i dont know if porn will make a difference this time....porn is so easy to get these days especially online and then its all over PPV television with its own dedicated channels and then (least in my case) the movie channel in my city plays it nightly and its actual XXX porn too, not that softcore stuff where naked people pretend have sex...oh and thats free.
i just dont think the home video market of porn will have that huge an impact on the outcome of this "war".
dont get me wrong i'm well aware porn makes billions yearly on the home video market alone but its just a different world and so much easier to get ur hands on.
Perhaps, but that still doesn't change the fact that without a 1080P HD PLASMA TV that is 50+ inches with the ability to sit 12-14 feet away you still won't see the difference between HD-DVD and BluRay. That's a fact.
And with Billions being put into making HD-DVD's just from the Porn industry, trust me, you're going to see a difference.
The fact is, Blu-Ray is not consistantly outselling HD-DVD. One or two movies is not consistant. The realy numbers are a lot closer than some of you even know. This war will last a lot longer than most people think, and in the end, unless BluRay drops it's price in half in the next year, HD-DVD will be the clear winner. Money talks and most people will pay 500 dollars for something nearly identical to 1000 dollars. Besides, most people can only sit 5-6 feet, 8 tops from their TV's and I don't know too many people who can afford to go buy a 1080P HD Plasma TV for 4000 dollars.
