These will be my first G1 figures since I was a little kid, and am greatly anticipating them.

I got Megatron and Starscream today and Megatron had no cap.

Encore Prime arrived yesterday in all of his pissing me the hell off glory.

The shoulder piece is warped to hell and back. His head sits angled on the shoulders and does not allow for proper transformation.

The smokestacks have chrome rubbed off parts of them and the sticker application sucks.

BLAh blah, Takara quality my F'n ass.

(and yes, I've contacted BBTS already and hopefully they're good enough to swap it out for another one.)

I hope they have one to trade for you, as well, Prime is currently sold out there, although they appear to have some complete sets, maybe they can take one apart for you.

Dang, that sucks, CP. I hope mine don't share those problems. But I don't think I'll have the option of exchanging them, as A3U's return policy is not the best. I guess I'll just cross my fingers, and hope for the best.

This will be my first of all those figures (I'm not getting SW, already got the TRU version), I'm especially excited for Megatron.

BBTS is being cool about it and refunding my money (though I'm not sure if I'm getting stuck with store credit yet...I did ask for a refund to my card.)

The thing looked ackward in the package. I thought, well, it might just not be transformed all that tightly, you know, Prime has a lot of little tolerances in his arms and shoulders.

but no... the piece of shoulder which houses the arm socket is warped and displaces his chest cavity. This means the head can not rotate around without getting caught on the protruding plastic.

I am seriously cursed to never have a proper G1 Prime.

My heart hurts from sadness.

You know, A3U hasn't got their stock yet... if you don't mind waiting longer, you might be able to get one from them.

I don't mind waiting and I'm up for getting the thing anywhere really. It just depends on if I get a refund from BBTS or store credit.

Does it look like a manufacturing problem or possibly happened during shipping? I had a figure once that seemed to have been shipped next to something very hot, the box as literally scorched and the toy was warped as well.

I got my Soundwave and Starscream today but cant tell you much about the figures because these are staying MISB, but the boxes looks great.

I'm thinking the same thing, but after what CP said, I am certainly going to inspect them closely to see if I can find any misaligned or warped parts.

I received my Encore Megatron last night in the mail.

I opened him up and he's beautiful. Shiny and everything fits together nicely. I don't know what to look for, but I saw nothing wrong with either the quality of the components or their assembly. MISBers sleep easy.

Oh yea, I got my set off of Amazon (apparently it comes from ToyWiz). I had left over gift cards which means I spent $25 for all 4, yay!

I have it, but I'm leaving Megs in there. There is an orange plug-the end of which is flush with the end of the barrel of the gun, and it looks kind of hard to get out, but who knows, maybe it will fall out if you turn it sideways.

Still waiting for encore Megatron from Tfsource. I'm hoping I get it soon.

I recieved encore sounders the other day, anybody else's sounders got a wonky faction symbol? Anybody know if it is possible to remove it in such a way that I can reapply it proplery?

is it crooked, mine is fine but the chrome around the function buttons wasnt completely covered in chrome.
