I've asked myself the same actually. I believe (and it could be wrong, but does make a whole lot of sense to me though) the reason some lessons are harder than others is to not only make us humble, but it does help in learning something from it to take away to be a better individual overall. It adds much needed gravity in the end.

I've definitely not had it easy myself with things, but it makes me appreciate what I have, what I don't have more, and try to be better in the end. That's really all anyone can do.

I'm really happy about this because there really isn't enough representation for F/F couples. I see a lot of M/M and M/F ships but the question has always been: Where the heck are the lesbians? I can imagine how frustrating it must be to be lesbian and not see many lesbian couples in media. I think we are headed in the right direction.
