I think it was actually a unused concept sketch for classics 1, then it got as far as being made as a prototype for titanium before the line was cancelled. While I would like to see it in classics I doubt it will be because Hasbro didn't think a flying saucer in packaging would sell well (I think they said that at a Con' way back).

how can a flying saucer not sell?
packing it in robot mode?
do the pack in saucer mode with the art in bot mode (Energon)?

I good friend of mine just send me this picture (along with so many more)... I have no idea whether a prototype, a "home made" version or whatever else, but Galvatron looks just awesome; the style looks like Jin Saotome one, but I am not sure at all

That is a custom made Galvatron. Whoever did this used the Energon Megatron (that turned into a Jet) and repainted it.

Here's a question for everyone--

Rank the first Classics on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best).

Then rank where you feel the new, not-yet-released Classics will rank on that same scale.

Now obviously, playability and pose ability can't be factored in yet, however, unless the new ones are total crap quality-wise, we could probably assume that the quality will be as good. Right?

I'm giving the first Classics an 8.5.
I really like the figures that were included, but I really would've liked to have seen better Constructicons, and at least 1 more Dinobot.

IF the quality of the new line is as good,
and IF we get a couple Dinobots, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, and Blitzwing,
it will automatically rank it at a 7+ (imo).
Why?
I'm not actually as excited about the other figures that are a part of the line.

Do you mean Octane and the Onslaught we've seen? I know you want a Blitzwing (even though he's in Animated and may not see the "Classics 2.0" treatment), but at least Octane is another triple changer, and a well-designed one at that.

I'd say the 1st line of Classics gets an 8.5 too, for the use of some easy repaints/recolors. Design-wise, though, the line was gold.

The new Classics to come? Right now, can't see anything below a 9, just on the strength of the characters we'll be getting and the designs that have been shown. Easily a line that I'll be completing, hands down.

Hi, well the art concept was send by a friend of mine today, I don't have a clue where he get it, nor my friend want to say, I wouldn't say for sure he will get Classics production line, unfortunately but it is a great idea!

For the other question, I rated Classics 1.0 with a 9.0 Constructions not that big disappointment, but they lack of one guy and not fully, per say accurate molds makes me thing that it could have been done better. For the rest of toys, in my opinion:
Are an enormous:
10 Mirage, Prime, Bumblebee, Jetfire, all seekers (including Botcon's)
Rated 9.5 Cliffjumper (not a 10 due to his head)
Rated 9.0 Grimmlock, Astrotrain
Rated 8.0 Megatron, Devastator
Rated 7.0 Ultra Magnus (I already stated that I hate Optimus white re-paints)
Rated 7.5 or below ??

Primus I want these new Classics to be out NOW.

Classics Galvatron would be such a great b day present :sad:

Oooh what else would be nice would be a Classics take on a Nemesis Prime mold. Hints of Optimus Prime such as an identical head but a slightly different alt mode would be nice. Maybe something like Scourge from Car Robots.
