I'm worried...

Postby Uniprimus » Wed Sep 05, 2007 9:27 pm

I am worried that the paint is going to melt off my transformers in my room. It is one of the warmest rooms in the house, being at about 75 degrees. Is this an ok temperature and if notwhat should I do????

That's not hot enough to melt the paint.

I'd be more worried about the humidity's general effect on your figures.

Not much you can do about humidity though.

Actually 70 - 75 degrees would be an ideal temp to keep action figures in. Not even close to high enough of a temp to harm your figs. Like stated above, humidity would have a worse effect in that any metal parts may rust or stickers could start peeling. If you don't have humidity issues, 75 degrees will be fine.

Motto: "Run away! Run away!"
75 degrees is freezing! I have mine set at 79 and that's a little on the cold side. Then again it's 110 outside.

Actually, I mesn to soften the paint so it comes off easier. That's what I'm worried about.

I doubt that 75 degrees is hot enough to soften the paint or any of their parts, even if you live in high humidity. Now if we're talking 90 degrees and up then you might have some problems (warping, peeling).

If you're worried about 75F then I'm screwed seeing as how my house goes from 79F to 82F.
