They only few wave 2 figures I've seen so far have recently shown up at a store in my area. Because I am paranoid and because someone raided the place after I gave an update on it, I will not say what store it is until I visit and make my purchases.
