HMW Damage Control ?
All these years playing and today was the first time I noticed this:
Now I'm curious if anyone else had and if so what kind of head canon you had about it.
Are the salvage crews just mindless drones?
Are they like Marvel Comics Damage Control crew?
Has anyone incorporated them into their stories?

I thought they were something that was already part of the game so never thought anything else about it. Though I could see them being netural junkions or even scavenger vehicons that just like collecting stuff and repairing it to whatever its base specifications are.

They're re-animated corpses of former staff.
Zombie Maximus Prime
Souless Alpha Strike
Braindead Crazyfists
Clueless Omega Sentinel
ummm...and some others that I can't think of because you know, poopy memory and all plus they probably weren't worth remembering.

I also had a theory that it was users after burn had "banned" them, in this case, meaning banning them from sentient thought.
But yeah, imagining them like the little friendly robots from batteries not included works quite well...until they turn hostile and cr stops working completely...

So many little duragrips running around ... I wonder how they're getting on with their new friend Rated X.

The other day when he declared he preferred the site years ago when there were no foreigners on staff and there were less foreigners around and he could talk freely as an American.

Was there another version of War Hammer? I thought inebriated was his default setting.
