[Edit] Oh, and size wise, these appear to be a voyager (or maybe even ultra. Looks pretty beefy in the review video) and some deluxes.

I made an executive decision not to include those. They don't count as Dinobots, far as I'm concerned.

The toy Peaugh has is a TFCon 2014 convention Exclusive. It's a different release as its in a Diaclone art box. The toy has different colors and Chrome paint on the toy. This exclusive does not come with the Weapons Master figure. Instead it comes with a microman figure that is just a robot and thats it.

That is sexy as hell.

Metalic Chrome makes the world of difference. This toy looks so much better with premium colors.

Work of art. Can't wait to have this guy on my shelf along with the rest of the FP Dinobots.

Why is Snarl last?! Ugh. Snarl should be in December and Swoop further down the line so those of us with Caelus can have all 5 Dinobots on a shelf by the end of the year.

I like it too, but unless they do the others in chromey goodness, and even then those will be con exclusives too...you're looking at having a mismatched set.

Wow, that's a proper 'Classics' Sludge . I haven't been a huge fan of most of FP's other efforts, but I've gotta give it to them on this. They really nailed the Dinobots, or at least what I've seen so far, they have.

I know you're talking in terms of size, but I can't help see the Stunticons here in terms of aesthetics.

FP definitely has their own style and look, and normally I don't mind it all. But their Sludge doesn't scream Sludge to me (in robot mode, anyway - dino mode looks great), and it's not just the Glacialbots pilot gimmick.

I don't know. I guess it's the same problem xyl360 has with the Function X line.

I think these Dinos are a lot more accurate to the source media than the Function X line. I love the FP headmasters I have, but these Dinos take the biscuit in the "feel" of Classics/G1/FOC Dino modes. They're likely not accurate to any official media, but they definitely do a better job of capturing the essence of the characters for me. Of course, I'm a guy for whom Chromedome was a near non-entity until he turned up in MTMTE so some of my views on the Headmasters characters might be a little skewed.

I had a G1 Sludge (minus Dino-mode head, thanks previous owner) and this bot mode looks plenty good to me. Lets just hope they're the first 3rd party to give us a Swoop with an actual face and without a beak-dong in robot mode.

I've already waffled and preordered him.

Just wish FP would find a new person to do faces. They always look so elegant, smooth and youthful. For Dinobots, I would expect something more rough and ready. Oh well. I know it will be good overall, so.

All we have seen of the mass release is a rendered drawing. Unless peaugh speaks Japanese, theres really no confirmation of what colors the mass release. Maybe we will get the chrome. Maybe the exclusive is just the microman figure and exclusive box art. Who knows ? Wasnt peaugh the guy who said that blue glyph repaint was an exclusive too ? I take what reviewers say with a grain of salt. They usually deal with the online retailers, not the 3rd partys themselves. The only guy I trust on insider info is Azim from renderform.

Am I right in thinking Jetfire was taller then the Dinobots?

Peaugh in this video review said the mass release won't have the Metalic Chrome. Peaugh gets loads of test shots to video review and is direct contact with most 3rd parties.

Not all of these 3rd parties companies are from overseas. Some are from America. About the only thing thats confirmed to be from overseas is the mold injection production assembly factories.

The American language is deemed so important overseas, Some are fluent in English. It's a important second language they get taught.

3rd parties are giving video reviewers test shots, not import sites.

Peaugh and his buddies have built up a trusted youtube toy reviews reputation with the fandom.

A big no thanks to that. I don't care how fast you get these toys or how many you have. I'll never take toy buying advice from a guy like yourself. who goes around this site starting trouble in every thread. With his negative recycled banter,Taunting, harassing others toy purchases. repeating the same annoying negative stuff 20+ times in each thread. cries, throws temper tantrums and has OCD fits of range when companies don't make stuff he wants. Some guess has mental problems.

You need to be nice, normal, respectful, don't start trouble, non harassing. to get fans to trust your toy opinion or video reviews. And quite blunt you don't have any of this. When nobody listens to your reviews, its the price you pay for enjoying acting negatively and starting trouble daily on a forum.

at first i was torn. PX or FP? ive already got PX's swoop, and like their sludge so far. and theyll undoubtedly fit better with FOC grim better than FP's. but i love everything about FP's sludge. so im not choosing. ill get both. the FOC's can all hang together anyways, while the FP's can sit in my classics display.

At first I speculated these CHUG Dinobots were going to cost $70 to $80. If their now going to cost $102 to $130, Then I might as well heavily consider getting the Fanstoys $180 MP Dinobots instead.

I'm in the same boat. Highly considering getting both sets. It really is a tough call.

Buying Five FP Dinobots at $102 each Equals $510. If I buy the FT MP Dinobots,I only need to buy Four as I already own Hastak MP Grimlock. Four FT MP Dinobots at $180 each equals $720. it's only a $210 difference in price.

Was willing to settle for the Cheaper CHUG FP or MF Dinobots if they were priced $70 to $80. Which would have equaled $ $350 for all Five.

Always thought the FT MP Dinobots were the most superior versions. As they look the most G-1, higher sculpt, superior materials and top notch engineering.

for me, These CHUG Dinobots looks as much like G-1 as the AOE Dinobots toys do.
