Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Bonger wrote:Well, ok 3. I kinda count PM Prime and PM with pex as being 2 different TFs because I am sick like that.

Oh Ok, so what's up with that black one?
Leonardo wrote:Bonger wrote:Well, ok 3. I kinda count PM Prime and PM with pex as being 2 different TFs because I am sick like that.
I thought you meant Fire Guts, Nucleon Quest, original PM Prime (sans retractable fists and die-cast) and Super Ginrai / reissue PM Prime (with retractable fists and die-cast).

Nucleon Quest Prime, all black God Ginrai - JP TRU exclusive.

Ok, thanks, he's probably the most expensive one.

Those JP TRU exclusives always are.

Second-hand PM Prime + charcoal = easy fix!

Hell, I know you came here looking for advice, but surely you must be confused by now so, man, just take your time and get them all![]()
Once you start down the path it's inevitable anyway![]()

Leonardo wrote:Where are you based? Classics Optimus and Cybertron Optimus are still available at retail. Some collectors' stores (like Forbidden Planet) occasionally have the reissues of G1 Optimus and Powermaster Optimus.
Leonardo wrote:I think Galaxy Force Prime is the same as Cybertron Prime except the Galaxy Force version has black paint where the Cybertron version has blue.
waaaaghlord wrote:Yes and no. There's the original Japanese Galaxy Force release Galaxy Convoy which has the same colour scheme as the US Cybertron Optimus Prime (red and blue). There was also the US recolour Cybertron Galaxy Force Optimus Prime (seems to be what you're thinking of) which did indeed have the blues replaced with blacks. Not 100% but I may have heard somewhere that there were some changes to the cyber keys that came with different versions. Somebody else may have more info if that's the case.

Ya I'm feelin' that mate, I'm feelin' that! Basically as all the old toys ads used to say, "Collect them all!".
So that inevitably begs the next question: Who can I still get for retail? I understand I'll have to pay more now, but would appreciate if anyone could tell me what the toys were at RRP. That way when I go to Ebay or anywhere else I can know how much inflated the prices are.
I'm also confused because some of the names seem to refer to same moulds, for example Cybertron Optimus Prime and Galaxy Force Optimus Prime, same? I can't enter the toy galleries today at all (some stupid runtime error thing keeps window popping) so can't access the pics.Liege Evilmus wrote:(and yes, get those Megatrons too)
Don't be evil.
Bonecrusher27 wrote:Thanks guys, any advice on what would be reasonable prices to purchase these now?

That sounds a bit more accurate!
