Almost forgot to post this, what with all the new SDCC pics, but Prime Day was fun. So happy to now have the complete CW Bruticus, as well as the means to finish showing my girlfriend Beast Wars.

Not pictured: POTP Nemesis Prime, as I got him before Prime Day (and before I made my account here) because someone at Amazon done messed up. Since my OP is my original Armada Deluxe (one of my first figures), I have a similar headcanon to Roadburn in that Nemesis Pax came first before Nemesis Prime as a Decepticon warrior created by Shockwave from OP's DNA (or whatever the Cybertronian equivalent is), who then stole the Matrix from OP after a brutal battle, corrupted it upon contact, and then evolves into his Nemesis Prime form anytime he he inserts the now Dark Matrix into himself, which he can only do temporarily.

Prime day haul part 2 has arrived!

I had no intentions of getting this figure, but for $9 I figured I’d give it a try. I’d say it was worth the price for a good combiner torso and the fact that he comes with the tutti-frutti Gobstopper.

Finally my Abominus limbs arrived today. I didn't get Hun-Grr yet, so Cyclonus stepped up as the torso.

I gotta say, these deluxes are pretty sharp, both design and color wise. I opened them up one after another, and I was impressed by every one of them. Last time that happened was with the Aerialbots. And Cyclonus looks so good as the torso, I'm putting Hun-Grr on low priority for now. If I spot him in a store I'll get him, but there's no rush.

So yeah, overall, the Terrorcons are one of the best-looking gestalt teams in all modes.

It looks like Target is finally clearancing out the TLK line, after restocking the wave 1 deluxes yet again. Seriously Hasbro, how many wave 1 did you WAY over produce?

I don't collect the movie line, but Barricade always looked pretty cool to me, and at $10 (rang up lower than the sticker) he is generations-y enough to add another con to the collection.

Anyone who skipped/missed Leader Dragonstorm and wants one I'd recommend checking you local Targets. Mine had 4 at $25. Looks like my store had them at 50% off. I know this can vary from location to location.

Nice, I just tracked down Jazz today myself! Hooray for Target! That Bruticus is a fantastic one too, the Onslaught in my set had a couple panels glued together that I had to pry apart with an x-acto knife but other than that, easily me favorite Combiner.

A Mandrake order finally came in. And I'm pretty pleased. I got a :TAKARATOMY:

Botshot Thundercracker for my sealed TC collection. Plus Armada Thrust. But not any Thrust. The very rare Toy Dream RED version for only 2K yen! And finally, I'll never have the original G1 Victory Leo and Star Saber. So I settle for the Robo Masters version. The used set was still pretty expensive but worth the 7K yen I paid for.

Thrust is far from perfect but still a lot of fun. I randomly came across it on Mandrake and only after my order was done that it was confirmed that I lucked out big time! I was sure I was just getting the Powerlinx version, but no. I got a "botcon-ish" version for even cheaper! :shock:

As for Victory Saber, I'm pretty sure I got something that is pretty close to the original G1 toy, but miniaturised. All features are there including the brainmaster, weapons, and combining. That make for one cool-ass spaceship.

I'm pretty sure it scale pretty well with the G1 city bots. If not, he still look awesome next to Scorponok or Fortmax. So much play value in such a small package!

So I found this guy just hanging out on the shelf at the Augusta, ME T.J.Maxx tonight. So excited I had to do a Densh dash photo.

I can't remember if he ever turned up at US retail or not, if he did he was super rare. They also had wave 3 Bee. I actually already have Cogman, but this sort of softens the blow of the $30 I paid for that one. I'll be squirreling this one away as I doubt Hasbro will release him again and I don't mind owning a spare.

I also picked up Sinnertwin and Cutthroat at Walmart to finally finish off the Terrorcons (Cindersaur is in the mail).

Just came back home from Comic-Con. This is the first time ever that I got Hasbro SDCC exclusives! I've been going for like 12 years and the lines were always intimidating.

I got lucky and was able to buy Throne of the Primes Optimal Optimus for a friend.

Also, I ran into Ryan who I haven't seen in years and finally met Va'al!

I think I know which one you’re talking about. This one was $16, free 2 day shipping. I wanted the cardboard backing though. I’m a big fan of the bios and artwork. So the small difference was enough to make me choose the US version.

A CW Onslaught popped up on Amazon for $17.25 so I snagged that to go with the upcoming Blast Off. Now I just need to drop $90 to buy the other three. :roll:

(I have the UW version so I'm not Bruticus-less, but they're so different I've always wanted both.)

Oh! My Hasbro Toy Shop eBay order came in two days early. Nothing spectacular, just PotP Optimus Prime and Cindersaur. Prime was on sale for $43 compared to $50 on HTS, Cindersaur was full price, $10. Probably would have been cheaper if I did the newsletter trick, but I can't see where they're actually doing that right now, it isn't on the front page and not mentioned on the newsletter signup page. Maybe they'll bring it back after the SDCC exclusives have been up for a while since they don't allow coupon codes on exclusives and this reduces the angry emails.

I know this technically doesn't count as an actual haul, but AmiAmi just sent a payment request for Masterpiece Dinobot! He should be here within a week, I can't wait to open him up. Also should get Amazon exclusive Blast Off and a second Nemesis Prime around then too - I just couldn't resist displaying both Nemesis Prime and Pax at the same time.

Wow... My TrU have some NEW STUFF! Some Cyberverse garbage and a lone overpriced Predaking box. No new SS or PotP at all.

So out of spite and having missed the RiD version, I bought the Cyberverse 1step Blurr. Pretty nifty and ironically hard to figure out. 8-}

Look surprizingly good in both modes. I even used my July 20% off coupon before it expire. On a 14$ purchase. #-o

I'm with you and the sad face. I got the same packages plus Blastoff. I also just got charged by Anime Export for SoC Dragonzord and paid my friend back for the SDCC Megazord. Next cc bill is going to hurt.

By the way, did your Lego box arrive in decent shape? For mine, the box it shipped in looked like it got crushed a bit, and the Lego box, while intact, have slightly dinged corners.

You guys might be getting all those great amazon exclusives but guess what, at least I still find my toys in stores!

Anyways, got the G1 minibots (for a great price too, one of them was free due to a pricing error), wave 3 Prime Masters, Ultimate Megatron (review coming) AND I also got POTP Inferno. I did not really intend on getting him bu he literally cost me -2$ due to a coupon that was expiring soon so I cant say no.
