I have a metrolpex tjhat's in very good condition, rubber tires, ncie and white, the whole 9 yards. However, one of the ears is snapped off, is there any way to fix that?

Superglue if the plastic isn't warped or showing white stress marks.

I am assuming that you are referring to G1 Metroplex right??

I think if remove the head of the toy (you'd need to take apart the upper torso to do that), there's a screw on the underside of the head that will allow you to detach the top part of the head and remove the ears/antennas and make the repairs.

I did it on my Metroplex a while ago so I think those steps are right, if you need to go that far.

yea, and at that point if you're a perfectionist, pick up a junker and replace the head or just the ears

Yeah, it is a G1. Only problem with the super glue idea, I never had the other piece of the ear. Bought it on ebay "as is" and of course the guy pictured it so you can't see it. Guess I'll have to look into to how the top section comes apart, and myself a junker to replace the head.

It's actually extremely easy. There is one screw that holds it together. It's on the back of the toy right below the push button for the head spring. Just be careful taking it apart so you don't lose a small few pieces that are likely to fall out.
