Oops, got the two series mixed up again. Didn't like a few energon figures either, namely Mirage and Ironhide. Downshift/Wheeljack looks awesome though, and Energon Megs did become good guy in 1G/Shattered Glass

TF Movie Scorponok (deluxe)—waste of plastic IMO.
Beast Wars Optimus Minor—ugly monkey mold and what is with the four robot arms?
Universe King Atlas-huge ugly brick
Armada Scavenger—stomping gimmick ruined what could have been a cool toy.

Mini-cons. I just find a lot of their bot modes ugly.

Going to get some slack for this next one but all the deluxe cars we've been getting the last few years. It's not that they're bad themselves it's just, c'mon if you saw a toyline that had jets coming out the same size as cars as a kid, you'd think WTF?

I mean, I wouldn't let the combiners near Sideswipe or Prowl as a kid because the size just looked wrong. That said, the Actionmasters helped me with that issue. Motormaster and AM Optimus look closer in scale.

Not out to offend anyone but these oversized cars just bug me. Plus, with oil prices the way they are, it'd make more sense for Hasbro to produce more Basic/Scout cars.

Articultion? I give you Strongarm and the G2 Laser Rods.

Oh on topic, Energon Divebomb? Why because all the homages we get and noone's made him Banzai-tron yet.

Lastly, I love the Actionmasters, Energon combiners and Devestator homages. Universe Devestator is the best (the Landfill repaint), fits nicely in with G1 Prowl and co. But yeah, some new combiners would be nice. If not homages, why not go the way of Sunstorm and Acidstorm and give us new g1 combiner characters. That KO Predaking has a great colour scheme.

For other new combiners, I suggest Hasbro grab hold of the guys who gave us oversized Bruticus and Giant size Micromaster Devestator/Build King who I got from Toyhell and get them to redo Menasor, Defensor and the rest. Dev and Brute are larger than G1 Predaking.

No toy should fall apart like that, especially a Transformer. I don't mind an occasional door coming off an alternator figure (although it still irks me), but there was just no excuse for that disasterpeice of a toy. Titanium Megatron has to be a joke. You can't even reasonably call that a toy. He was the only titanium figure I opened, because I happened to stumble upon another one on clearance at wal-mart, but I soooo wish I never saw him.

As far as my hatred, I am entitled to my opinion. Not to dispute anyone, but from all appearances this thing looks like ass. The back looks to have too much kibble, the lame ass writing on the figure (I forgot who I am, oh yeah, I'm Galvatron. G2 Megatron all over again.) , cankles, the only thing I like about the figure is the head sculpt. The size is just the quickest and easiest thing to attack, like a lion preying on the weak and sickly.


No one on this board has Blaster yet either, yet they comment on it. 'If it had a new head sculpt it would be fine.' 'The colors look like a clown.'

Or Sunstreaker...'It looks too plain.' Blah, blah, blah.

You are very entitled to your opinion! I hope I didn’t seem like I meant otherwise, but seeing as how you use Emperor Galvatron as your screen name it might deserve a second chance.

Again though, I apologize if you feel I didn’t respect your opinion or something, it’s happened to me way too many times when I post in a TFA thread. I tend to get chewed out.

I guess I also have a little trouble with this thread as a whole, so if I didn’t respect your opinion, I apologize.

Nope, I'll take issue with you on this. Probably everyone here has at least one TF that they thought was rubbish until they actually had it in their hand, or saw it in store. You can express the opinion that you don't think this looks good based on the photos, but saying you hate this figure is just silly.

First off, Blaster is a repaint. Therefore, people have handled the figure before, albeit with a different colour scheme. Second, people are complaining about things that are very evident from the photos: the colour scheme and lack of a new head.

Again, "looks." People aren't insisting this figure is the worst thing ever before they've seen it in person.

Movie Ironhide (all three) i got the offroad version and most of it fell apart when i transformed it. and titanium megatron (3 inch pic on first page) thing falls apart too much. lol

Well, the 25th special figures are supposed to include an imnproved Armada HotShot with better articulation and jolt taboot, but no axelzooka.

i honestly don't see what is so bad about classics 2.0 (i refuse to call it universe) blaster. the colors are great, the cybertron soundwave head is awsome, and there hasn't been a blaster figure in 25 years. i would much rather have a blaster that transforms into a sick black stealth jet than a tapedeck anyday. and about repaints in the cassics 2.0 line, some figures in the unicron trilogy have a slight dab of realism (with the exeption of the cybertron sideways/classics 2.0 ratbat mold) to be repainted into G1 favorites (the classics 2.0 ratbat looks awsome, same thing with dirge).

G1 Starsabre, back when I had it. It looks like a Gundam gone wrong and has virtually no articulation. The jet modes stink.

I was not sorry to see it go when I sold it.

I agree with just about everyone here on the aforementioned TFs so I'll mention my own: IMO, Classics Grimlock. When this figure was first mentioned, I was pretty jacked up. It could have been great, possibly the best of the line. But the head to feet transformation totally ruined this mold! No real leg or foot articulation at all. Rigid legs might work for a legends class figure but not a modern day deluxe.

Classics Grimlock = CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, and even more CRAP.

I applaud creativity and trying to mix up the transformations on classic figures but Grimlock was a total mess-and failure-in my book.
