What a great figure. The only criticisim I have is the pale blue they used to paint his face and various other little parts of him. Were that blue to be replace by silver I think he would be perfect.
It never fails to amaze me how efficently the creators have engeniered these figures to make a smooth transition from a toon perfect bot to (in most cases) a toon pefrect vehicle. They truely are amazing.
So is ratchet just a repaint of ironhide with a new head? In the toon color and head shape are the only differances so Im guessing that they would follow suit with the figures.
I am so lucky to have a wife that not only understands my need to collect these figures but takes an active roll in my hobby. Anyone else have a wife/husband that enjoys toy hunting and buying with them?

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Different lines years apart,, same name, same character, very different figure.
So you see, its nothing personal against you, its just that its easier to immediately identify the figure you are referring to, if we know the actual line.
robofreak wrote:Cool it Gyrotron. I don't know why you have this insane need to correct everyone in a condescending manner, but it needs to stop.
He can call it whaterver he wants. He could have called it Neo Bob and the fandom would have been happy for him.
Also decepta-scott, congrats on getting the figure. I remember grabbing him at retail during the now legendary $7.77 deluxes.
I miss that year.

Yeah, and back then Henkei was running for about $18/each. Back then I thought it was ridiculous to pay those prices for a figure that could be had in the US for right about $8, especially factoring in any extra shipping costs. I didn't worry too much about the different paint apps, either.
I am now regretful of my rationale back then. It's getting difficult to buy SCOUT CLASS figures at $7.77 these days.
And if anyone wants to hear a real atrocity, do a search for Henkei Ironhide on e-Bay. Some guy has Voyager MechTech Ironhide for sale under the Henkei description/title.
