Whirl was originally the "Oberon Gazette" from the Armored Trooper Dorvack toyline, although the toy's dark and light blues were inverted for the Transformers release."

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sorry, it is indeed a KO. I tried googling "Kingdam" but it seems to be a common name in KO-land. Heck, a Dia-Battles KO is called King Dam![]()
There is a legit company called "KingDam" in Taiwan, but it has nothing to do with robot toys.

I suspected it might be...but since I got him for the price of a Big Mac I thought it would be worth it.

KO or not, they seem to go for serious dollars, on eBay at least. There's one like yours, in slightly better condition, up on eBay now for $179, and several Brownings have gone for $120-150.
Yeah, it reminded me of a zoid pilot, though a lot bigger. It appears to be something unique to this production rather than something that came with Whirl or the figure Whirl was based on.Tyrannotaur wrote:Kinda looks like it has a Zoid pilot figure, or at least something similar.
