Doesn't that make Smallville the greatest superhero series of all time, and one of the most successful shows of all time?

No, it's generally agreed that Smallville had long outstayed its welcome.

nope to both.

greatness is a matter of opinion, and everyone has an opinion

and many shows reach 10 seasons, last night was the last episode of a show that ran 53 years.

What show lasted 53 years?

And why do they keep making "Fast and Furious" movies when they suck.

To be fair, I didn't think smallville was all that bad, yes it had issues but then I don't like Gotham and think it maybe trying to over compensate with the ideology of the new season.

Opinions eh?

The story of Superman is probably bigger and more multi-faceted. You can do more with it. That's probably why Smallville lasts so long. The story of Batman is pretty much confined to Gotham, whereas with Superman the writers have the whole world and universe to play with.

One infinitely better then any superhero show. It's the longest running, and in my opinion, the best Sci-Fi TV show on the planet.

Why do fans say the Next Generation is the best? I like the original Star Trek series because the characters were cooler, and more iconic, and the crew left the ship and went down to the surface of the planets. The Next Generation episodes were almost all on board the ship.

TNG? Classic? Nah Voyager is where it's at or second best would be the animated series ;)

Though speaking about Sci Fi, I've now got an urge to watch Red Dwarf...

This post is neither a review or a suggestion, it's a question that could be asked in the Star Wars Episode 7 thread.

You were allowed back, I've pm'ed you and discussed your return. Don't destroy good threads with your asinine questions.

I liked the "Dark Knight Rises" because of the fairytale ending where Batman actually retired and gets the girl. The second Nolan film was too dark and depressing, especially the Joker. How that second film is someone's favorite Batman movie is a quandary. Anyone who enjoyed that needs serious psychological help.

Yes.

I never watched the series, so won't go see the film, but Jack Black needs a boost to his career.

DS9 was the best trek imo

So many great characters in one show, a brilliant full-circle story, an entire war with epic space battles... there is nothing I don't like about that show.
