I Got a New TV
Hey Everyone I just joined the HD revolution. I got a Samsung DLP HL-S5087W Sorry no pics. Remember when you could buy a new TV plug it in the wall and you where good to go Now you have to buy $30+ cables, Get a new Cable package (unless you have Freinds at Comcast), know the Difference Between 720i, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p, and a degree in engineering to get your picture right.
My gamer tag is PHATEGODPRIME Im too lazy to put the little fancy one here.

Eh it's really not that hard to get it all down. Cables are cheap as long as you don't by Monster or anything from BestBuy/Circuit City. And the DVD 'Digital Video Essentials' is a must if you want your TV tuned correctly. Takes you step by step explaining what everything means and it helps you calibrate everything. Takes about an hour and can be quite boring. But well worth it.
If you need any help I'm always willing to give it.

I'm honestly not sure. I know Time Warner (adelphia) outputs in 720p and 1080i but no clue on 1080p. My TV doesn't support it so I never looked into it.

Yeah...... it could be a cable maze, behind modern TV in HD's
Yupp, but since I am into technical stuff like wirring car stereos, RCA's cables and power wires, that is all interesting to me. But Sometimes my patience gets better of me though. Then I need a beer, and then I finish what I started. LOL.
