Not really. If anything, it would have made it a whole lot worse.

Not to nit-pik at ya, but isn't having 3/4 of your body SAWED OFF more sever than losing your voice??! Frenzy was fixed instantly.
True; and Megatron was killed by the same cube instead of having his recent damage healed. There doesnt seem to be much consistancy with its behavior. Personaly I think the cube idea in general was stupid. Good thing the movie was about sweet action than a strong plot.

getting residual power from the cube allowed frenzy (possibly BB) to heal/regenerate. Frenzy is small, and has small limbs and what not so it doesnt take him a long time to regenerate when using the power of the cube.
but as far as the damage with megatron not being healed. remember the end of Beast Wars Season 2 when optimus primal merged his spark with that of the origional optimus. he was only able to contain it by transforming into a larger bot. Megs just wasnt strong enough

That answer makes no sense and is just kinda lazy. The book handled it much better. After Bumblebee is injured, he hands the cube to Sam and finds a way to rechannel signals and whatnot and manages to get out "Ggggooooo Ssssaaammm". I thought that had a lot more impact than him just suddenly being able to talk. The movie doesn't say how long his voicebox has been broken, but if you go by the prequels it is THOUSANDS of years. In that case, it wouldn't take a little laser to fix it. Also, he uses electronic squeaks and radio to communicate up til that point. WTF!!! I guess maybe in the movie his injury is a bit more recent? Who knows.
