I'm pretty sure that almost everyone here on the forums easily has as much experience and probably more than me in the realm of TF collecting.
(I have a modest 39 figures in my collection)

So I was interested in getting peoples' opinions;

Good Guys

Favorites Toys- Optimal Optimus, Omega Supreme, JetFire(both g1), Cybertron Prime, G1 BumbleBee, G1 Metroplex.

Favorite Show- SilverBolt, RatTrap, Rhinox

Bad Guys

Favorite Toys- OverLord, TM2 Megatron, Wreckage, TM2 Scourge, Predaking, TidalWave.

Favorite Show- G1 Megatron, SoundWave, BW Megatron, Rampage

1. Decepticon character (not toy, character)
Starscream. You have to respect a guy who wants to stab you in the front.

2. Decepticon toy from ALL of the lines (with maybe a runner-up if you can't decide on one)

Optimus Prime

4. Autobot toy from ALL the lines (with runner-up if needed)
Masterpiece Optimus Prime, the first one. MP-1 with a silver gun

Classics. G1+joints=WIN!!!

My custom Punch/Counter Punch made from Sunstreaker.

7. Predict what your favorite Animated figure will be (and for those of you who aren't interested, maybe predict which one will be the "best")
Leader Class Optimus Prime.

Favorite Decepticon character: Movie Bonecrusher. Why? Because I admired the way he charged Optimus Prime without any fear whatsoever.

Favorite Decepticon Toy: Deluxe Movie Bonecrusher, durable, dependable, a truckload of articulation and an extremely menacing robot mode.

Favorite autobot character: Jazz. Why? I admired the way he held of Megatron in the final battle so that the soldiers/civilians and his teammates could flee in time.

Favorite Autobot toy: Movie Landmine. He's a well sculpted military vehicle and I love military vehicles. His robot mode is very menacing and His hands can bend and grab objects. I will boldly say he is one of the bestest tf designs ever (have mercy!).

Favorite Line: From the Tf game, Blackout at the boss battle: "You will never defeat us Autobot, you are doomed to destruction!"

If the Tf game is not allowed then Megatron from the movie: "You still fight for the weak that is why you loose!"

Favorite new classics figure: Tankor. Why? His alt mode is a C-130 Hercules type transport plane and a HEMTT fuel truck, Both are well sculpted military vehicles (from what I've seen from the Proto photos) and as mentioned above I love military vehicles.

Best/favorite Animated figure: I think ratchet will turn out to be very good. I might grab him.

3. Autobot character: Jazz

4. Autobot toy from ALL the lines: Classics Mirage

5. Favorite line: Beast Wars

1. Decepticon character: Starscream

2. Decepticon toy from ALL of the lines: Energon Divebomb

3. Autobot character: Sideswipe

4. Autobot toy from ALL the lines: Classics Mirage

6. Predict your favorite NEW Classics (Universe) figure: Sideswipe

7. Predict your favorite Animated figure: Deluxe Prime. He doesn’t look as corny as the rest of the animated figures.

Guess I'll throw mine out there:


1. Decepticon character: SOUNDWAVE (Looks cool, cool voice, interesting alt mode, and he has his own crew!)

2. Decepticon toy from ALL of the lines: G1 SOUNDWAVE or the CONSTRUCTICONS/DEVASTATOR (both are just so nostalgic)

3. Autobot character: GRIMLOCK (I always liked his toughness, his take-everything-head-on attitude, and growing up I was into dinosaurs)

4. Autobot toy from ALL the lines: PROTECTABOTS/DEFENSOR or CLASSICS VOYAGER OPTIMUS PRIME

5. Favorite toy line: CLASSICS (it's G1 done right)

6. Predict your favorite NEW Classics (Universe) figure: TANKOR or ONSLAUGHT

7. Predict your favorite Animated figure: GRIMLOCK or VOYAGER MEGATRON
