If I had that much cash, I wouldn't be stupid enough to spend it on this.

Not even remotely close. I would be shocked if someone bid over $5000.

No way in hell.

I love my Transformers, but there's no way I'd drop $1,000,000 solely on Transformers(of course if I had a million dollars, there'd be some set aside to buy a couple MISB Headmasters, Dinobots, etc. but no way would it be much more than 2 grand).

I had a 6th Grad Science teacher who said, "People simply do not understand the concept of 1 million anything."

He was and is, correct.

Lol don't waste a million on that! It is even more than a million, I would be surprised if someone bought... if he could even afford it.

The only way I would spend $1,000,000 on TF's like those is if they were AFA graded. Even then, I probably wouldn't spend 1,000,000. I don't care what kind of condition they're in, for the ENTIRE 1984-1991 TF collection, it's not worth over 5 grand. I've spent more than that opn my collection, but then again, I'm re-collecting some of them that are loose, out of box, & 20 years old. I'd never pay $1 mil for ANY TF, even if it is a 200 story Optimus Prime...........

In 1 or 2 years, Ill be filthy rich beyond words, thanks to a (justifiably) large lawsuit.

Yes, yes I would spend that much to take what must have been a burden to keep pristine off their hands, in a philanthropist kind of way.

THEN, I would scan (mentally and digitally) the items fully and return each back to the market.

(I love accuracy in the documentation of pop history).

So yes, there are those who would pay that much... just not yet. ;)

All I can say is WOW. That's alot of money for all those TF toys. I don't think anyone is going to be buying those. Way too much money for them.
Long live the Decepticons!! I love G1 Starscream!!

Don't tell Starscream, but I'm in love with movieverse Ironhide! ;)

No, it's not worth a million by any means. However, making light of it isn't exactly the right thing to do, all things considered. (Did anyone actually read the description? If true, it's terribly, terribly sad.)

I pity her for knot knowing it's way too much money for those items, none of them are priceless to the rest of us, but they are to her.

those collection is shitless, it don't even include the recent ones like masterpieces and all the ones by takara. this doesn't even worth a million, it might cost 10,000 for it but still it is expensive though.

Postby Koloth » Sun Jul 08, 2007 12:58 am

Well, maybe a bit high there. If not a million she could probably fetch 100K or more selling it peice meal. Plenty of peices in there that can and do go for up to $500.

The problem is in fact that she is selling it as a whole collection. We all know huge lots of figures rarely fetch the highest price. In fact often times there are figures in the lots that are worth more than the whole lot will go for.

True, to a normal person it's highway robbery.
But to someone rich, it's a very quick way of aquiring things at once... a matter of convenience.

She'll probably not get that (of course), but just like the lottery, it doesn't mean it's impossible.

Hmm. Not too smart. Large lots like that never go for what the person thinks they will. Better to split it up and sell each piece separately.

I was curious too.

$4.80 max listing fee + $0.25 for the Buy-It-Now option, +$0.35 for gallery option, + $0.15 for each picture except for the first one, which is included with the listing price. In this case, she only has one picture and the rest are linked to her web site. Listing total = $5.40 plus any additional extras (bold, subtitle, etc).

The final value fee, on the otherhand, would cost about $15,018.00. PayPal fees would be $19,000.30 or more depending on the seller's PayPal account.

how who wants to add up the price of all those g1 figs? that would give you a close estimate. i'm guessing all the figures, sold seperately, is maybe only over 100,000 bucks. maybe 150,000 if the seller worked the buyers for max worth price. but all the other stuff? it's like the movie garbage that's out now.
kinda tempted to get my calculator and tf price guide and start adding.
but then again, maybe i won't.
