It's like Hasbro isn't interested in painting the hubcaps on vehicle modes anymore, making the tires look quite dull. Why is this? :BANG_HEAD:

To be honest, they haven't painted hubcaps on a regular basis for years and years. This is no big news. Sure, some here and there will have painted hubcaps, but those would be the exception, not the rule.

I'm just always surprised when Hasbro does this. I mean even Supreme Class OP has black hubcaps, which just seems weird. Oh well.

I've given up expecting Hasbro to go beyond the basic requirements for paint apps. More and more I seem to be relying more on reprolabels to fill out my figures.

Okay, looking at the PRID line so far...

Wave 1
Bumblebee - Unpainted
Cliffjumper - Painted
Optimus Prime - Unpainted
Wheeljack - Painted

Wave 2
Ratchet - Unpainted
Arcee - Painted

Wave 3
Knockout - Unpainted
Vehicon - Painted
Hot Shot - Unpainted

So its about 50/50 so far in each wave. Not great, but not an abandonment of the concept.

Pfft... unpainted is nothing. The real tragedy is when they stopped using rubber tires!
