One of the reasons I am seriously thinking about vaca in Japan next year.

In my opinion, that's a terrible reason. As I said, TFs are not very popular. There's an excellent chance that you would find nothing of interest to you (TF wise) if you were only here for a week or so.
Professor Smooth wrote:Look at God Ginrai. That was one of the single most wanted TF items ever. It got reissued (at a fairly reasonable 100 USD, iirc) and only the really die-hard fans bought it. You couldn't give those away. Places had them marked down to around 35 USD! I'd imagine the same would be true of a reissued Fort/Grand Maximus.

I snapped him up through HLJ at full price.
A few months later they were practically giving him away, so I snapped another one up and sold it to another Australian and made enough to bring the cost of my original down to the sale price.

I display mine in city mode with my WST in various places, which really look good on it.
IMHO you just HAVE to own Brave or Fortress, or your TF collection just isn't complete.
Just my opinion of course.
