Autobot Strider wrote:Cool, nice find! That figure hasn't been available for years (I bought Prowl when he was out, and that was a long time ago!) Now that I've got the Generations Red Alert (same mold as Streaker) I have a newfound respect for that toy and would have bought it on sight. Especially for that price!
decepta-scott wrote:Do you know how many other figures, if any use that mold?
Gandalf wrote:Edit: Found this on Allspark via google image search.

Blast Cannon wrote:This thread is brilliant. Duragrip you are a gloriously weird sexual deviant and I love it.

Dead Metal wrote:Have you ever, and i mean ever seen/read/heard something that is completely original and does not copy/homage/pay tribute to something else? Here's a hint: Nope. You never have and you never will.
Gyrotron wrote:It's been about 5 years since the classics line, and, I beleive, 3 years since the Universe Line? I didn't collect much from that line. Anyway, yes, that's a lucky find. Even I'm impressed, I wasn't lucky enough to find Sunstreaker or Sideswipe at all when those lines were out

Are you aware that we have the best galleries right here on Seibertron.com?
decepta-scott wrote:Oh man. I just saw what I suppose was the henkei verson of red alert and he not only has the more accurate paint job, but sports the shoulder mounted cannon as well!
I can live with the paint change. That isnt serious at all. Its the lack of the annon that really smarts. Its reds trade mark look ya know?
Why do the easterners get all the good paint apps and propper weapons.
Im still smarting over the white astrotrain. Japan has the accurate and cooler looking grey and purple and were stuck with white. If it aint grey it just aint astrotrain.
Matter of fact I think Im gonna go bid on a henkei astrotrain. Maybe my wife can win me one for 40 dollars or so.

The shoulder cannon is merely his gun plugged into the hole in one of the shoulder hinges. All versions have it, including sunstreaker.
