Look at this BS (Group claims toys from a PG-13 movie is inappropriate)
Maybe Toy Cars should be banned because they're used in porn.

Sounds like some mighty poopy porn.
Unless you're simply a little confused about what porn is? If so, plz PM for details.

That's pretty lame. They never complain about the Marvel pre-schooler toys!
And does it seem like they're making it sound like a horror movie to you guys, too? The Decepticons aren't bloodthirsty, they'll just do anything to get the Allspark!

What a joke. Is it all that hard to ask that idiots like this just stop breathing?

"Consider the knowledge dropped."
From ToplessRobot.com:• "Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is marginally better than sh***ing your pants, but it takes a lot longer." Very well put.

Bitching about a PG-13 movie being marketed towards kids.
HELLO CAPTAIN OBVIOUS!
Of course it's aimed at kids!
1.) It started out as a kid's property, it remained that way, and it will continue to do so. (Adults just happen to enjoy it as well, and vicariously relive their youth through it.)
2.) It covers a broad range of ages in the audience, so of course kids will be included.
Wow. Do they not have anything better to do? How about correcting some real problems for the kids? Like..oh, I don't know...
A sorely lacking educational system?
A defunct medical coverage system?
A promise to keep them fed and protected from the real problems and dangers of the world?
Nope. Let's bitch about a movie, with toys tied into it.
Why? Because, damnit, that's far more important than whatever else ails these kids these days. Besides, anything more important might tax us, and well...f*ck that.

You're right, but their bitching affects everyone. Therefore, he has every right to care.
It's ridiculous that we have to put up with stupid sh*t like this, they should be more concerned with far more important issues.

I didn't think it was violent enough. Heh.
Though, I was greatly pleased.
The vultures of morality are already circling in NZL, though, I've heard many a pleb claim it too violent and nothing short of a sales pitch.
I mean, seriously, what the hell do they think movies are? One big sales pitch, it costs money to get into Sherk, so by their screwy logic, lets ban Sherk for its blatant commercilism!
I'm going to go see it again tomorrow just to spite those complete strangers!!
(And I've already seen it 5 times).

"...a menacing array of cars and planes..."
Oh, no, everyday vehicles?
Please. Stuff like this is so stupid. 3 year olds aren't going to get up and see the movie by themselves, so if they do see this, then it will be their parents' fault. Shame on Hasbro and Hollywood for wanting to make money off of a movie, though. Those bastards.

You mean that there wasnt a mini porno in the movie?? I mean with Sam's "Happy Time"
ON a real note tho, I kinda agree with it.. I mean there is reason that higher rated movies are higher rated (just think about Orgasmo, Its rated NC17 and the movie protrays a little boy playing with action figures that would be from the movie. Would you want your kid playing with toys that have to do solely with a NC17 movie??), but in this case, just take the "movie logo" off the box and its just another TF toy...

Here comes a shocker:
I agree with the group.
Perhaps they are overreacting with some kids, but this movie is quite intense. It also contains references to things that parents might not want their children too see.
So now comes the age old and very valid arguement, "The parents should do some parenting." Yes that's true, and that's exactly what these poeple are doing. They are concerned, so they are doing something. You take your kid to see an action movie, and then you're forced to deal with it when he starts mimicking Bernie Mac and that fat hacker by yelling "I'll smack you upside the head bitch!" and "SHUT UP GRANDMA!" These are trivial things really. Nothing a few spankings can't cure, but why have to deal with it at all from TF's? I'd be embarrased and angry if I took a child who looked up to me to see the movie and that **** started flying from the screen.
I'm not saying every kid would do these things. I'm just saying this group does have some kind of validity in its concern.
The movie is PG-13 for a reason, and marketing it to young toddler age kids is wrong. Taking them to see it, maybe, maybe not. But drawing them in with ads might not be the best idea.
Everyone just thinks it's cool to say "to hell with yet another moral crusade group," but they aren't actually looking at the situation. It's not for little children, and therefore they should not be exposed to it.

You do realize this is no doubt a liberal group?
To Dark Zarak-
Without the increase in cursing and human death. The original movie was just as violent, and destructive. So i'm not really seeing the point.
And its a parents privilege and judgment that makes this finally decision, not some stupid as group that no doubt thinks Nerf guns bread violence.

Well, I loved the death and violence of the original when I was 6 year old. I didn't even care that Prime died.
But that has nothing to do with this. It's me, and it's another movie. The point is that these parents have a valid concern about not targeting children with things that aren't appropriate for them.
Regardless of what other movies did, it's still a valid concern right now. That was the past.

I'm not shutting down your decision in any way, seriously.
I'm just saying it's up too a parent to make that judgment, without the help of some fundamentalist group.
I have two kids and I would take my son too see this movie.
I also feel you can't hide your children from the fact that this world is a very violent and hateful world. It's impossible to hide them from that at all times.
I wish I could protect my kids from all the bad things in life, but that is a fruitless venture.

"Shia LaBeouf, has said in interviews that Steven Spielberg, the executive producer, narrowly avoided an R rating."
Damn it. Why couldn't have been an R rateing. That way there would'nt have been little kids there.
That hole article is bullshit and those people need a good hit to the head. Im tired of parents blameing video games and movies on there poor parenting. When i was growing up my parents or grandparents would go see the movie first than decide if it was ok for me to see it. When Aliens came out i had the toys and wanted to see the movie but my mom saw it and said i had to wait untill i was older. The same with Terminator 2. My grandfather went to see Jurassic Park and he said it was ok for me to see. Looking back i agree with what they did. Most parents these days expect evrey one to do the parenting for them. It some times shames me to be of the same species as these moronic flesh bags. Just becasue of this i love the movie even more. I dont know why but i do. When i see it again im going to count how many kids there are. Maybe ill even asked them why they are there and ask if the parents researched the movie.

^ Brings up the Alien fig.. I remember the original Alien fig I got eons ago.. It was a bloody violent movie and yet no one bitched then.
Funny, I don't remember anyone bitching years ago when they put out the Demolition Man figures, Starship Troopers or the Robocop figs..
Even when they had that Robocop toon it was based off one of the most graphic movies of the time (if you have seen the unrated Robocop you know what I mean)

Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

All that I'm going to add to this is that I can't stand these people whose sole purpose in life seems to be to police mine. I am expecting a child next year, and I would take them to see the movie in a second. While there may be a lot of violence in the movie, there is an overall healthy theme. And guess what, most kids won't get some of the sexual innuendo. You should teach your kids right from wrong from the beginning and not let TV and movies parent them.

I had (and have) toys from all those movies. Back in the day the internet was just starting and no one cared. Pluse i think parenting was a little better back then. Pluse TV wasnt as bad as today and video games just started. So there was really no need to bitch. And if there was no one knew about it. I miss the good old days.
