The shoulder of Rodimus snapped when I pushed it down? And was hoping I could get an exchange for it. Lucky I still have the receit and it has been several months.

The last time I saw some were at a Toys r Us in Kentucky about 2 months ago. They had a ton of them. I don't think they were flying off the shelves so you may have to search a couple stores but I'd say you could probably find one some where.

It's going to vary by location. They're not still being stocked, but if like DJ86 mentioned, your local store got a lot of them and they weren't flying off the shelves, they might still have them. I would assume most stores aren't going to have them anymore, though.

Even if they did, do you really think they'll let you return a broken items you've had for months? If they did, there would be parents lined up out the door every day, returning old toys their kids broke.

There are ways around that... If you buy the same product, who's to say it's 4 months old? According to the receipt, you just bought it. I don't necessarily condone such things, but I also don't condone poopy product. Guess the question is was it the fault of QC or mishandling?

Well I only transformed him three times from robot to car and back ,but I barely played with him. Posed him a couple of times. Had to use the blowdryer three times to fix the stress marks on the two panels of the car roof. Also it doesn't have dust at all. Cause I kept him inside his near mint box pretty much of the time. Until today I adjusted his shoulder by lowering it ,and the shoulder rachet broke. I admit you can't do much with him. He's quite delicate. Even that part that broke off, it can't be replaced. Cause that shoulder joint has a pin that can't be taken out. Once that happens the toy is ruined. The receit doesn't have an expiration date. I did buy it around early September of last year.

Just say it was a b day present and you just want an even swap.

I've never seen him in a TRU around me (metro Atlanta). If I did, he might become my first MP!

Down here in Albany, GA there were about 4 on the shelf a couple of weeks ago when I was there.

Guess I'll have to go on the hunt around here!

K-Mart does as well, some places may have shorter 30 day policies.

Right, I went to the Toys r us I bought Mp Rodimus 6 months ago but they didn't accept the date on the receit. They didn't even have any mp Rodimuses on the shelf anymore. I'll have to find one at some other toys r us ,and then swap it for that one in order to get a refund. If I can't find one then I'll have to find a way to repair the shoulder which it is not easy to do since part of the inner shoulder post crumbled. Even Mp Megatron with his filmsy pegs is more durable than Mp Rodimus.

I couldn't find another at the stores I went to. To make matters worse I just saw a crack at one of the ankle joints. It is ready to snap off at any time, if I keep moving it. Boy that is 60 bucks down the toilet. Man, even the tru exclusive Mp Rodimus is a piece of garbage. He hasn't been fixed at all ,and is flawed like the TakaraTomy one. I might even sell it as a junker along with the box on ebay. I will just keep his rare target master partner offshoot aka firebolt. The next time when an mp figure is defective I will try to listen more ,and avoid it. Even if they said that they have fixed its issues. I'd avoid Mp Rodimus. Now lets see if Sideswipe turns out better.

Well, I have the 1st edition Takara version, and no problems. I also have 2 of the Hasbro ones, and no problems. If you want, I can sell you my MISB TRU Rodimus if you want to take another chance on him. Maybe you just got a bad piece? Or I can sell you my loose one, knowing it's solid. But then again, I use it for display only, and I transformed it only once to car and back to robot. Let me know.

I have been thinking of mailing mp rodimus to Hasbro for a replacement or refund. Would that possibly work?

Highly unlikely. You'd just lose the figure.
