The Chaos Bringer wrote:I'm sick of not seeing them on store shelves. Where I live the Arcee BB Dreadwing wave never hit, the Allspark line never hit, Leader Megs and Brawl never hit, and none of the store exclusives hit. Literally all I ever saw was the June 2 wave, and that only lasted 2 days here.

PorQPine wrote:No, not at all, and frankly there is alittle too much whining about it on the boards anymore. This line is barely 8 mos old, and everyone is "tired" of it. Talk about short attention spans.
Energon and Cybertron were both 2-yr lines, with just as many repaints, if not more, than the Movie line. Some people here speak as if repaints never existed before the Movie. They have been around since the beginning of time, folks, and they will never go away. Get over it.
And, I do not see Hasbro as "milking" the line for all it's worth. It was the most successful movie toy line ever, and it makes sense to increase availability. I'm glad that they are releasing the Premeium series, and I am mostly very happy with the Allspark repaints so far.

I see what your saying but the problem is the Movie line just isn't that good. I have all of the cast of the movie now except bonecrusher, and brawl. Maybe popular, yes, but The toys suck. And they are cheap too! What is with the repaints? Why would anyone want to buy an unaccurate "nightwatch" optimus prime? If its not the movie colors why would I be interested?
And why are their voyager and deluxe versions of Optimus? Why wouldn't you just get the leader class?
My cat knocked off my 70's camaro bumblebee and his door broke off. The toy looks like crap anyway I'm contemplating throwing it awaay. Then theirs all these stupid extra molds out there....
And cybertron was ON THE AIR for 2 years too! And what annoys me is I'm ready to see some Animated toys on the shelves, and even though the show's been on for a month, no animated anywhere!
So yes I'm sick of the movie line. And even sicker of seeing the stupid movie toys ie, "movie replicas", and the "tech gear" or whatever its called. Oh yeah that stupid learning center thing, and then the Playschool Movie TF's. Yeah get this line over with, b ring back some toys with Articulation and detail again!

I wish they would just end the f***king movie series of figures and movie on to the next round of figures. Because if I see one more repaint of optimus prime I'm going to go stark raving mad. While a little way up the isle from the transformers movie figures they had the G.I. joe 25th Anniversary figures they were all new. I don't get why hasbro would keeping trying to push movie figures when they aren't selling as well as they used to. I would love to hear other peoples take on this situation.
