I just love the Encore line. How much would have been to collect those tapes a year ago? About 20-30 for the 3 "lesser" tapes, and at least 50-60 for Ratbat...

I'm hoping to see Rumble and Frenzy in a set, then all the '84 Cons will have been encored.

am i missing something here...? unless a technicality like season 1 ran into '85, wasnt shockwave, the constructicons, and insecticons part of that line?

Actually according to my G1 identification guide, the '84 G1 series 1 Decepticons only included...

Megatron
Rumble
Ravage
Frenzy
Lazerbeak
Soundwave
Buzzsaw
Skywarp
Starscream
Thundercracker

so Alh77 is technicly correct :-B

The rest of the season 1 guys were all part of the '85 series 2 line.

I like the reissue, but I kinda wish they could have redone them like Ravage in Universe. It would have been nice to have more articulation in these guys, especially if they do the combiner cassettes.

I wish this set had Overkill insead of Ratbat, as I already have a Ratbat.

Also the price on these cassettes is too high, I know they have die cast and the economy is bad and blah blah but they're still just four tiny little toys, not much bang for your buck.

If these(and the other cassette set) are on clearance at the end of the year I'll be in for sure but I'm not holding my breath.

Umm, no, then they wouldn't be Reissues, now would they?

As for the price...48 bucks for all 3, whereas a G1 Ratbat with ears and gold weapons would probably set you back 70 bucks alone? This seems like a win win to me.
