The robot mode is excellent but I have too have a couple of problems with brawl. Firstly there should be a more secure way of attaching the side pieces than those clips at the front. Secondly he's a bit of a spring-loaded shell-former, as the robot just folds inside the wrap-around pieces.

Not trying to put people off though. I certainly like mine enough to keep it.

OK, despite the problems is he at least better than deluxe Brawl? Now *that* thing is a huge piece of shite

I got Leader Brawl last night, and admittedly have only futzed with him for a little bit, but I really like him. I like Deluxe Brawl and I even enjoy FAB Brawl, so certainly my opinion counts for nothing with many people, but while my Leader Brawl had cannons pop off and the side panels popped off when in tank mode (because I didn't follow the directions all the way), I think he's a fine toy. Sure he's got problems, but I like the figure enough to deal with them.

Remember when we weren't so combatative in the forums? What happened to the good old days when one could voice their opinions without getting berated? Oh well, I must be getting old.

Me thinks you know little about good Transformers. The upper turret cannons are MEANT to be detachable so you don't break them. As for the arm cannon, I really don't know how you were able to achieve this level of destruction. Either you don't read instructions, which is not very wise and caused half of the '77 BB fiasco, or you play really, really rough with your stuff, which is equally bad.

I like FAB Brawl, too...miles better than the Deluxe, just because of hte stupid arm-tab issue on the Deluxe.

You know what, I must have the only good quality Deluxe Brawl in existance, becuase I really like it and really don't have too many problems with it. Yes, the shoulders aren't very sturdy on mine either, but it doesn't bug me that much. Oh well, I was also able t ooverlook the shoulders issue for Classics Grimlock too. Maybe shoulder problems just don't bother me that much.

I just opened him last night and had many of the same problems. The top right panel wouldn't stay for nothing! All the panels did finally stick after really squeezing hard on the sides to make sure everything was properly in place…after that I didn’t have a problem. And his head seemed to be off a click or something…I pushed it in with my finger and it clicked a little and now it seems to work a lot better. I dunno, I’m not overly impressed at this point either, but I've only transformed him to tank and back once and hope it will get better after a couple more run-throughs. But I do have a feeling the issue with pieces easily falling off isn’t going anywhere...
