ok, now I don't get it. The admission is 100+ dollars? Or is that just for the exclusives?
What is the basic admission for the convention? without exclusives.

$10
But you don't get to come in until the day after all of the package holders go through on the preview night.

no joke. that's more than i would have EVER thought.
Hasbro. More Than Meets The Wallet.
LOL
It's funny because Hasbro has nothing to do with it.
So who's really taking care of this thing?

With my luck, I'll get on the Ramen Noodle & tap water diet and actually manage to save enough money to finance a trip to Botcon... Then it'll fall on inventory week at work and I'll never be able to get the time away from work.

You're smoking crack. I am far from elite, but I do have the ability to save money.

Everybody have the ability to save money. But only the rich can easily spend that much money for that kind of convention.

Air fare to the US, hotel costs and the cost of the convention itself are well outside what I could afford if I lived on air.

For anyone who hasn't seen Spotlight: Sledge (and why not?!), my gritty and dark fanfiction piece "Holiday" is posted here.

Dude, you missed my point. I am not rich. I'm just an average dude. Saying that Botcon is only for the elite is like saying that Disneyworld is only for the elite. It's out of state for a lot of people, and costs a lot of money to go to. And yet each year millions of people go to Disneyworld. I'm willing to bet that not everybody that goes there is rich. They can't have Botcon in everybody's living room.

It hasn't been announced yet.

This brings up my thoughts on it hopefully being near the Great Lakes so I can go next year. I'll be going with one of my helmets on, a backpack filled with random items I found around the house to intrigue people with and a Soundwave shirt that has a nametag saying "HI! MY NAME IS THEMUFFIN!"
Crazy **** will go down when I show up.

You're right. That's where it was. But it was there for one reason. So they could have the Tour of Hasbro along side the preview screening for the movie. Next year there is no movie, so no Hasbro. So I'm hoping they'll keep to the temperate climate and pick Michigan or Illinois.....Or Ohio and allow me to save on gas.
