Also know that two are in the show but we've heard no indication of toys being made of them so far.

At the Hasbro panel at Botcon they said that they were planning to release all of the dinobots. Some in animated and some in classics. Grimlock, Slag, and Swoop are in animated. So that leaves Sludge and Snarl in the new Classics/Universe line.

Hells yes!!!!
Either way, the fact that they're coming out at all is sweeet!!
I'm only really excited for Sideswipe as far as the Autobot cars, but I'm sure I'll end up getting them all eventually.
But then again, it may depend on how many of the Animated goodies I get.

I'm not all that concerned if the Autobot cars "look like, but aren't quite" the car models they are based upon. I don't know how close a vehicle as to come to a particular model of car to become a point of contention in a court of law, but if the rule of thumb is Classics Bumblebee, then there isn't much to complain about, IMO. As long as the characters look G1 accurate and have the poseability of a Classics Mirage, I'll be a very happy camper. If you want accurate scale, then stick with the Alternators line.

they will probably be pretty accurate and probably in scale but not as accurate as the Alt. line. Some of the G1 cars (figures) were at 1:37 scale whereas Alt was at 1:24 scale. I would like to see pics of the figures (even though I have seen the Twins) before I decide to get some of them in the Fall.

G1 cars don't have a uniform scale. They're a mix of many different scales.

Intresting note on the weapons for the new universe/classics 2.0 figures they will be more like movie landmine's. I guess what they mean by this is no more of those oversized missile they will look more like the old g1 weapons at least that is what I hope it means.

Wow! Landmine's weapon is so realistically awesome! IF all Classics 2.0 carries weapons like this, i'm gonna collect them all! :)

Can we back to the topic instead of dragging on about the size of the figures?

Yeah look at it this way you will be able to buy extra of these figures to do custom paint jobs and kitbash them so it will all be worth it in the end. Although I always say never say never when it comes to buying anything from the animated series because grimlock, blitzwing, slag and even the pictures of swoop look pretty cool.

I hope the new mold for Galvatron is true, I'd love to see him in Classics form and still have him turn into a plasm cannon.

Also, probably won't happen, but I'd explode if they decided to release a classics version of the G1 Predacons, would so totally rock my socks.
