I have them, though, and they are a worthy subsitute until you can get the real thing, that is if you want the real thing.

I have the E-hobby Rm set, and the RM two pack pearlescent set, and they are very fun too, but yes they do fail in comparison to the sheer size and magnitude of the vintage version.

I suggest if you have the means to get one at some point, do it!

Well, I got the last of my Botcon Purchases out of their boxes. I have them all displayed on top of my parent's entertainment center(looks like tfpradaking's living room). I"m sure my mom loves it(hah hah). I didn't get a chance to stop at home between botcon and going to my parents, so I brought all of my new stuff along. My favourites are still the Games of Deception box set and the Alpha Trion figure. I got some cool Beast Wars II and Neo figures as well. They were pretty inexpensive(the most I paid was $30 for a VS pack of a horse and a dinasaur/bird thingy) they are all japanese, so I don't know their names and cant read them off the box. PQP knew most of them, but I don't remember what he called them

well, it's almost fireworks time... round two of the drinkin'! whooo!

We went and saw the movie last night, it was a last minute thing. I had a **** day and thought that would make it better, the movie was great - waiting in line was not.

I picked up the wave 2 basics at the South Lansing Target. I also picked up the movie soundtrack.

We went to the Okemos Target and TRU, both had nothing. The Okemos Target didn't have the wave 2 basics and no new Robot Heroes.

The West Lansing Target had nothing as well.

The Eastwood Wal-Mart in Lansing had at least 16 Decepticon Sneak Attack sets out and some of those Wal-Mart exclusive Optimus Prime blasters.

Other than that nothing new anywhere :(

I have been looking for the new wave of deluxes but I haven't seen anything yet. Lansing sucks for the most part and we pretty much stopped going out of town (besides the occasional trip to Jackson) because we are closing on the house July 20th and money is a little tight at the moment.

When I get the toy room all setup, you will have to come over and check it out :)

Found the WWI two-pack and Movie Desert Attack two pack at TRU in Westland.

Also, the Walmart on Ford. Rd had the Robot Heroes decepticon attack 5 pack.

Also, saw the jazz t-cracker two pack at both places...

I'm so sick of being broke. Wait, scratch that, I'm sick of budgeting myself. I have piles of money that I'm not allowing myself to spend so I can get my ass back into school. Hopefully, by next year, I'll have most of my stuff stable enough to go to BotCon.

Hey Andrew, are you setting up at the con this sunday? I don't think Joe and I are but I'll probably swing by to hang out for a while. Maybe I can even scrape together a little cash to spend this time. Man, dating a stripper is expensive.

Damn, I thought I saw you there. By the time I realized it, I didn't' see you anymore. I was there Saturday & Sunday. I just got back last night. Me and my wife went to Cape Cod, Boston, & Niagara Falls/Buffalo after the con ended.

I didn't have a ton to spend on toys because of the rest of the trip so I stayed away from the G1, I did pick up Springer / Huffer, Pepsi Prime, Revoltech Prime, WST Jazz & some SCF PVC's I'm missing. Oh yeah, and 4 BK Transformers from the trip. I love ordering a Kid's Meal and then asking for a specific toy, the employees reactions are priceless.

I'm still kicking myself for not getting my Primus package order in before it sold out.

How did everyone else fair? Any good deals to report?

Clear Mirage showed up today from eBay. I got a pretty good deal on him I think ($64). It was cheaper than going to RI and paying for a hotel, that's for sure :)

I can't wait for the Transformers Club to ship me the box set I pre-ordered months ago!

TRU in Okemos had 5+ of the Prime w/ Matrix & Unicron and Jazz & Thundercracker Robot Heroes.

Target in Okemos had 2 of each set too.

Saw the movie for the second time this evening. Just as good. Nice to be able to look at the scenery more, the background and so forth.

And of course, it was just as kick ass as the first time that I saw it!

Got back from botcon late on the 4th, we did a little more vacationing out east after the 'con. I didn't actually get that much. I got all the exclusives sans the Vector Sigma, looked too plasticy, and I bought a Pepsi Prime. That was it. My dad went with me so we ended up getting 2 Target gift sets, totaling $30 in gift cards. I got a shirt I made signed by Kaye and a MP-4 box, Leader Prime Box, that newer Wal-Mart G1 Poster, and a Optimash, for my friend, signed by Cullen.

I went into Target yesterday to see what I could spend those gift cards on, and ended up seeing Leader Megatron sitting on the shelf staring at me. He was the only one and he looked kind of lonely, lol, so I ended up picking him up. I wanted him anyway to be in scale with my prime. After you take the spring out of the gun and put it into the other arm, he really isn't that bad a toy. Defiantly worth the 12 or so bucks I payed for him, because of the gift cards. I'd say pick him up when he inevitably goes on clearance. Now all I need to do is buy a legends Jazz and cut it in half for him to hold

Man, twice in less than a week we have fallen to the second page :(

Noob, if you want your toys, I leave the state Tuesday morning at 7am for a week. I'll be gone this afternoon and some of tomorrow, but give me a call and we can something up if you want.

I have seen the movie twice now, it is just so good
