Two days ago I sent a question to Kate about the status of the last two Dinocasettes (since I got my confirmation over two weeks ago and hadn't heard that anyone's was shipped yet). It seems that the WSTF Blaster KO freebie that was to come with it held them up so they sent my order without it. For those interested they also say I can have him with my next order (if I ever make one).

Anyhow, I got a tracking number for my order and according to that it was sent out on the 20th. Good news for anyone who ordered them!

I also ordered a wack of casette cases so I'll post about those if nobody else does when they come.

Got my second set of KO Dino-cassettes yesterday and they are money! The only issue with them was that I had to slightly trim some of the stickers and the back of the boxes were printed upside down, not that I care about that anyway.

Glad to hear it! Mine went out on the 20th. What shipping option did you choose?

I wonder if the backs are upside down on all of the second sets? That'll thankfully make it easier to discern real ones from KOs.

I guess they just forgot to send me my info! Oh well, if they forgot to tell anyone else they'll know it's on it's way and not lost in the abyss.

I picked the slowest option because it was cheapest. I can be patient.

I finally got my shipping notice today, a full forty days after I ordered. So because I'm a cheapass I have to wait until after Valentine's Day to give my friend his Christmas present! He ordered iGears notHuffer & notSeaspray for me after New Years and I got them last week but his Reflector is taking two and a half months!

Really? There would be no KOs if not for Hasbro/Takara making the originals in the first place. The only KOs I want are the exclusives that go for stupid ebay prices like SG Rodimus. While I dont really have issue with KOs, I think its funny to defend a KO site getting shut down. Sell KOs of anything at your own risk I say.

They always took care of me. KO toys will be missed dearly. I wish we could just get rid of Hasbro instead.

I ordered 2 of the Reflectors on Dec 19, they only ship them after I bring up a Paypal refund (around day 40 of Paypal's 45 day refund window) and the tracking number hasn't updated since Jan 24, nearly a month ago, while people who ordered things only available after my order and using the cheapest shipping got their stuff a week ago.

I think I'm f*cked.

its because china post is changing alittle atm and also some things do take AGES to arrive via the slowest method

my 1st order took absolutly ages to arrive (over 50 days) because of the fact i used the slowest method and also because china post is changing the way it works right now.

My 2nd order was sent on the 1st but was held by china for 15 sodding days before they even sent it on the plane headed to the uk. Im looking at waiting ANOTHER 15days for the sodding uk postal service to get it to me

in short just be paitent and wait because you DID pick the slowest method of shipping. China post isnt that great when you choose the slow route. just wait and it will show up

I'm on day 62 and it's not even in this hemisphere yet. When I first asked Kate about when it would ship right after Christmas (one of these was supposed to be a present, a late one but still) she said it would ship the first opportunity of the new year. It then didn't ship until Chinese New Year a month later which I guess makes her technically correct. I won't say that I'm glad what happened to them happened but I wouldn't be using them again after this even if they actually had something that I want. Hell, I'm not waiting this long for the TFCC figures this year!

I realize that I'm just complaining but that's because there's really nothing else I can do about it right now. At least here, I'm complaining to people who might care.

If it makes you feel better my tracking number never updated after it reached that place in China and I got my last KO Toys order last week or so. I also chose the slowest method of shipping (and I live in Canada if that makes a difference).

Day 38 since it supposedly left China and 74 days since ordering. Is there anything you guys think I should do at this point? I've been waiting a full month longer than anyone else that I've read about online and I am really pissed off at this point.

Contact them. When I'm desperate I cc every single e-mail I have on hand relating to them (about 6 e-mail in all, I think). You might want to ask for your money back.

You can file a paypal claim and force their hand.

My understanding is that you only have a 45 day window to get a refund through Paypal and they waited until it had almost closed to ship the order. The slowest shipping is estimated to take up to 35 days and they waited longer than that to ship. Believe me, it is only the rules of the forum that have been keeping me from really going off about them here for months now.

I hate to say it, but I think your shipment might have gotten lost. That happened to one of my orders. They set it straight, but they're not in business anymore. Unless others are still waiting on their stuff your goods might have suffered the same fate as that one of mine.

I live in Italy, so to me 45-60 days are normal for a slow shipping from China. However this is due mostly to the notorious Italian customs, I don't know how US customs are as far as delays are concerned.

They waited over a month to ship it and it's been well over a month since it theoretically left China. The longest I've ever had to wait for a package that was actually sent was 2 weeks regardless of where it was from. China, Thailand, Taiwan, the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Peru, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Holland, Italy, Spain, Turkey, I've gotten packages from half the world and I've never had to wait like this. It still isn't even up to US customs yet. It's like they stuck it on a raft, pointed it west, and shoved it off the shore.

Well, it was a preorder, so the shipping wait's expected.

Other than that I agree, their slow shipping option was really slow. The casettes are out in the wild now, though. You should be able to find them somewhere.

Sorry if you're not talking to me but I ordered the Reflectors. And people on TFW who ordered after me got theirs months ago, before mine even "shipped".

Paypal let me open a claim on it but it's been too long, almost by design on KOToys. They also aren't responding to my emails about it so at this point I kinda wanna

damn, I thought yours shipped when mine did. They did take a while to ship out my own order, but not a month. Maybe about a week or two.

Recently I got concerned when an item I ordered off ebay stayed in one place for the last 3 weeks. I contacted them and they cleared it up. Now, that was for Mexico, but maybe if you contacted the Chinese postal service they could find out what happened? Even if you have to use a poopy online translator it might be worth it.

I don't expect you'll be able to contact them. They seem totally out of business. The security certificate for their site doesn't even work anymore.

Will the site physically not allow you to file a dispute anymore? I'd still try to open a dispute anyhow and just explain the situation...how they claimed to ship right at the cutoff and so on.

I did that and I got a "too bad, so sad" autoresponse from Paypal. So I have an open dispute they have no intentions of following up on.

Assholes...both KOtoys and Paypal, but more so KOtoys.

I received a smashed and mangled box from China today! A full 91 days after ordering (or more than double the Paypal refund limit and triple their estimated shipping time), I got my Reflectors. After this, I'm not dealing with them again no matter what they're calling themselves!
