Ravenxl7 a poster over at tfw2005 has pointed out some interesting things on the upcoming TFU Starscream repaint, it seems to be a bit of a retool:

What do you think those holes could be for?
Accessories like a coronation set or rocket launchers?

The version that goes on sale is not going to look anywhere near that good.

Don’t, Henkei is far better than this thing. This Starscream is not even as detailed, nor does it have the beautiful paint applications Henkei does.

Henkei SS is spot on to his show appearance.

I don't believe them to be anything of significance.

Toy companies often hollow out portions of toys to reduce material costs.

Now, these small holes may not be for that purpose, but it might mean that other portions of the toy are now more hollow.

Seems like a wait and see thing to me.

I'll look at this one when it comes out and compare it to the original. Not going to make a decision based on Hasbro's doctored promotional photos.

Kinda curious whay this is coming at all. I guess it gives newer fans a chance at a domestic release of Classics Starscream. Otherwise, yeah odd. Oh and hi everybody.

Interesting, G2 Scream had a voiceboy just there on the planes back, but those holes on the shoulders...

The grey nose I don't like on this figure, the blue colored one looked better.

If it is a retool than it's the third time that they would have changed the shoulder intakes on the figure.

But I just wish that they would've changed the shoulder cannons that way Starscream could shoot things without hitting his wings.

And I'm glad the website is working again.

Looks like a recolor. Plus the extra holes seem like it'll be used for something. A "Coronation Starscream?" This'll be "bad comedy." B-)

I'll be getting this one for sure...Although Henkei would be a nicer figure, thus being more expensive...and, since I am currently quite funds-strapped, this'll do...He looks good to me!
